About: I grew up with dogs and have always and one or two to take care of. They are so fun to play with and I enjoy seeing the different quirks in each animal I’ve worked with. I’m available for daily walks, or drop-ins in the morning, afternoon, and early evenings from 7 am to 7 pm. My schedule is flexible and negotiable. I ensure my dogs are fed, entertained, and that they get a good amount of outside time. If it’s hot outside, then I will make sure to mind the temperature of the concrete and bring them in or play in a patch of grass.

About: I’m currently a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Environmental Studies and Political Science! I grew up taking care of family pets such as dogs, cats, horses, and goats, which was my initial introduction to the animal world. Beyond this, I spent many years volunteering at rescues to learn about caring for animals with particular behavioral and medical needs. I’ve gained invaluable experience through rehabilitating animals and have tried to advocate for animal welfare whenever possible in my daily life. Since starting my degree, I’ve house-sat and pet-sat on multiple occasions for periods up to a month in length. I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of animals and understand the importance of care done correctly. I’m happy to accommodate specific requests and prioritize pet well-being above all else! I'm a full-time student, so I will have several classes every day beginning in late August. However, this schedule could easily accommodate visits to the house throughout the day for potty breaks or other animal needs. I'm able to manage morning and night care, along with 1-2 visits throughout the day. I'm also available with greater flexibility on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for drop-in visits, walking, and house-sitting. Depending on owner and pet needs, we can work out a schedule to suit everyone! In my client's home, I try to maximize time spent with the animals by sitting in communal spaces and interacting with them whenever possible. I'm a patient and flexible person, so the process of learning an animal's routine and behaviors is a fun challenge for me! I also complete necessary tasks like feeding, watering, walking, grooming, etc.

I am able to come to your home before work, on my lunch break, and after work to check in, give potty breaks, or take for a walk. Weekends are wide open. I can occasionally stay overnight with them. I know animals are family too and I intend to treat them that way. You can feel comfortable while you are away, and they are in my care.

I first enjoyed our face to face here at my home and was able to see how she was with Yoshi and show her around. Kaitlyn was a great communicator and took steps to make sure that communication was clear and we were both on the same page throughout the process. She paid attention to details and asked questions when she needed to. After the trip, Yoshi was not even very happy to see me?!?!? I can't think of anything she could have done to make it more purrrfect for ME or Yoshi! She has to be THE best animal caregiver out there.
