“Sheri was absolutely awesome to work with. She kept me updated all the time with how my dog was doing and was always quick to answer if I had any questions. She was very accommodating and made sure to learn my dogs schedule before her visits. Her constant pictures let me know that my dog was well taken care of and happy while I was gone.”

“Savannah was Super! She stepped in on short notice and gave Bella and Hobbes so much thoughtful care and loving playtime. It made a huge difference knowing they were in such good hands. We’re so thankful for her kindness, flexibility, and the way she really connects with our pets. Can’t wait to have her back!”
“Alyssa always does a great job!! My boys are well cared for and happy when I return! Alyssa also goes above and beyond by giving me heads up while I'm gone about packages/notices from my apt complex! I appreciate it!”

“Alesscia took such great care of my babies and sent so many wonderful pictures. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the care, updates, photos, and love shown to Drifter and Moscow.”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up with family pets and caring for my own dogs over the years has given me a lifelong appreciation for the special bond we share with our animals. I've also responsibly cared for other people's pets, both during the day and overnight, including dogs, cats, and even birds! Although I don't currently have pets of my own, that's actually one of the reasons I'm excited to join Rover. I'd love the opportunity to give your pets extra love, attention, and companionship while you're away. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I would treat yours with the same care, patience, and affection I'd want someone to give my own! I work for myself, which gives me a flexible schedule that doesn't follow a typical Monday–Friday, 9–5 routine. I'm happy to work with pet parents to find a schedule that fits their pets' needs and routines. I offer drop-in visits, dog walks, house sitting, and overnight stays in your home. Whether your fur baby needs a midday visit, some extra playtime, or company while you're away, I'd love to help make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for! I understand that inviting someone to care for your pets and into your home requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I'll respect your home, carefully follow your pet's feeding schedule and care instructions, and make sure their routines are maintained as closely as possible. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my priorities. I'm also happy to provide updates and photos during visits or stays so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family members are receiving attentive, loving care while you're away!

I treat every pet with the same kindness and consideration I give my own. Pet care is already an important part of my everyday life, and I enjoy making time to care for animals. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate dog walks, drop-in visits, feeding routines, and quality time with pets throughout the week. You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
