“Deanna is amazing!! She goes above and beyond for our cat! She is flexible and caring, and we feel so comfortable knowing she's taking good care of Sampson. We can't thank her enough for being there for us and our cat!”

“Tiffani was so responsible and receptive to my “shy” guys. I was so relieved going out of town and using a new care person for the first time in four years to get the feeling that all was being done as if I were home. Takes a lot of pressure off the normal stress of being away from home.”

“Wonderful experience. My dogs loved Kara and she dod the best job caring for them while we were away. Overall a lovely animal lover amd we would be thrilled to work with in the future! Highly recommend!!!”

About: About Me: I am a teacher, pet mom (to both dogs & cats!), and lover of all animals. I lead my life with empathy, which makes me an extremely patient and effective pet care provider. It is my mission to treat your babies with the same amount of love, respect, and compassion that I would hope somebody would give to my own. I believe that behavior management, if necessary, should always be rooted in consistency and positive redirections. My Experience: Beyond being a cat and dog mom, I have years of experience with long term cat and dog sitting. I am experienced and comfortable with any age of pet, from puppies/kittens to senior animals. I have some basic experience with training from my own pets. My Schedule: Until my summer ends, I am available almost daily. Once school starts, I am available on weekends and week day evenings. During these times, I can do check ins, feedings, walks, play times, or overnights. I am comfortable with week day overnights, if your pet is able to be alone during my typical 8 hour work day. I am empathetic, nurturing, responsible, and consistent. At the end of the day, the thing that makes me most effective is my genuine love for animals. I care for and approach all animals as gently and lovingly as I do for my own. I am comfortable with many styles of pet care including crating, walking, outdoor and indoor play, anxiety management, and more. As a mom of an anxious rescue pup, I understand the importance of providing an animal a safe space. I make it my mission to help all pets feel comfortable and confident around me. I mold to your pet’s needs and personality, rather than making them bend to my own.

About: Throughout high school and now college I have sat for dogs and cats. I have taken care of many dogs, playing with them, feeding, walks and even cleaning up behind them. With cats I have played, fed, and cleaned out litter boxes. Although I have not done it officially besides friends and family, I want to help you take care of your animals just as if they were my own with love and happiness. I also have a family dog that I have taught to do tricks and helped potty train. I currently work part-time at a grocery store. Most times I work 8am to 2pm so I can take care of your animals before I go to work and after. Even if the there needs to be a drop in, I could take care during working hours as well. Every animal will be treated with love and care. I will stick to a routine that the owner may have and if crating is needed I could do so safely for both me and your pet.
“I recently had the pleasure of working with Briana, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From our first interaction, it was clear that she had a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of dog care. Briana took the time to get to know my dogs' personalities, habits, and specific needs, which put me at ease right away. During the time I was away, she provided regular updates and adorable photos, which reassured me that my pups were in great hands. Thank you Briana”
About: I am a mature and reliable pet sitter with a preference for cats but will also be happy to provide care for small dogs or other animals. I operate with a genuine love for all all animals and have a history of community service and donations to animal shelters and causes. I have been a cat owner for over 12 years and currently have one senior cat. When it comes to cat care, my extensive experience and commitment to feline companionship shine through. I specialize in socializing skittish cats, exercising larger cats, and soothing senior cats. I am detail-oriented, ensuring that your pets get the care and attention they are accustomed to, including medication management, grooming, and in-home care. I am proactive in communication and am also highly responsive, giving pet-owners piece of mind. But that's not all – my versatility extends to caring for dogs as well. I bring the same level of dedication and expertise to canine companions, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or adherence to dietary requirements, I'm well-equipped to provide comprehensive care for dogs of smaller sizes. With me as your trusted pet sitter, you can confidently leave both your cats and dogs in capable hands. Your pets' happiness, safety, and well-being are my top priorities, and I take pride in delivering exceptional care tailored to their individual needs, whether they're four-legged felines or canine companions. My schedule is flexible and can accommodate most requests with enough notice. While I can provide care for your pet in your own home, I am also available to host your pet in my home. I have a one-level home with hard wood floors (for easy cleanup) and pet-proof furniture. I do not let animals outside unattended so if you have a cat that likes to wander outside, I will not be comfortable allowing that

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
