“My dog has never been happier staying with someone. The entire experience increased her ability to socialize with dogs and people so much so that she's been calmer and more confident after the stay.”

“Rosalia was amazing! She kept me updated all day with messages & tons of cute pictures. My dog looked happy and loved all the cuddles given to her. Her dog Kiki was such a good girl too, she didn't mind sharing the attention. If I lived in Albuquerque, I'd totally book Rosalia everytime!”

“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. She did not seem to be in a big hurry to leave so I know she liked it. THANK YOU, MAELLEN.”

“Great sitter! Received many pictures during the pups’ time with Anne and the dogs received many walks and a lot of love. Anne has a good size backyard and the pups spent a lot of time just sniffing around everything, too. I think they get a little vacation when they are with her.”

“This is out second time going to Debbie. She is great. The dogs were very excited when we turned into her driveway. Definitely will go back to Debbie for future stays!”
“This is the first time I’ve used Rover and I really lucked out by selecting Bonni JN. as my boarder/sitter. My dog Murphy throughly enjoyed her stay, was well cared for and bonded immediately with Bonni’s dog and the two other smaller dogs she was sitting. Bonni was very thoughtful in texting me pictures of how Murphy was doing and reported to me everyday how she was eating, sleeping, and getting along with the other dogs. I will definitely be a repeat customer, in fact I have another reservation with Bonni in about a week. I highly recommend Bonni if you want peace of mind that your dog is well cared for.”

“Michael watched our fur baby for 13 days. She is approx. 14 yrs old, and we were worried about leaving her for such a long period of time. Michael's calm and easy demeanor was reassurance that she would be fine. She does not get along with other animals and as the only pet Michael watched he was able to provide her with individual attention. He sent photos daily, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely use his services again. Michael, thank you for taking such good care of our family member!”

“Cecilia was an excellent last minute sitter for my dog for the weekend. She was communicative and provided lots of photo updates each day. I know he was loved and cared for in my absence.”

“Shayna provided excellent boarding care to our dog Vinny and daily communications and pics to us. She offers a very dog-friendly environment. We highly recommend her services and will use her again.”

“Josie and her husband made our little man Yoshi feel like family. She offeted great communication and checked in with daily updates. He ate well, got daily walks, and tons of playtime and cuddles. Very dog friendly home with toys and beds galore and a large backyard to play in. Paco the resident dog is friendly and playful. I recommend Josie 100%.”

“My dog was super anxious and Crystal was so accommodating and helpful while I was away. She went above and beyond to take care of my dog and I’m incredibly grateful!”

“Mark is the BEST dog-sitting person! Our pup has special needs of taking meds for seizures. Mark took good care of him and texted updates and photos. Our dog was calm and happy after his stay with Mark. I highly recommend Mark, especially if you want kind one-on-one care for your dog.”

“This is our second time boarding our pup with Brian. As before, she had a fantastic time with her other doggo playmates. Brian is super responsive and our whole family loved the daily pics he sent. We’ll be seeing him again!”

“We could not be more grateful to have found Marlena for our first River experience! Especially on a last minute notice! Leaving our doggos with someone new is always a bit stressful, but she instantly won them (& us) over & treated our dogs like her own. Throughout the stay (overnight plus additional hours), Marlena was incredibly sincere & honest with us about how our dogs were doing. She provided detailed updates, photos & videos, we so appreciated her open communication. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such a safe, capable, & loving hands. Our dogs just loved her so much. We will absolutely be booking with Marlena again!”

“I just want to give a big thank you to Chad for accepting my last-minute request to watch my dog, Luna. It meant so much to know she was in good hands, especially on such short notice. I truly appreciate your time and the care you gave her. Thank you again for being available.”

“Emily is an extraordinary Dog Sitter whom I trust wholeheartedly. I use her almost every other month for four days or so and I am always very very satisfied. She has a gem!”

“I can't say enough good things about my pup's stay with Pat! I picked him up healthy and happy and better socialized than before! I've had my 17lb nervous whippet for 4 months. I was a bit scared to leave him for the weekend... but this was the perfect fit. He got along great with Pat's 4 doggies, which I could tell through 2x/day text updates. She even let him sleep in her bed, which he loves to do! Thank you Pat! Bingo will be back soon to see you and your pups! And btw- Pat is a lovely person- gentle, knowledgeable, flexible and kind... exactly the person you'd want caring for your furry friend.”

“August did a wonderful job caring for our girls again! They got lots of love while we were gone, which makes it easier to travel knowing they are in good hands.”

“She handled my miscreant kitties beautifully (they get to go outside and sometimes don’t come in when planned but this was not an issue with Shelly)! I returned home to happy cats and that’s what it’s all about.”

“Jessica did a fantastic job with our crazy cat Buffy. She was on time for the walk-through and made it everu day just as expected. We really appreciate her excellent work.”

“Rufus was very pleased with Sophia and requested her as his executive assistant next time I'm out of town. Sophia sent me photos and videos every day. And Rufus was cared for both physically and emotionally. Please note that Rufus is a special needs cat and that Sophia was required to give him medication as well as food and water.”
About: I’ve taken care of animals of every kind since I was 12… from dogs, to cats, to horses. I volunteered for a no kill animal shelter as a teenager where I cared for, exercised, and assisted in adoption efforts. I’m relied on by neighbors and friends to walk and care for their animals and look forward to caring for yours. Animals truly hold a special place in my heart. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me plenty of time to care for your animals. I enjoy walking and hiking in the mountains with my dogs and look forward to incorporating yours. I have a fenced yard with 2.5 acres of land. I have a section fenced off in the backyard for smaller animals. I have two friendly dogs for your animals to play with.
“Alison is amazing! I’m so thankful for her. She took good care of my kitty while I was out of town for 2 weeks. I felt totally at peace about him being home alone because I knew she’d love on him and play with him on her visits. She even kept an eye on things at my house to make sure everything was okay which eased my anxiety about being away for so long. Thanks Alison!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life from german shepherds to dachshunds . The only time I can recall not having a dog was the first couple years in the Navy because I was out to sea so much. I love dogs of all sizes! I currently have a 10 year old weimaraner of my own Ari. So your precious pup will have someone to play with while staying with me. I take my own dog on walks/hikes, to dog park, runs, and swimming when we can find water for her. For being in Navy veteran and nurse, I am responsible and will take good care of your pup. Plus, there is vet not even .25 miles from home, if something where to go array which is not likely. Can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently in masters program and working remote and essentially here all day with them. Plenty of potty breaks and walks to come. Safe friendly neighborhood I have a fenced yard and lots of easy safe walking my neighborhood. I can crate them if you prefer but they are allowed on furniture here.
About: I’ve lived with and cared for dogs all my life. In fact, my mother used to throw fits when she'd wake to find that I'd snuck out of my room at night to sleep in the dog house with the hounds! Having shared my home with more than 30 dogs of my own, I have fostered close more than 50, most recently senior, special needs, and medically fragile dogs. I also transport rescue dogs once a month from Texas to Utah. If you have dogs with special needs, medical issues, or healthy dogs, I'll take care of them with skill, patience, and love. Boarding or Day Care: While I'm happy to take all dogs over 25 lbs, I have an affinity for large, XL, and giant dogs. My home has XXL dog doors, dog beds, and 3 acres of fenced yard.
“Shantae was awesome! Filled in last minute to watch my cat and took wonderful care of her. She sent plenty of pictures/updates and returned the house in immaculate condition. Highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of animals as far back as a kid. I was the neighbor who loved other people's fur kids. Through the years I have traveled being a military spouse and I was the spouse who always took in others' pets while they went on vacations or work-related trips. I have also done volunteer work at shelters and been a foster parent for dogs/cats when needed. I spent some time in Tanzania one summer and quickly became the cow and chicken whisperer at an orphanage I volunteered at. I am able to do drop-in or babysit your fur kids at my home; as I am always home. I am currently a full-time online college student and do not currently work. In the past years, I have done a lot of volunteer work with shelters and was an educational assistant to special needs kids in the public school system. Cats and dogs are welcome in my home, and I have dog/cat beds available for their comfort. I also have three small dogs of my own that are super dog and cat friendly. We also have a seven-month-old kitten we adopted and he does well with other cats and dogs. I do not have a gated fence, as mine are trained to stay in the yard. I can take other pets out on a leash and walk for potty breaks. We have 7 acres. For drop-ins, I can feed, water, and walk your pets. I also do clean up after them and spend time playing and loving on your pets too.
About: I have been pet sitting since my early teens watching all my neighbors' animals. I've always been an animal lover and you can see it quickly in how your animals will respond to meeting me! I've adopted several dogs and cats in my time, and I am well versed in dealing with most conditions, including giving medication to an unhappy pet. My pet services aren't just about making sure your pet is alive, feed, and pottied. Their emotional well-being is just as important to me and I take the time to play and get to know each of my pet clients. I currently am a stay at home mom and am available to check in on your pets throughout the day and evening as needed throughout the week. I'd love to have continuous clients so that I can better serve you and your pets as I get to know them each better! The services offered by me would be in your home (aka your pet's safe space) or on walks in nearby neighborhoods or parks. I will take the time to make sure your pet is played and socialized in the manner they are most used to!

“Amazing amazing amazing ! Very amazing communication and stormy absolutely loves her and her daughter ! The space is amazing for pets and love how many updates she gave”

“Kimberly was easy to book a Meet and Greet and also my Doggy Day Care. Going back to the office more, I felt bad leaving Sadie home all day by herself, so I figured a play day every now and then help. But I was worried, because Sadie has lots of energy and just wants to play when she's with other dogs. Kimberly made me feel very comfortable letting Sadie stay with her. My Sadie must have played hard with her Ridgebacks because she was exhausted when I got her home. She only got up to eat and back to sleep. Haha. Just what I wanted. Kimberly even gave her a homemade doggie popsicle, which she seemed to love. I would definitely book again. Thanks Kimberly!”

About: I can stay at your home or I can board your pets at my home (boarding only if you have small lap dogs). For boarding, I keep your pets indoors with our pets in our personal living space so your pets should be clean, house-broken, and tolerant of children. We have a very clean home with mostly red brick tile throughout (except for the bedrooms which have white carpet). We have a small doggie door which enters into a small fenced area (4'x12') for self-potty breaks while we are at work (if your dogs know how to use a doggie door). We can also close this door if your dog is an escape artist. Our home is located in the east mountains off the Zuzax exit (about 15 minutes from Tramway Blvd). We both work (I have summers off) so we come to Albuquerque every day via I-40 and would be happy to pick up your pet at a meeting location if the drive is a pain for you. We have a huge horse barn and several acres as our backyard. We have a mini-horse, three mini goats, three chickens, two small dogs, and a cat. Why is my rate so reasonable you ask? Because we don't do this to make a living. Getting to care for other peoples furry children brings much happiness & joy to our lives too. If it was a pain in the rear, we'd charge much much more. But it's not, it's a treat for us. I also automatically donate 5% of my pet sitting fee's to K9's for Warriors via Rover.com. K9's for Warriors provides service canines to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service. About this sitter: I'm a married mother of two children, and many animal children. I work full-time as a social worker. Caring for pets is a natural extension of my care of humans. Why I love dog sitting: I've been a dog lover since I was little. My families Norwegian Elkhound had puppies when I was 2 years old and I have pictures of my twin sister and I being so in love with them and carrying them everywhere we went. When I was 19, I bought a dog book and combed the pages looking for my best K-9 match. I ended up getting a Shih Tzu and a Brussels Griffon. 20 years later, we now have Budrow, my 14 year old Norfolk Terrier mix, Gracie, my 2 year old mini-Australian Sheppard/mini-Poodle mix, and a 4 year old sweet long hair female cat named Aphrodite. They are all best buddies and they enjoy having furry houseguests. Meet my pets: We have one mini-horse, three mini-goats, three chickens, 2 small dogs, and a cat. About my yard: We have a huge backyard (5 acres), some areas are fenced some are not. If your dogs are diggers, I'd worry that they might get into the chicken coop or the goat area. We do not want to host large outdoor dogs at this time, until we get proper sturdy fencing around the entire property. We are currently only hosting indoor lap dogs at this time. My experience administering medication: Yes, I will administer medication (including shots) unless a dog bites or gets squirrely. I accommodate your pets needs around my work schedule. In the Fall or Spring I occasionally have my teenagers sports events or meets to attend. I treat you pets like my own and if I’m caring for your pets in my own home they will be included in my regular life, living room time (sunning windows, movie nights on the couch, etc), grass time, playtime, sleep time, etc.
“Daycare with James was awesome! My dog Addie was very comfortable at his house and I could tell she really enjoyed being around him. James was quick to respond to any of my questions and I will definitely be booking him for daycare again soon!”

“My girl Luna had a great time with Lwren and her husband. She spent 6-1/2 hours at their home. Felt very good about leaving her in their care. Luna is young and energetic. They did a great job of walking her and playing with her. We will be repeat customers!”

“Michael was very helpful and accommodating. I believe he did his best with Rocco to keep him occupied. Rocco has separation anxiety, but Michael made the efforts to gain his trust in a limited timeframe. We were very appreciative with his services!”

“Celeste was warm, friendly, and kind with Oreo, who is still getting used to doggy daycare. She made sure Oreo felt comfortable. Her dog Murphy was as gentle and welcoming, which really helped Oreo adjust. I’m super grateful for the care and looking forward to having Oreo stay with Celeste and Murphy again. Thank you!”

“Holly and Robert were fantastic! They responded quickly, took him last minute and they had other dogs that my dog loved playing with. I will be going to them again.”

“I had such peace of mind leaving my dog with Charles for doggy daycare. Charles updated me regularly with photos and accommodated my variable drop off and pick up times. I will definitely utilize Charles again!”
“When I had Adam & Indy watch my dogs for the second time, my dogs and Indy were so happy to see eachother again like they missed eachother and one of my dogs even jumped on the couch to sit next to Adam to say hi. Clearly they were well taken care of and have new great friends! Definitely recommend Adam!!”

About: I am retired and a animal lover with experience caring for puppies, seniors, rescues, and giant breeds. Reliable, patient care in a safe, pet-friendly environment. I am currently retired from government work and a non profit career. I retired very young and I am very active, loving nature and walking. I have two very large dog runs with dog houses in each. My pets are both indoors at night and in their dog run daily.

About: I have lots of flexibility throughout the day and on the weekends. I’m a proud fur mama of a 4 year old Shih Tzu. She’s very well behaved and loves other animals and people. We don’t have any other children or pets so when I pet sit she gets the opportunity to play with her friends at home. We have an open home where the dogs are free to roam around or in and out of the house to our gated and secure backyard. I wanted to become a sitter for a couple reasons. I know what its like looking for a dog sitter myself. It’s hard to know who to trust with our fury family members. I’m responsible, reliable, and most importantly I have integrity. My other reason is because, I enjoy it! I work part time as a Registered Nurse. If I have accepted to care for your dog in my home that is because I will be home all day to care for your furry friend. I will have time to play with them, take them for walks, and give them the attention they need. Safety is number one in my book. My home is clean and free of clutter. Pets are free to play in our secured and large fenced areas and watched carefully.

Guest is 8 pounds or under and has a non-aggressive disposition. Will walk Will meet prior to booking. Will medicate if provided current prescription bottle with directions. Can pick-up and drop off Minimum 1 night up to 7 (exceptions considered) Your place: All visits, number and size of pups as well as your location are considered after an on-site meet and greet. Please note: Due to a high amount of cancellations, please note there is a 7 day notification period to receive complete refund. I am 100% retired and a dog lover. I will provide your fur babies with all my attention, love and care! Please see my reviews from past clients. Your fur baby will be treated as if my own. Not all dog owners understand the attention and care they need or how close we are to our sweet babies.

About: I have owned dogs all of my life and understand that they are family members and should be treated as such! I love all dogs from big to small and young to old. While I do not have any pets of my own right now, I would love to help care for yours whether it be feeding, walking, playing, loving on them or more. I am currently off for the summer leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets. From August to May, I work 2 days a week so I will still have plenty of availability. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I cared for all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to goats and chickens. Today, I share my home with three dogs and three cats, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find a pet sitter you can trust. I know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles or just a calm companion, I’m committed to giving them the attention and care they deserve. I treat every animal like family because that’s exactly what they are. I currently work remote with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care throughout the day. Since I can work from almost anywhere with my laptop, I have the flexibility to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, and check-ins as needed. I am typically available in the afternoons and evenings for longer walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine and ensuring they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away. When caring for pets in a clients home, my top priorities are safety, consistency, and making sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pets routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I treat every home with the same respect I would expect for my own. During visits, I ensure pets have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and affection, and that doors, gates, and other potential hazards are secure before I leave. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand that trust is incredibly important, and I strive to provide dependable, attentive care for every pet I meet.
“Svetlana was punctual and great with our dogs. I loved the updates and photos she sent during their walks. We appreciate having her nearby and potentially available even for last minute care or walks.”

I am currently retired from government work and a non profit career. I retired very young and I am very active, loving nature and walking. I have two very large dog runs with dog houses in each. My pets are both indoors at night and in their dog run daily.
About: As a 60 year old I have had dogs my whole life. I love dogs and enjoy treating the ones I sit or care for as my own. I have a small house so am looking for one dog at a time. I will happily come to your home in the East Mountains to feed, play with/walk your pets as well. I have been a Rover sitter for 6 yrs and took a break for a couple. Now I am ready to start caring for dogs once again. I work at home and I have the freedom to come to your house to feed, let your dog out, take your dog for a walk, play and of course give lots of attention. Or if your pet is my house, I can fit in playtime, walks throughout the day, pets, snuggles, etc. Even though our yard is fenced, I will never let your dog off leash. I will be attentive when we are outside so that he/she does not run off, run after wildlife, or get into any mischief. We have cactus in the yard and I will be diligent in keeping your pet away from them! I will treat your pet as my own.
About: I have cared for an array of animals over the years including dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens and even pet rats! I deeply enjoy time spent with animals which is why housesitting has always been ideal for me! I myself have multiple dogs and cats that are well cared for and your animals will receive the same attention and care! I am a student at UNM, so most morning I do have to head to campus around 9-10 am. All morning care would be handled before then. My classes have me on campus no longer than 4-5 hours before I would be able to check on your animals. Weekends I work 6-9 hour shifts, but if care requires less gaps between visits this time can be taken off to give your pets around the clock care. This would require at minimum 2 weeks notice and cannot be guaranteed. I am comfortable giving pill or liquid medication for your pets. As well as walking any size dog as long as some leash training is in place. I normally will wash the sheets and towels used if staying overnight! I am very cleanly and will leave your home and pets clean or cleaner than when yall left!

About: Hi! My name is Maggie and I would love the opportunity to take care of your dog or kitty!! My husband and I have 2 large dogs (German Shepherd - Border Collie mix named Kuzco, and a Lab mix puppy named Jamie - I am obsessed with them!), I also have a huge soft spot for kitties as I grew up in a household of 3 cats, and we hope to adopt a cat soon! I have experience volunteering at a shelter focusing on socializing the cats, as well as experience pet-sitting for both dogs and cats, and I worked as a dog walker for 2 poodles throughout my childhood.I love playing with cats and dogs, taking our dogs to the dog park, training Jamie, and especially taking long walks with the 3 of us together! I am mature, responsible, and communicative, and I am committed to taking care of your pet as I would take care of my own! I work close to home and I am available in mornings and afternoons / evenings for pet care, I am also usually available on weekends. I love to take buddies out for a good solid walk, play with your kitty or pup, and of course, give all the snuggles (unless you let me know otherwise!).

“My dog has never been happier staying with someone. The entire experience increased her ability to socialize with dogs and people so much so that she's been calmer and more confident after the stay.”

“This is out second time going to Debbie. She is great. The dogs were very excited when we turned into her driveway. Definitely will go back to Debbie for future stays!”

“She’ll was great with our dogs . She was very concerned when they wouldn’t eat and made them food with chicken broth to get them to eat since they were home sick. She had our babies for a week. “Onrae did such an amazing dog watching my dog while I was gone for two weeks. The ask was rather sudden and he made me feel at ease. My dog recently had surgery and he took great of him. He constantly sent photos and updates. I feel really great knowing that I (and my dog :)) can trust his services. Could not recommend enough. Thank you!!”

“My girls were so happy when I picked them up. Celeste took them on long walks, which is their favorite thing. I will be taking them back to Celeste!”

“Doug was so easy to work with and accommodating. My dogs had a lovely time with him. Even though one of my girls got sick with tummy troubles a couple of days before the stay, he agreed to still watch all 3. Stellar experience overall”

“We love Crystal! Our three dogs are always so happy to see Crystal, her husband and their two dogs when they go over. Always makes us so happy when our dogs are so happy to be back at Crystal’s house. We always get updates and cute stories, photos, or videos that we appreciate. Crystal is so conscientious and ensures your dog’s well being, safety, and happiness when your pups stay with her! She’s become a regular sitter for us and we feel so lucky!”
