About: I have years of experience caring for cats, dogs and rabbits. I have cared for older dogs with diabetes who require a daily shot and given extra play time to younger cats and dogs who need to use up their energy. I can provide care for multiple animals in one home and adjust to each pet’s personal needs. As a cat owner myself, I am sensitive to each cat’s personality and unique nature. I have given oral medication to cats who need treatment and always interact with them on their terms. I am happy to discuss your pet’s personal needs in order to keep them comfortable and happy. I love spending time outside. I often go for walks and hikes and love taking dogs along with me. Reach out with your pet’s needs and we can work something out. I make sure to follow the routines that your pet is comfortable with in their home. I always aim to be sensitive to your pets needs, body language and comfort level.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: Hi I am Christina, I will care for your pet as if it is my own. I decided to make it my career, I am a certified dog obedience trainer. I got my certificate from Animal Behavior College. I did volunteer work with service dogs and dogs working at Rikers Island. I do drop ins, over nights, dog walking and teach simple commands as well. I even offer leash training and weekly visits! Short notice is also fine with me, I know how hectic life can get. Your pet will be safe and happy with me. I have a pitbull mix and a meatball of a cat :) of my own. My dog weighs 65lbs. so big dogs do not intimidate me. I have had cats all my life, so caring for all their quirks comes second nature. About: I Work nights! I am off Thursday and Friday nights. I've rasied my 80lb. Female dog from when she was 4 weeks old to about 6 years. I'm very active and love to take my dog out for runs. Very disciplined and have taught my big girl to behave politely in NYC. I've taken care of huskies and smaller dogs like chihuahuas and poodles for neighbors as well! I work overnights and just moved to an Tamnersville. I would love to walk or just spend time with a dog. My dog is home on staten island with family and I miss spending time with dogs so much! Hygiene and cleanliness at home are priority. A lot of canine care is knowing what each dogs' wants and needs are. Each dog will communicate to you what they want and need.
