About: Lifelong dog owner, attentive care, and a loving home with two teens (16 & 13). Experienced rescue dog mom to Lily (12) and Bonita (7), creating a safe, happy environment for your pups while you're out of town. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I’m able to schedule regular potty breaks, feedings, playtime, and walks with flexibility in both the daytime and evenings. In the summer, I prioritize early morning and evening walks along our shaded, tree-lined streets (or in your neighborhood if preferred) to keep pups safe from the heat. During the day, dogs are never left alone for long periods and get plenty of interaction, supervision, and affection. For slower-moving or senior pups, I’m just as happy to focus on a calm routine filled with snuggles, gentle attention, and treats. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family in a safe, structured, and loving environment. I have a large fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and play, as well as crates available if your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space. My dogs sleep in a separate, gated laundry room, and I can provide a separate sleeping area for visiting pups if needed to ensure everyone is comfortable. I have fostered dogs from San Antonio Pets Alive for 6 years so my dogs are very familiar with guests and I carefully manage introductions and energy levels to create a low-stress environment. In clients’ homes, I stick closely to your dog’s established routine to minimize disruption following feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any specific care instructions. My goal is always to make your dog feel secure, happy, and well cared for, whether they’re in my home or staying in theirs

House/pet sitting; I am available to discuss this option, but as a pet parent, can be challenging to accept but I definitely will work with you on the details, to make sure everybody’s taken care of in a timely manner, ie potty breaks. I have done pet care in my home along with overnight stays at client’s homes. I have also done dog/puppy and kitten fostering for local area shelters since 2019, as well as on my own, rescuing countless pets and reuniting lost pets with their owners, for decades. I treat all animals the same way I would want mine treated. Your beloved pet becomes THE VIPet, in my home. My pets are fully vaccinated and on monthly flea and tick preventative. I am relatively new to Rover as a pet care provider. True to my nature and love for animals I fall in love and care for each, and every one, I care for in and outside of my home. For dog walking services: Summertime: I prefer before 11 AM or after 7 PM, to avoid excessive overheating of your pet and the ground and when there is normally shade throughout the typical neighborhood in which they can be walked.
