Her Boston Terrier plays very nicely with others. Our Lab got lots of love and attention from Sophie, including regular walks in the low-traffic neighborhood near Dominican U. It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Growing up my family always had dogs of all sizes. My husband and sons are also big animal lovers and look forward to the day that we’ll have our own family dog. We travel a lot which makes it difficult to be a full time pet owner. In the meantime, I’d love to host and temporarily "adopt your dog" as our own. Dogs that stay with me will get plenty of love and exercise. I also have a very large yard that backs up to a park, allowing for quick and easy walks. Although my family will be present, I will always be the one responsible for your dog. When I care for your dog, I hope it will feel like your dog's home away from home. I work from home, making pet care easy to manage during breaks from work. I have a large backyard and access to a private park, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. I am flexible, so I can help maintain the schedule that your dog is accustomed to for meals and walks. I have a lot of space and can be flexible to what your dog needs. I don’t let dogs on the furniture. If I’m traveling to you or taking your dog to a local park for a walk, I have an SUV that will allow me to transport him/her. My children would not be with your dog unsupervised.

“Jeanette and her family took care of our 3 dogs for 6 days so I can bring my kids for their spring break vacation. It was there first time to stay in a sitter’s house. My daughter who is the one mostly takes care of the dogs will not agree to go to our vacation if we can’t find a good dog sitter. We had a bad experience in the past when we put Coco in a sitter and he seemed to be was not given good care and will not give us updates. But when my daughter saw Janette and family, she was already at ease and told me, “ I already trust them, mom! I had the same feeling when I saw them, I can see that they are very experienced with taking care of dogs and I felt that they can handle our fur babies. Our dogs are not professionally trained and all but they are good dogs but they have different personalities. I will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Kushram exceeded our expectations while boarding our three-year-old French Bulldog, Wizzy, over the holidays. We were understandably nervous about leaving Wizzy with an unfamiliar family for an extended 17-day stay, especially since it was her first time being boarded. Kushram immediately put us at ease by inviting us to a meet-and-greet before the boarding began. We had the pleasure of meeting his family, visiting their lovely home, and seeing the environment where Wizzy would be staying. This experience helped us build trust right from the start. Throughout our 17-day vacation, Kushram consistently sent videos and photos, along with thoughtful updates on Wizzy’s health and well-being. He was incredibly responsive via text and conversations, always replying within the hour. When we picked Wizzy up, all of her belongings were beautifully cleaned, organized, and packed—nothing missing, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the service was top-tier. She did a wonderful job during the drop in visits twice a day with Baron Von Bubbles including administrating insulin shots, giving medicine, feeding, scooping the litter & giving him fresh water. I've been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I've always had at least 2-3 dogs at-home, at all times. These dogs have either stayed for just the day, overnight, or have boarded with me, the longest-boarding being 2-3 months with a German-Shepherd rescue, and we always have a blast. We always seek to find a routine so as to calm any boredom or stress throughout each day! We play, take walks, hang out in the grass yard / property, and go on 1-3 miles hikes in the local area! I love to spoil every dog I have the pleasure to be around, take scenic walks, and of course taking lots and lots of pictures. Daytime Adventures: Available most weeks days (7am-4pm, pickup or drop off) to take your pup on a hike, play yard games, and practice new skills. Sitting and Boarding: Kainoa and Carly are available for night and weekend sitting or longer-term boarding with 1 week advance notice. We live on a large property with a fenced-in yard, lush green-pasture for playtime, and complete with a shaded (puppy-proof) deck! I have no problem with crate-training, my goal is to give your pet what they need to be settled, calm, happy, curious, and playful… and then to give them lots of love and cuddles and kisses!

“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I have grown up with pets my entire life, from large dogs (Golden Retriever, Labrador) and walking/feeding them everyday. To multiple cats at once, and other common pets. I pet sat for neighbors and family with a variety of pets: dogs, and cats. Including a cat that required twice a day insulin shots. Currently in my free time I volunteer as a shelter dog walker for Marin Humane. I am currently working from home and have plenty of time for walks, fetch, or just to hang out with your pet. Will be out of the house for a couple hours on Saturdays. I do not have a yard, but there are many great spots nearby for walks or hikes. I can also be flexible to the dogs schedule (food/walks). And since I work from home I can provide them with attention or a potty break at a moments notice.
