“Maellen was amazing with my dog Luna. Luna is very afraid of new people but warmed up to Maellen very quickly. She loved all the walks and love Maellen gave her! I will definitely book her for any and all future trips. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“My fur baby absolutely loved her time with Hannah! She cared for her as I would. I would 100% recommend Hannah and her pet sitting services! Thank you Hannah was taking such phenomenal care of my baby!”

“Debbie took great care of our dog Cooper while we were away for over a week. She sent via text a daily update & picture of Cooper to let us know how Cooper was doing. In the past, we always had to put Cooper in a boarding kennel where he would be caged. It was hard for us particularly because we knew his separation anxiety would make him upset and miserable. We are so glad that we found Debbie this time and that she was willing to watch Cooper at her house despite knowing Cooper's history. Debbie and her two labs made Cooper feel very welcome. We will certainly use Debbie's service again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs a loving and caring dog sitter.”

“Courtney was wonderful with Scout , I appreciated how Courtney sent us pictures & updates on how Scout was doing. We’re so happy & pleased that Scout found a new friend ~ ?????❤️”

“Buddy and I were very comfortable with Josh, his communication, his expertise and his friendly demeanor were excellent. I liked that Josh has a large backyard where the dogs can roam around. Buddy enjoyed running around with Blitzen and the other dogs although they were bigger than him, lol! I will not hesitate to utilize Josh's dog sitting services again and when he is available.”

“Sophie is so nice, gentle, accommodating, & a wonderful pup care-giver. Plus she sent an update and cute photos every day. We couldn't ask for anything more & will definitely use her again if she is available.”

“This was my first time leaving my two dogs overnight at a strangers house and I'm so glad it was with Marissa!! She both reassured the dogs, AND she also was reassuring to me - and that helped a lot. She sent me updates and photos and took really good care of my two dogs that were not at all used to staying somewhere other than my house. It felt to me like she got to know each dog personally, not just give them food and shelter for the night... I would certainly book with her again when the need arises!!”

“Both our dogs had wonderful stays. Daisy is now old and slow while Dahlia is very high energy and loves attention. They both seemed quite happy 😃”

“Apollo can be a handful with his anxiety and reactivity, and Bri handled it beautifully. They had a rocky first night, because he kept barking at every small noise. After several hours of this, he had her a bit worried about whether or not she could get him to settle down and sleep. But she stuck with it and got him to calm down and pass out. From there the visit went great. She followed our feeding and medication instructions exactly, worked on some training with him during his stay, and did a nice job with redirecting his attention when he got reactive on walks. Communication was excellent throughout. I received regular photos and updates, and she flagged any concerns as they came up rather than letting them sit. The best sign of how the weekend went: at pickup, Apollo planted himself on and between her feet multiple times while we were talking about how the weekend went. He clearly trusts and adores her, which can be difficult given his anxiety. We'll absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Our boys loved their first stay with Pat! Our George is diabetic and Pat was able to take care of his needs and keep him on schedule with his medication. They were pooped when they got home and slept all day, which is a sign of a good time!”

“Wren and her husband were such an amazing couple to leave our sweet old lady with! She sent us daily pictures and updates about Mila's stay and Mila seemed so happy during her stay, like they welcomed her directly into their family! They were super flexible with drop off and pick up times too. We would definitely book another stay with Wren again!”
“Akira had a great time with Doug! It was very comforting knowing we didn’t need to worry about her while we were away. He was very flexible with our schedule and sent us a picture every day.”

“Brian took extra care to be certain that our large exuberant dog would have a good experience with the other dogs. Our dog has come home happy and tired from his stays. Brian has been very communicative and I feel at ease with our dog being in his care.”

“Lauren was great! As someone with hyper dogs, I super happy that Lauren was able to take them to the dog park and on walks to get their zoomies out. I could tell my pups felt right at home with her. 10/10”

About: Calm, assertive energy. We’ve fostered and placed several shepherds from the animal shelter into better homes. All of our dogs that my wife wanted led us to a great pet trainer back in 2015. We went to weekly classes and learned to handle our German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois . We focus on the basics and good manners. I am retired working as System Engineering consultant part time. We spend some time in Illinois and some in New Mexico. We have freedom to interact with your pet as needed. We have fenced yard and enclosed porch with pet door. Also have separate 8 ft x 12 ft dog kennel if needed. We have various sized crates if animals need their own space.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years and have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have a Golden Retriever of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your pet like family. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, administering oral medications if needed, reinforcing routines, and providing lots of playtime, attention, and cuddles. Whether your pup is energetic and adventurous or prefers a slower pace, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work part-time remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive care throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, potty breaks, or lots of love and attention, I’ll make sure your pet gets the care, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free. “Highly recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for boarding for their fur baby/babies. She’s definitely a dog whisper and has love for all dogs. She ensures all dogs get along and takes the time to learn and understand your dog’s needs. She provided updates along with videos and pictures throughout our boarding process. Will definitely be using her again for our future boarding needs! Thanks again Rebecca for providing a fun stay for our Lovie!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sedillo
Paige and her family were so friendly and welcoming to my extremely energetic 3 year old Lab mix pup! She took my dog for 6 days and was so gracious to let us extend her stay an extra night so I could finish a project I had going on at home. Her home was so full of excitement that I don't think my dog wanted to leave! Having Paige take your dog is like sending them to summer camp. I know I made the right choice and am so grateful to have found her. I was so nervous to use Rover for the first time and Paige proved to me that there are still trustworthy people out there. The small drive from Albuquerque was well worth the trip. I'd gladly recommend her to anyone and hope we will see her again!

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Sedillo can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Sedillo.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NM ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
