About: Hi there! I relocated to the 30A area this past spring from Colorado, where I was previously offering my animal care services. I look forward to continuing to connect with new individuals & families here that are seeking quality care for their beloved pets! Feel free to reach out with any questions. I am currently available for housesitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Please note that for housesitting jobs I do need to bring my 13 year old chocolate lab along with me. His profile is available to check out at the bottom of my page :) I have been offering animal care services for several years now and I truly enjoy it so much! Animals have always been a part of my life. From growing up with them, to caring for pets of friends and family, to offering my care as a service on this platform since ‘22; I have a wide range of experience with different breeds, needs, ages, and personalities. I also have a 13 year old chocolate Labrador of my own named Paxson, who I have had the joy of living life with since he was 7 weeks old! With all of my experience of caring for different animals and raising my own, I am very confident in my ability to take wonderful care of yours :) I have a flexible schedule which allows me to prioritize my time and attention towards taking good care of the pet(s) I am looking after. Pet parents can expect that if I am available for a booking that I will be all in with your animals! I always inquire about routines, specific instructions and if there is anything else I may need to know in order to ensure the best care for your pet(s). It is important to me to help keep their daily routines as normal as possible, and to be aware of anything I may need to look out for to ensure their safety and wellbeing while in my care.
“I really appreciate Madeline's daily drop-ins to feed and check on my cat. I can travel for a few days and not have to worry about leaving my cat at home. And my cat loves her!”

“Cassidy is genuinely a great person and awesome cat sitter! She makes you feel like you’re one of her best friends by greeting you with a smile and hug. You can tell she puts a lot of love and effort into making sure your pets are cared for. I never felt anxious or stressed knowing my two cats were being watched by her. Both of my cats ended up cuddling with her and absolutely loving her. And they don’t cuddle just anyone!! She sent a good amount of detailed updates with adorable photos of my cats. She even went out of her way to wash her own bedsheets and towels and she took out the trash without me even asking her to do that! She’s truly a hard working and loving person who is very easy to communicate with. I will continue to use her for future pet sitting needs. Thank you for everything Cassidy :)”

“Paulina was great with our cats! She was very communicative and timely, and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy. We have a more shy cat that Paulina made sure was comfortable, and she made them pillow forts to play in! She also took great care of our fish :) would definitely recommend Paulina!”

“Our fur babies were happy and content when we arrived home, as opposed to stressed. They are very shy with a new person, and the fact that Emily spotted one of our indoor babies tells us that she went out of her way to do a little looking. We will definitely use her services again!”

About: I’m looking to care for a Rottweiler they are my favorite breed I have extensive experience working with a wide variety of animals, including more challenging breeds such as wolf hybrids. One of my most rewarding experiences was training a wolf hybrid from the ground up. When I started, he had no basic commands and struggled with behaviors like jumping on people. Through consistent training, structure, and trust-building, I was able to teach him commands such as sit, lay down, spin, and reliable recall. I also successfully corrected his jumping behavior, which was especially important given his size and strength. I currently have a full time job at AT&T but I am looking to hopefully get out of the normal 9-5 I have a side job that produces decent income but I don’t feel completely comfortable leaving my 9-5 just yet. You know bills I believe respect is one of the most important things about being a pet parent. One must be disciplined and thoughtful when caring for animals! I simple don’t treat them as just a dog but my as individual with a personality.
About: I’ve always had a dog. I love the outdoors and walk my own dog 3-4 times a day! I also have had bathing and grooming training. I am currently a wife and stay at home dog & kitten mom. I have plenty of time attention, and love to give to your fur babies! I have one dog of my own and a great yard. I will always provide the care and love you want for your furry family member.
“I cannot recommend this sitter enough! We needed last-minute help with our cat, and she went above and beyond. She took amazing care of our cat, cleaned up after her, and made sure everything was taken care of while we were away. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and complete peace of mind. We’re so grateful for her help and will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you!”

“I love Charlie. I never used a service before to take care of my 4 cats. Charlie was very helpful in the process and made it so easy. My cats are very timid and shy, she made sure she located them all to see if they were all doing good. She also sent me pitchers of them while I was away, which I loved. I would highly recommend her since I will be using her services in the future.”

“Isabella was amazing with Murphy! She was flexible with my schedule and a reliable sitter for Murphy! I really appreciated her help and I know Murphy enjoyed playing with her!”

About: Hi there! I’m an Alaqua Animal Refuge approved foster momma! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family, not just a booking. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away — whether that means structured walks, playtime, or plenty of snuggles on the couch. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing because I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your best friend. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely and provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel reassured. My goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets and owners who feel completely at ease while they’re away.

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! She was always punctual, communicated consistently, and took excellent care of Finny. She kept his litter box and feeding area clean, and it was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and would gladly book with her again. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
