About: I have been taking care of dogs and other animals for as long as I can remember! My family bred bully breeds for most of my life and I have 3 of my own that require a lot of extra care. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. I will take care of your pets like my own❤️! I have had just about every animal you could think of as well growing up and have a snake and bearded dragon currently if you have other animals that need caring for as well. I am new to rover but have plenty of experience with caring for my parents dogs, friends of my parents dogs, and a few neighbors pets. I currently work 9-5, Tuesday-Sunday in Blaine but have some flexibility and am available in the morning and evenings and all day Sunday and Monday! I have my own French bulldog boots who is the sweetest dog and I care for her through the day and I only have a part time job a couple days a week right now so my schedule is pretty much open! I have new beds, crates and a fenced in yard if needed care at my home. I stay at both mine and my significant others house , both perfect environments for dogs or small animals. About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life and get a deep sense of joy when I am able to care for them! I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 years which has provided me experience with all kinds of animals with all types of personalities. I have an animal medical background which helps me provide safe and sound handling techniques and animal care skills. I have owned an array of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, rats, and mice. I also have cared for other farm animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. I have fostered puppies through Ruff Start Rescue for 7 years which has given me extensive experience with potty training and leash training. I work at a school which gives me summers and weekends available for animal care. I am often available in the evenings year-round also. I have a quiet neighborhood and a large yard. My dog is young, playful, and very friendly. I am familiar and comfortable with crate training and dog-safe practices within the home. I am aware of pet toxicity and safety concerns with pets.

“Sonja stayed in our home and sat for our cat and dog for 3 nights/4 days. We are so thankful to have found her. We have a 5 lb dog who is pretty helpless (can’t go up and down stairs, can’t jump up into a bed) and incredibly fragile, so it made us really nervous to leave her with just anyone. However, upon first meeting, my dog let Sonja pick her up instantly, which she normally never lets strangers pick her up. Sonja is a kind and gentle soul, so it’s very easy to trust that she was going to treat our pets and home with care. Our pup was very happy to see us when we got home, and we could tell by how happy she was that we left her in good hands. Now that found Sonja, we can finally start traveling again!”

About: I have a senior myself, she’s 13 and she’s an Australian cattle dog mix. I have a horse I lease and his name is Booker. I’m available everyday except for Monday’s. I get out of school at 2:15 pm. On the weekends I can do over night but on the weekdays I can only stay until 10 pm My dogs old so she just stays on the couch all day. When it’s time to feed her she takes her time and stretches then she goes and eats her food

About: I have a 7 year old corgi and a 8 year old rescue that we like to call our mystery dog., that has brought much joy to my world! In 2024, we also welcomed 2 cats to their mix. Besides taking care of my own fur babies I have taken care of my friends two small dogs many of times over the past few years. As well as caring for my in laws corgi and sisters cattle dog. Care included, walks, potty breaks, play and feeding. I love being outside and walking dogs is a perfect way for a dog to be ready for downtime once they get home. Much like a child I believe dogs need attention in order to be well behaved and listen well. I am willing to watch dogs that may have special routines. I am interested in walking/ sitting in the early mornings and evenings. I am looking forward to working with you and your furry friend! I am currently working full time but my job allows me to work remotely when I need/want to. I am available most weekends with notice. I have a huge yard that is large enough for any dog to get their energy out. We also have a basement allowing for separate space for our dogs if needed.

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!
