Dog Walkers in Scotland, PA

About: I grew up caring, training and assisting in raising German Shepherds since I was 5 yrs old. I trained my first German Shepherd at age 11 and placed second in obedience and showmanship competition. Have also grown up with having a cat. Been in charge of taking care of neighbors dogs, cats, horses and cows since I was 12. Throughout the years I have taken care of dogs from birth to elderly. I also have one year of experience working at a vet clinic and have been a certified barn manager (I didn't pay to renew my certification). Thus, I am familiar with various care and prevention strategies for all kinds of animals. I am currently an occupational therapist; thus, I am mainly available on the weekends with a semi-flexible schedule. Reach out to me and we will discuss the details and see if there is something that can work for both of us. If I am unavailable for the weekend, I try to have it updated on my calendar. In taking dogs on walks I am careful to avoid walking near other dogs and observe surroundings that may cause an issue. I also pay attention to behavior factors such if the dog is showing beginning signs of getting hot or tired.

About: I love dogs, cats, lizards, and everything in between! I’ve grown up with them my whole life and have taken care of them as well. I currently have 2 dogs myself, a lab and a poodle. I’ve done paid pet sitting a few times for family friends and neighbors, staying overnight at their homes and caring for their animals while they’re away.😊 I work part-time at a jewelry store, as well as substituting occasionally at a preschool during the day. I’m always available for overnight. Unfortunately my dogs would not like another dog or cat in my home, but I’m happy to go to yours! I’m comfortable with you having cameras to check on your fur babies and I can check in during the day, play with them, and sleepover with them 😊

I would love to check in on your kitties or take your gentle, well trained pups for a walk. While at your home, I will care for your pet(s) as we have discussed during the meet & greet. I will get to know your pet(s) personally while spending time with them and care for them as if they are my own. Special needs & administering medicine are not a problem. I enjoy walking leash trained dogs, playing with them and cuddles as well as head boops & cuddles with cats too. I am comfortable with the care of most common household pets, including feeding, cleaning, and routine care.

About: I have always loved animals and helped take care of them since I was young. I'm responsible and reliable and you won't have to worry about your pets! I'm a full time mom but have plenty of time to check up on your animals! I have alot of availability and will be on time! I take care of my daughters dog during the week. I take her on walks and take her out multiple times a day. I provide drop in visits where I love on all the pets!

About: I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life. I have raised and trained two service dogs. We now have a rescue and have gained experience with skittish, anxious dogs. I work full time as an occupational therapist. I am available most weekends for sitting in my home. My name is Amanda V., I am a fulltime fur and non fur Mom, as I have made the jump to make this a full time job! I have two non-fur children ages 10 and 13 , my fur children consist of three kitties babies ages 17-15- 10 and two fluffy doggos ages 5 & 3, and an amazing husband who shares my love of animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals both indoors and outdoors animals. My grandparents owned a farm so I have experience with many farm animals, and growing up we had two dogs, multiple cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I have helped care for and watch others fur/feathered/scaley babies since as long as I can remember. I am not medically certified in anyway, but have extensive knowledge of medicines, administering medicines, CPR, and First AID. I am constantly researching behavior/training methods, daily food/treat quality, and grooming techniques. My dream has always been to work in the animal care field, especially grooming. I currently own my own pet dryer along with various grooming tools, and if wanted I can obtain the knowledge for grooming your fur baby. As for now we live in town, in a quiet neighborhood, with ample room for your fur baby to join our family if you choose to have me care for them in home. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I love taking care of them. I can care for all types and sizes. I would treat your animal like they are my own. I do plan on going in to a vet tech program very soon. So I would be able to give care if needed. I currently do not work. So I have plenty of type to take care of your animals. I tend to wake up pretty early, so I would be able to let your animals out early in the morning. I can care for your pet in the way that feels the most comfortable to you. If you would rather them stay out of crates and me play with them or if you want them in a crate. It is all up to you and I will treat them however you want me to.
