About: As a former Air Force Medical Technician I have medical experience with humans, for the past nine years I have cared for many pets with medications. If your baby needs daily medication (eye drops, ear drops, pills or injections) I can easily accomplish on schedule. Our Bernedoodle, Claira, loves other dogs and cats! About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY night thru SUNDAY. morning. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I have experience with the smallest of dogs to even a 110lb dog! My family has had 3+ dogs at one time since I was a kid so I’m used to dogs for sure, we even have added 2 cats to the family! I am newly married, in a home with a fenced in yard. I have recently taken on the service of boarding and have absolutely loved it! Message me and I’d love to help you and take care of your pet 🤍 I am currently working a part-time job, and sometimes work 8 hours. I’m available during the weekdays and weekends, and can be flexible since I create my own schedule! I have my own transportation as well. I am currently only open for boarding, I have a safe, fenced in yard with plenty of room for playing catch & running around. If the animals are ever outside of the fence, they are kept on a leash for their safety and my sanity!
