About: I have had dogs in my life since childhood. I can't imagine life without them. As my senior dog ages, I see myself caring for others pets. I work part time when it fits my schedule. About: I am a Psychology and Social Work student in my masters and I love animals. I specialize in animals who are seniors, or have special needs. Specifically, animals that require gentle care and a calm demeanor. I have 2 cats, fish, and an aquatic turtle. I have and cared for pit bulls, boxers, labs, Jack Russells, and a mini pincher. About: I’m one of the only people that could take care of my one friends dog because it was very mean. I stay at peoples house to watch their pets or just stop in throughout the day. I currently work full time, I go before work and then after work. If I’m not staying the night I go again before bed time. If I’m staying I go after work and then either get dinner or make dinner then stay for the night. When I’m taking care of others pets I do as if they are my own. I make sure they are happy, healthy, eating, drinking and doing their business. If something seems off I will inform the client to make sure it is normal for them. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
