“Alex was great with my nervous guy. We’ve boarded him in the past and he always seemed to be anxious and have trouble eating. He settled in quickly with Alex. I think being in a home environment was more like his everyday routine.”

“Mark and Marie did a wonderful job getting our old girl Sasha to feel comfortable and safe. I had never left her with anyone but family before so I was worried until our first meet and greet. She was so comfortable right from the start. The pictures they sent while we were gone showed she had a great time! We will definitely use them in the future.”

“We were so pleased with how well our dogs were treated and the updates we received. You can definitely tell Princesa and Bradley love dogs, are compassionate, and truly want to provide a loving place for pets. Their land and house is perfect. We can't wait to use them again!”

“Brandy and Chad do a fantastic job with our small dog Patty. Patty can be nervous, tense, and anxious around strangers, but they've done a wonderful job to make her feel like she is at home. We highly recommend them for your dog sitting!”

“Jaymie has always done such a good job with our senior dog Walter who requires a little extra care. We have been so happy with her service and will continue to use her as our dog sitter.”

“Our dog had a wonderful stay with Patti and Patrick. He was dealing with some health issues prior to his stay with them, and they were supportive with giving him his medication. Patti sent us fun text messages and photos everyday of our happy boy. He was well taken care of and loved in their care.”

“Candace and Jeremy were amazing. This was my first time boarding my dogs, and they tend to be quite annxios. Hearing they did well, had a great time and were so well cared for makes me so happy. Highly recommend them!”

“This is the first time I left Frankie anywhere and Anna did a great job of slowly introducing him to other dogs and her family. I could tell through the daily photos and updates that Frankie was in good hands and that they actually enjoyed having him there.”

“We had an excellent experience with Cait and Tim! Our pup didn’t have good manners when meeting their family dog but they didn’t seem to be worried. He eventually settled in and he had a great time for his overnight. He was so tired the following day from all the activity at their house. We’d never used a service like this before. We would recommend them 100%!”

“Buddy enjoyed his stay! Great fenced in yard to run and play with the other dogs. We appreciated getting pictures and updates while we were away. Buddy came home ready to nap after having so much fun! Will definitely stay again. Thank you! Carrie & Dan”

It was evident she cared very much about our dog and was be determined she would have a good experience and she did! We will definitely use Talishia again!”

“Shelly is the best! She takes care of my dog like no other….even after he’s had surgery (neutered and leg surgery!! Rocky is always so happy to spend time with her. Thank you Shelly!”

“Kayla was so great with our 16-yr old girl for a 5-day trip! She sent photos and updates while we were away and we felt so comfortable and didn't worry at all. She even sent our girl home with some treats, which was above and beyond. We don't know how much longer our dog will be with us, but we are so grateful to have gotten to know Kayla so we have a safe place to leave her for any future trips. You can tell she loves dogs and we 100% recommend her.”

“Michelle was amazing! We were apprehensive about leaving our puppy for the first time, but Michelle reassured us that he would do great! She kept us updated with pictures and videos everyday. Our puppy especially enjoyed romping around on her land. Now we don’t have to worry about leaving our puppy; we know he will be well taken care of. I would highly recommend Michelle!”

Rebekah sent updates throughout the stay along with pictures . We will definitely hire her again ! Thank you for taking such good care of our furry family member!”

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
