“Sheri gave my cat, Scamp, lots of love and playtime to help with his separation anxiety and get him through his first time without even our dog here with him for several days.”

“Thank you for taking care of my babies while I was away. Stephanie was able to squeeze me in with very short notice and was very punctual in the agreed on times. She sent me updates on the pets and the house, and I felt at ease the entire time.”

About: Hello! I’ve worked with all types of animals since I was very young (particularly dogs and cats) and I enjoy every moment of it! Currently, I find myself in the Animal Care field, so I have a deeper understanding of not only basic needs, but veterinary care and animal behavior as well. I’m a pet parent myself, so I understand what it’s like to have a furry one in the care of others and I won’t hesitate to communicate as needed. Thanks for reading! I work full time Tuesdays through Saturdays. I have opening shifts (7:30am-4:00pm) and closing shifts (9am-5:30pm) that alternate starting with closing shift on Tuesdays. I can do drop-in visits in the early mornings and evenings, and if necessary (and close enough driving distance) I can drop in during my lunch hour (1-2:00pm). I will follow all instructions for each of the pet’s needs and I’m VERY careful about avoiding pets potentially running out of the house, as I have 2 little escape artists myself. At the owner’s home, I can let dogs out on their fenced-in yard (if they have one) or I can put on their leash/harness to take them outside to go potty. I will carefully follow all feeding and care directions and communicate quickly if I need clarification on anything. For cats, I’ll make sure litter boxes are clean and fresh and make sure they have clean water as well. If owners are away for some time, I’ll always try to engage with pets in playtime because I believe enrichment and play are part of good mental health and welfare for the animals and it keeps them happy :)
“Monica is the best, she’s the Rover momma that other Rover mommas pick for their fur babies! My fat cat adores her and does so much better when I travel if Monica comes by. He has made it very obvious that he is Monica’s biggest fan!”
About: I've cared for pets a majority of my life not only my own pets but between family, friends, and previous co-worker helping in anyway I can. I have 6 years experience training working dogs. I have training and experience in first aid with dogs. I can check on pets however frequently needed, I am also available for walks and play. I can always adjust my schedule if needed, but if I can't for some reason I will communicate that. I can either let your dogs out in your backyard or I can take them on walks to go to the bathroom. I will follow all instructions given to me.
About: Hi! My name is Ramona. I grew up in Clinton, Oklahoma, and my first job was on an alpaca farm while I was in high school, where I fed them three times a week. I graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in foreign languages. Feel free to ask me anything! I ran two half marathons in 2025: the Taylor Swift Fun Run and the Spooky Sprint in Lee’s Summit. I love going on long walks, and unfortunately, because of my lifestyle, I can’t have a dog right now. I’d love the opportunity to watch your fur baby’s though! I would be consistently responsible, highly respectful, and proactively communicative with your space. I truly appreciate very clear communication when it comes to understanding and meeting my clients’ preferences.
About: I offer pet sitting, dog walking, baths, to give your pets the love, care, and attention they deserve. I have dogs of my own who are treated like royalty, so I understand that our pets aren’t just animals — they’re family! I have 7 years of pet-sitting experience and have also completed an internship at a veterinary hospital. Your pets’ comfort, happiness, and well-being are always my priority. During each visit, I typically spend at least 30 minutes with your pets, with multiple visits available as needed. I’ll make sure they’re fed, get plenty of playtime, enjoy walks if requested, and receive lots of love, attention, and companionship while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends to see how I can help make your time away a little easier and give you peace of mind! 🐾❤️ During week days I do walks / feeding in the morning , have a potty break 12-1 and then come back 5-6 for a walk & dinner & another let out around 9ish. Typically it’s how the owners have their yards set up but I do multiple walks a day with the pups and lots of play time!

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
