About: My pet care experience is extensive, having completed over 30, 5-star dog/cat sits, years of caring for and raising dogs and cats, as well as experience with Positive Reinforcement training and Clicker Dog Training. I have experience with administering many types of medication including pills and liquid form, and have cared for dogs with seizure issues, heart problems and joint issues. I have experience with lots of breeds, large, small and everything in-between! My experience covers young active dogs as well as elderly pups who need a slower pace, and I believe ever dog needs a "sniff" walk once in a while! My animal care experience spans my entire life! I have had the privilege of owning many rescue animals over the years including a German shepherd, border collie mix, chihuahua, miniature Maltese poodle mix, and three different cats! I've had dogs since I was 3 years old, got my very first (and long asked for) cat at 4 years old, experienced raising my first litter of kittens at 5 years old and got my very own miniature white Maltese poodle mix at 7! I've also done weekend dog watching and am always the first call for animal care when friends are traveling. I'm a college student, currently studying remotely to enable the amazing opportunity of pet care, traveling and pet sitting! My schedule is fairly flexible, so your furry friend will not be alone for long stretches of time! A little bit about me: I'm a trained ballet dancer, musician and writer, spending any free time I have taking classes, keeping up a healthy lifestyle and working on my first novel! I love spending time reading, walking the furry friend I'm staying with and finding new study cafe's. I am currently available for: -Dog walking services -Drop-in visits -In-home pet sitting -Long term in-home pet sitting -Elderly Dog walking care Specialized pet care I look forward to chatting about any further questions!
About: I have professional experience working at a dog resort in Arizona, where I learned the importance of structured care, behavior awareness, and creating a safe and positive environment for dogs of all temperaments. After moving to Alaska, I started sitting and have been providing pet care for the Kenai Peninsula for 3 years. Over time, I have built a strong group of regulars for our doggy daycare, which has been really rewarding and speaks to the trust our clients place in us. I focus on making sure each dog feels comfortable, active, and cared for just like they are at home. During their stay, dogs get plenty of outdoor time and exercise throughout the day (9 AM–10 PM). I also work on simple daily training and reinforcement with the dogs in my care to help improve behavior and manners. Communication is also a big priority for me. I provide regular updates, which include photos and videos, so owners can see how their pets are doing and feel connected while they’re away. I make sure clients are always informed with fast and clear communication throughout the stay. Most importantly, I treat every dog like my own. I pay attention to their individual needs, and I want both pets and owners to feel completely at ease. If a client isn’t happy, I’m not happy! It's really as simple as that. I am available for pet care daily from 9 AM to 10 PM, including weekends and holidays. This is a full-time commitment, and I maintain a consistent, reliable schedule year-round so owners can depend on me whenever they need care. I operate every day of the week and prioritize keeping dogs active, engaged, and comfortable throughout their stay. Our goal is to make sure each dog has attention and plenty of time outside during the day. I offer both doggy daycare and boarding, providing flexible care options based on each dog’s needs and each owner’s preference. Dogs are welcome in my home environment and also have access to multiple spaces depending on what best suits each dog’s comfort level, routine, and behavior. This allows me to adjust care on an individual basis rather than a 'one-size-fits-all' setup. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can safely socialize, play, and stay active throughout the day under supervision. For dogs that prefer quieter environments, I am able to separate them into other areas to ensure they feel more secure and stress-free. Cleanliness is a top priority in all of my spaces. I maintain a consistently clean and sanitary environment to ensure the health and safety of every dog in my care. I also focus heavily on socialization, positive interaction, and routine. Dogs are introduced and grouped appropriately based on temperament, energy level, and owner preferences. If requested, I also provide individual walks to ensure dogs get exercise and stimulation. I closely follow each owner’s instructions and preferences to make sure every dog is cared for exactly how they need to be. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and comfortable environment where dogs can feel at home while receiving personalized care.
About: Hi, I’m Bri! I’m based in Kenai and I sometimes travel to Anchorage. I've always had a deep love for animals. I offer in-home pet/house sitting, overnight stays, walks, and drop-in visits as my schedule allows. Cats hold a special place in my heart (I’m a proud mom to 4!) I have hands-on experience caring for cats at every stage of life, from energetic kittens to sweet seniors with medical needs. I'm experienced with following special diets and instructions, light grooming, and giving plenty of love and attention according to their boundaries. I also grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, so whether you have a tiny pup or a gentle giant, I’m comfortable and at ease. From high-energy dogs who need walks and active playtime to cats who prefer quiet routine, I treat every animal like family. Plus my background in professional house cleaning means I’m extra mindful of your space. You can count on me to keep your home and personal belongings clean, tidy, and secure while you’re away. I’ll gladly keep you posted with cute pics and updates so you can enjoy your time away with total peace of mind. Your pets’ comfort is my top priority, and I can't wait to meet you and your fur babies! My daily schedule is currently flexible in the mornings. I just ask for at least a few days notice so I can be best prepared! I care for your pets in their own familiar environment to minimize stress and keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow all your instructions. Feeding schedules, medication, special diets, playtime, and bedtime routines. Safety is non-negotiable: I secure doors and windows, ensure pets can’t escape, and monitor for any hazards. For overnight stays, I sleep at your home so your pets have constant companionship and immediate care if needed. I'm happy to send daily photo and text updates so you can see exactly how your pets are doing.
About: I have work experience/certificates with dog training and kennel care as well as some veterinary experience for all kinds of animals and procedures. I’m super laid back and have lots of free time to care for everyone’s pets! I work short 4 hour shifts Tuesday-Saturday but other than that I can be wherever I need to be! I’ll have to be home sometimes to care for my dog child too but he’s easy! I’m an extremely quiet, respectful individual. Your home and pets will be better taken care of then my own. Any requests I’ll do my best to accommodate!
“Ryan continues to be my go-to cat-sitter. I have booked him for drop-in visits many times over the last months because of some unexpected travel I needed to do. He is responsive, keeps me updated and my cat loves spending time with him.”

About: I've had many pets growing up and even now. I've mostly taken care of cats and dogs. I've had my dog Mochi for 8 years now and have been caring for her since she was a puppy. I am not currently working so I have plenty of time for furry friends! I am available for outdoor activities, playing inside, or just relaxing with your lovely pets. My goal is for you and your fluffy companion to be happy and comfortable. I have my own dog, Mochi, she will not be joining in on the fun unfortunately. I will treat every pet in my care as my own. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
