About: I’m a stay-at-home mom living on a farm with 2 horses, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a pig. Animals have always been an important part of my life since I was a little girl, and I have experience caring for a variety of pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. My schedule allows me the flexibility and availability to provide consistent attention and quality care. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. About: I have taken care of cats of every kind since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their beloved pets. Whether it is providing routine care, administering medication, or simply offering plenty of extra affection and playtime, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 2pm. I can also do drop-in visits during the day if needed, and I'm happy to provide updates and photos to keep you informed about your pet's well-being. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and I ensure they get plenty of exercise and attention. About: Since I was a child, people would bring strays or unbalanced animals to our house who would suddenly be calm and comfortable in my care. I spent a lot of time in nature and wild animals would often follow me home. I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. I am on the Board and a trainer for Hero Puppies for Life where we train service dogs for heroes with PTSD. We use positive reinforcement and are focused around relational bond training. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. I am quite passionate about it. :) Leo is my 7 year old black lab and personal service dog so your fur family will have free socialization and canine therapy in addition to my human care. He has worked with me extensively as a focal point in my approach to providing applied behavior analysis therapy to children and dogs. I trust our working relationship more than anyone on two legs. ;) Please feel free to ask me any questions about this dynamic! I am currently a full time student in an online, fully remote, tech program so I am very flexible when it comes to location, time of day, and duration for care. From the time I was in college, I always loved pet and house sitting. Opportunities for a change of scenery, in a fresh space, and caring for fur friends is always a treat. The care completely depends on the needs of the animals and home. I have administered meds, cared for young and old pets, implemented training, embraced snuggles, and fulfilled food orders that make meals look like a sundae.

I schedule all his vet appointments, make sure he always has what he needs. I will communicate with you through text and photos while your away so that you know your dog is having a great time and in good hands while missing you. About: I’ve been pet sitting and caring for dogs and cats for over 20 years, and I can genuinely say there are few things that make me happier than getting to know a new furry friend. I currently run my own pet-sitting business and have been incredibly lucky to build a wonderful little family of happy pets, repeat clients, and pet parents who trust me with their babies. I know every pet is their own little person! About: I'm very good with all animals, I think it's because they can sense I care, or it could be because I spoil them who knows lol. All my pets are healthy and happy. Everyone and every pet that comes into my care is always treated like they are family. I will always follow the wishes of every pet owner because you know what's best for your fur baby. I will work with each client to figure out the best and safest way to care for there pet while making sure my pets are safe. If I am going to a clients home I will make sure to follow any directions given. The only thing I can't move around is I take a friend to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 4 am and pick her up at 1pm but I'm available before, in-between, and after those times. I usually don't work on Sundays, it's our family day but if I'm needed I might be able to work something out. I follow any rules and directions given. I always do at least one meet and greet at your home so your pet will know I'm a friend and will trust me enough to take care of them and hopefully play with.

About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc). About: I’ve worked with many kinds of animals, including (but not limited limited to) Dogs, Cats, Horses, Bunnies, Guinea pigs and other rodents, birds, and farm animals! I have also worked with special needs and disabled animals I’m a student and in training to be an EMT! I’m available most weekends and evenings, along with morning check-ins on weekdays!
