About: I've lived and loved dogs since I was born. When I was in middle school I started helping out at a local daycare and boarding facility, and from there began assisting the trainer. Since high school, I worked at the local doggy daycare and boarding facility caring for every size of dog imaginable. I am experienced in basic doggy first aid and medicine administration. I've lived and trained with livestock guardian breeds, sporting breeds, hounds, and working breeds all my life! I’m a senior at Maine Maritime Academy, and my class schedule is busy but I have many mornings, afternoons, and evenings off. We can definitely make something work! I am very flexible and can work with your dogs needs! Even if your dog requires PJs before bed time... I can make that happen! Routine is key in dog-lives, so whatever your dog's routine is, I will follow it to the best of my ability.

Thank goodness for Morgan. She was able to sit with our new rescue dog so we could drop in to a friend’s wedding, We knew our Max was in good hands, and he really liked her.

Daphne responded to our request quickly. She sent pictures of her visits and our pups were cared for during extended day trips. It was a weight off our shoulders knowing our fur babies were fine while we were having fun during our stay in Seward. This was our first time using Rover.

About: I've had both cats and dogs growing up. All sizes of dogs up to Rottweilers to my current pet Ripley, he's a frenchie. I've had cats too, love them all. I work at Kenai Fjords Tours so im on the water most days but work is very flexible. I have time on my hands and my frenchie would enjoy the company too. I provide a safe, calm and loving environment for pets in both my home and my clients home. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs, so I take the time to make sure they feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. In my home, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise and affection. I provide a clean and pet friendly space where they can relax and feel at ease.

Serena was so great with my dog, she sent lots of updates and I could tell she was really well cared for. My flight got delayed and she was super flexible about adding an extra day, which I really appreciated. Would definitely book her again.

About: Up until May of 2025, I've had a dog since I was 17 years old. Since losing her last year, I’ve joined Rover as I would love to continue to care for others’ fur babies. I had a pit mix for 9.5 years and for the last year and a half of her life, she was paralyzed in her entire back half due to a herniated disc and surgery. This taught me many skills on how to care for special needs dogs and I'd be happy to continue to use them should your fur baby need them. :) Currently working as a seasonal employee here in Seward and do not have a set schedule, but please message me and see if I’m available. :) I am mostly available for walking and in-home overnight stays as I live in employee housing and pets are not allowed. However I love all of the animal love and snuggles when I’m able.

I care for your pets with respect for their boundaries as well as yours as an owner! I aim to keep any areas clean and safe. I also like to take my detailed notes to leave behind while caretaking for your pooch!

Alexis is awesome! She did a great job with our 3 dogs. 2 youngish sisters that are active and my 14+ year old GSD buddy. The old man is doing well but showing his age. Alexis met the needs of young and old alike. Highly recommended by our whole pack.

About: I am a current student at Ohio State University home for the summer and I have had pets my whole life. I grew up with 3 dogs, one miniature pincher that we rescued when I was young who passed away when I was 12 and a golden retriever/lab mix named Koko that I had for 12 years that passed away last summer. I currently have a German Shepard/chow mix that I’ve had for about 8 years and his name is Colt. Colt is my best friend and I bring him around on adventures all the time. I taught Colt hot to fetch, catch a frisbee, and how to dance with me. I love to hike and think dogs just make hiking experience 1000x better. I also go to the beach almost everyday over the summer and love bringing my dog to the beach. I have a pretty big yard and am looking to spend a lot of time with dogs this summer! My dog at home has been pretty lonely since my other dog Koko died last year so it would also be nice to have other dogs Colt can be around and play with!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
