“Andrew was great with my dog. He was very accommodating for pick up/drop off, and he provided daily video and picture updates. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog boarder.”

About: Family of longtime animal lovers. We have several large indoor kennels as needed as well as a very large outside dog run. Our pack of 3 outside dogs are extremely social and loving towards new friends and love to spend the day outside with anyone that wants to play. Inside we have a senior lap dog that is a wonderful puppy nanny playmate and babysitter. There is someone at the house almost all the time so supervision of playtime and potty time isn't an issue. With 4 dogs, they are my routine, no need to "fit them in". I love all things dog and puppies. We walk and take out potty on demand. We have a large dog run with 3 outside dogs, we have multible indoor crates, and comfy couches for inside dogs as well as an inside dog to play with.
“Ryan made firm friends with my shy cat on day 1. He took lots of great pictures every day, played and petted her and kept all the water, food and litter box areas welll taken care of. He also went the extra mile and offered to take our garbage out as well before we came back!”

About: I have professional experience working at a dog resort in Arizona, where I learned the importance of structured care, behavior awareness, and creating a safe and positive environment for dogs of all temperaments. After moving to Alaska, I started sitting and have been providing pet care for the Kenai Peninsula for 3 years. Over time, I have built a strong group of regulars for our doggy daycare, which has been really rewarding and speaks to the trust our clients place in us. I focus on making sure each dog feels comfortable, active, and cared for just like they are at home. During their stay, dogs get plenty of outdoor time and exercise throughout the day (9 AM–10 PM). I also work on simple daily training and reinforcement with the dogs in my care to help improve behavior and manners. Communication is also a big priority for me. I provide regular updates, which include photos and videos, so owners can see how their pets are doing and feel connected while they’re away. I make sure clients are always informed with fast and clear communication throughout the stay. Most importantly, I treat every dog like my own. I pay attention to their individual needs, and I want both pets and owners to feel completely at ease. If a client isn’t happy, I’m not happy! It's really as simple as that. I am available for pet care daily from 9 AM to 10 PM, including weekends and holidays. This is a full-time commitment, and I maintain a consistent, reliable schedule year-round so owners can depend on me whenever they need care. I operate every day of the week and prioritize keeping dogs active, engaged, and comfortable throughout their stay. Our goal is to make sure each dog has attention and plenty of time outside during the day. I offer both doggy daycare and boarding, providing flexible care options based on each dog’s needs and each owner’s preference. Dogs are welcome in my home environment and also have access to multiple spaces depending on what best suits each dog’s comfort level, routine, and behavior. This allows me to adjust care on an individual basis rather than a 'one-size-fits-all' setup. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can safely socialize, play, and stay active throughout the day under supervision. For dogs that prefer quieter environments, I am able to separate them into other areas to ensure they feel more secure and stress-free. Cleanliness is a top priority in all of my spaces. I maintain a consistently clean and sanitary environment to ensure the health and safety of every dog in my care. I also focus heavily on socialization, positive interaction, and routine. Dogs are introduced and grouped appropriately based on temperament, energy level, and owner preferences. If requested, I also provide individual walks to ensure dogs get exercise and stimulation. I closely follow each owner’s instructions and preferences to make sure every dog is cared for exactly how they need to be. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and comfortable environment where dogs can feel at home while receiving personalized care.
About: Hello! We are a family of four. My husband and myself have two children. We now have a 2 year old black lab, Lionhead rabbit, fish and pet crabs. We had three very loved dogs the last 12 years. They all passed of old age. We had a German Shepherd, a Yorkshire Terrier and a Weenie Dog ( my profile photo) Adults would always be present in the household and young children would never be unsupervised. If client preferred their animal was not handled by a child that could be arranged. Between my husband and myself we have experience with dogs, cats, parrots, parakeets, snakes, fish, rabbits, hamsters, crabs, pigs and chickens. We are willing to take exotic pets. I worked at a doggy day care in Hawaii while going to college. It was such a fun job and taught me a lot about the business. It taught me things I want to do as well as don't want to do when providing my own services. I have experience with senior and geriatric dogs as our dogs required medication, syringes and wound care at the end of their lives. Right now I only provide animal daycare and short term pet boarding. I can do drop ins on occasion if the schedule allows. We are not set up like a typical kennel. Your animal will have the run of the house and therefore must be fully house trained and okay in a kennel at night if not potty trained or a chewer. We converted our office into a doggy room. No children are allowed in this room so if your pup needs some quiet time to listen to piano music or just relax it’s a nice quiet spot for them to go, although most end up on my bed for some reason :) We do NOT have a fenced yard but we have a smaller fenced off area for potty and outdoor breaks. We have a little over 5 acres on a relatively quiet cul-de-sac. I typically prefer to keep the animal leashed for the first few hours upon arrival so that I can determine whether or not it is safe to let he or she off leash for potty and playtime. If the owner requests that the animal remain leashed the entire time that is perfectly fine. We have a great neighborhood for walking. I would need to know if your dog is okay around other dogs as we may encounter other pets a long the walk. If that will be an issue we can remain on our 5 acre property for fun and exercise. I am home full time unless running errands or taking kids to school. Dogs can be let out to potty as mush as needed. I typically take them out once an hour. We have a 10 x 30 fenced potty area outside downstairs. Because of this, I typically ask if a dog is OK with stairs, but I have been known to carry dogs up to 40 pounds up and down the stairs.

“Best dog sitter ever! My dog might now love Alyssa and her family more than me. Lola has been going to doggy daycare with them for several months now, and I always know she’s safe and well-loved in their care. Highly recommend booking with Alyssa if she is available!”

“Alanna is absolutely wonderful! First of all, her doggie day care set up is beautiful and she has so many treats and things for the dogs to enjoy. Our dog Khumba is very special and has a sordid history. He’s very frightened of everything and has terrible separation anxiety. He will not come to anyone he doesn’t already know and if he’s scared he will run non-stop. I spoke about this with Alanna and she had a game plan to keep him safe. Unfortunately, despite her using two leashes to take Khumba for a walk the leash I had provided snapped and he ripped the backup leash out of her hands. He’s a former sprint racing dog so he has a hard pull. Alanna immediately informed me of the situation and I was lucky to be on break at work. She worked with me to try and call Khumba over the phone to get him to return to my voice but ultimately he would just keep running away. I couldn’t leave work and my husband was nearing the end of his shift so Alanna attempted to keep Khumba in sight while she waited for him to arrive. She rallied her neighbors to help try to lure him in or at least keep track of his location. He was still loose by the time I was off work and she offered to drive to pick me up so my husband could continue searching. She posted on Facebook and other places online to let people know that Khumba was missing and kept my husband and I updated every step of the way. She informed us immediately of any sightings and kept looking for him herself. She could have easily just wished us luck and apologized for him getting free from her instead of continuing to tirelessly search for him. She provided us with food and water while we were looking. Finally she and her mother spotted Khumba and my husband was able to get to the area in time to call him and let him see that it was someone he knew. Without Alanna’s help the outcome might have been much different. She went well above and beyond what she was initially asked to do and I will never be able to thank her enough. She made all the right decisions, there were just extenuating circumstances that led to a difficult situation. She handled it so well and I’m honestly amazed at how well she was able to keep focused during such a stressful situation. I know she takes great care of dogs because of how well she cared for us and I know if Khumba was able to spend more time with her, he would warm up to her and see that she was taking great care of him too. I would highly recommend Alanna as a sitter.”

About: Leaving your animals with anyone, anywhere can be a nerve racking experience, but situations arise where you may have to. I’ve personally experienced this and know how scary it can be to find just the right sitter. I’ve had dogs my whole life and know that each and every breed is unique, special and they certainly don’t belong shoved in a crate all day, they deserve lots of play time & love. I’m currently working from home, which provides me the time and ability to care for your fur family for extended periods of time, so go on and take that long hard earned vacation with the peace of mind knowing your pup is being well taken care of. With over an acre of lake front property fully fenced with in-ground invisible fencing there’s ample room for your pup to run and play safely. With a large fenced in potty area for free range potty time, and guaranteed outdoor play time twice a day. The safety, comfort and care of any animal is important to me and is my number one priority. I also love to send pictures of puppy play time for anyone who would like them!
