About: I am an experienced dog walker, I know how to administer medications, clean litter boxes, and provide loving and stimulating attention to all animals ! I am free to take care of pets from morning until night Mondays through Thursdays! For overnight sitting I am available weekdays as well as Fridays and weekends. I am a very loving and attentive cat and dog mother. I couldn’t live without my babies and I will treat each pet I watch like my own!

About: My previous dog was a border collie so I am well versed in training energetic pups who want jobs. Clients have told me that their pup comes home better behaved than when they were dropped off! I tend to garden and do alot of work in my garage so your pup will join me in those spaces as well as walks up throughout the neighborhood and at the local park to meet other pups. I often try to schedule walks with neighbor’s doggies so we can walk together to socialize both humans and canine. If you need additional references, I am more than happy to provide some from previous clients. I look forward to spending time with your buddy! Hope to see you both soon. I now have a sweet rescue puppy I fostered then adopted who loves to play. She stops at the street corner for me to say she can cross. She can do “down” at a distance and will stay until released even when she does not have me in view. I work from home so have plenty of time to interact and just be there for my girl and your pup. We love going to beach park and swimming. My yard is fenced. There is a front and back yard so they can have plenty of outside time even at home. I also live close to parks where pups can romp.

About: I was a veterinary technician for almost 13 years. I worked with large and small animals. I also groomed animals for 4 years. I owned and ran my grooming business out of my home in St. Helena. I am a CSR at a vet hospital in Fairfax. I need to be home to care for my mother who is having health struggles so looking for more work closer to home. I am caring for my mother at home. I have lots of free time to fit in my schedule for walks, visiting homes and checking on all kinds of pets. I am open to exotics also. My boarding prices include one large area/room that is nice and cool and has room for bedding, toys, and whatever your pet desires. This room has access to a multi-level backyard. The animals are closed inside at night. Dogs also receive one 30 minute walk out of the home a day. Extra walks will be charged at $25 per walk. Cats stay in a room separate from dogs with all their amenities and will not leave this room during their stay. If your cat is leashed trained and you require walks please let me know know and we can talk about wether it is possible. I am a retired veterinary technician. I am educated in safety and health for animals. The pets in my home are loved and cared for individually. You can go on your trips knowing your animals are safe and cared for with a vet nurse. I am also willing to come by houses and visit. I will not do over night stays, but doggies/cats/exotics are welcome to stay overnight here at my home. When you leave your pet with me you will receive multiple pictures through out your pets stay and you will have full communication from me at all times. All dogs are required to have been vaccinated with Rabies, dhp, and bordetella. Cats should be vaccinated with Rabies, fvr-cp and leukemia. All animals that acquire fleas must be on a flea product. If they are not I will provide the flea dose but you will be charged accordingly for that dose. These requirements are for the safety of the animals in my home and in my neighborhood. Thank you for understanding.

“Edward did a fantastic job with our two cats and two dogs. All of them with unique personalities - surprisingly, the rescue dog with the more severe history of issues and distrust (especially of strange men) acclimated right away to Edward! The cats live in a separate ADU structure annd anre indoor pets. They also warmed up to Edward quickly. I can say, without hesitation, that I would and will recommend Edward to others. We will definitely look to work with him again!”

About: Dogs are very special to me and I adore them. Throughout my daughter’s lives, we have cared for about ten dogs. I also have experience taking care of my client’s dogs as well as their neighbors. I am very trustworthy and make a promise to take care of your dogs or any pets to the best of my ability. I am self-employed at the moment and would be willing to work during the week and weekends as well if needed. I can work in the mornings on the weekends, 8am. On weekdays, I am available anytime. I care for pets in a client’s home by checking in with the family and making sure their pet is not able to escape their property. I also make sure by checking if the dogs have plenty of water and if they need to be fed.

“Carlee was wonderful. Normally my requests are for overnights but so glad she was able to do a drop in for this shorter trip. She is always such a good communicator and so reliable. Thanks, Carlee!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life - raised dogs since I was six and had two cats since I was about eight. I regularly help friends, family, and neighbors with pet care, whether it’s daily walks, feeding, or just keeping their pets company. I enjoy taking dogs to the park or beach, and I’m comfortable with everything from young puppies to older pets. I treat every animal I watch with the same attention and care I give my own. I work part-time and finish around 2:30 on weekdays, so I’m available most afternoons and evenings. I’m also free on weekends for drop-ins, walks, or overnight care at your home. I only offer care in your home to make sure your pet stays comfortable in a familiar environment. I’m respectful of your space, follow any routines you have in place, and always make sure your pet feels safe and cared for.

About: I have been watching my sisters and neighbors fur babies for years. They rely on me when they travel for work or go on vacation. I have watched multiple cats and dogs as well as administered a hydration IV for a senior cat. I am loving and kind and will treat your fur babies like my own. I have a tuxedo kitty named Tucker and an Australian Shepherd named Harley, I will always make time for playtime and extra snuggles and pets. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible and open. I can come at a time that is best for you. If you need a consistent schedule, I am able to do that. Our dog Harley is crated trained and plays indoors and outdoors in our fenced backyard.. She is walked on a leash daily and I check for ticks and foxtails after each walk. I completely puppy proofed the house when we adopted her. Tucker is an indoor cat and I keep up on his brushing to reduce his fur balls. I put his feather wand up high when I’m not at home so it’s safer for him. I play with him every day with the feather wand to get exercise and interaction. I know which flowers are not good for pets so we do not bring those into our home.

“To Whom It May Concern, I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation for Amy Shaw, who has been our trusted cat sitter for several years. Amy is simply the best—caring, responsible, and truly gifted when it comes to caring for animals. Our cat, Peter, is elderly at 17 years old and requires special care, including daily subcutaneous IV fluids. Amy has consistently provided this delicate care with gentle precision, deep compassion, and calm confidence. She has earned Peter’s complete trust—and ours as well. Amy is always dependable and highly responsive. She keeps us updated with photos and messages while we’re away, and she’s proactive in her communication, never hesitating to reach out with questions or observations. Knowing she is in our home gives us complete peace of mind; we know both Peter and our house are in the very best hands. It’s clear that animals adore Amy, and she returns that love tenfold. We feel incredibly lucky to have her in our lives and cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone seeking loving and reliable pet care. -Abbie”
