About: I believe pets are part of the family and should be treated that way. I have had many pets and love their companionship and have also included them in my daily routine I’m currently unemployed after 34 years with the same employer, I am dependable and experienced as evidenced by the amount of dedicated service to my former employer. About: Ive had pet experience since I was 14, and have been a fur mom to two dogs, and two cats. I have experience with anxious pets, and will give your babies the love and care they deserve! I’m currently available for walks and check in’s with your fur babies on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays! My schedule is pretty flexible so I can be available for other days of the week if given enough notice. I have an extensively trained although anxious German shepherd. I’ve learned a lot through her training and am eager to apply the guidance and care that I’ve learned in walking or playtime and check ins with your pup! About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.
About: I have taken care of dogs for about 2-3 years now. I have worked at animal shelters and now currently work at an emergency veterinary hospital, so I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and cats. I have also been fostering and rescuing dogs for about 6 years now alongside my mother. I work full time, 3 days a week however, on my days off, I would be able to care for them at any hour needed. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
