“Daisy had an excellent time with Deirdre and her pets. She made lots of friends and got plenty of exercise having fun with her new friends. Deirdre had a meet and greet with our dog (Daisy) before we went away on vacation. Daisy met one of Deirdre's dogs and played for a bit while we talked about how Daisy's stay would go. While on vacation I text a couple times to check up on Daisy. Deirdre texted me back and let me know she was doing good. When we came back to pick up Daisy. Deirdre let us know how things went and everything went very well. Deirdre is very experienced with dogs. She trains them and shows them. She definitely knows what she doing and took very good care of our dog and we are very thankful for that”

“Megan provided excellent and compassionate care for my American Bully, Kash while I was visiting the area from out of town. She communicated promptly and effectively and sent photos and updates throughout the weekend. I was so nervous having my pup boarded out of town for the first time, but felt that he was genuinely loved and cared for while there. After playing with Meagan's two dogs on her beautiful country property for a weekend, Kash returned to me safe, happy, and utterly exhausted!”

As well Mayra loves playing little games with the doggies she sent me a video of my Milo playing the game and doing so well! “Our Rusty will not go to many people but on our meet & greet he went right to Lorraine and her husband we knew he had trust in them and that made us very comfortable. He also buddied right up to Koko. On his stay with Lorraine we found that she responded to us instantly with a text when we checked in on him. We feel that it was a very good decision to pick Lorraine as Rusty's sitter and have already scheduled another long weekend with her.”

“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

“Lynnea took such great care of our girl, Piper! She posted pictures and videos of her regularly to give us peace of mind. I love the set up - a large fenced yard to run around, a covered patio to get out of the sun, and the "suite" where Piper slept. Lynnea's own dog, Ruger is a sweetheart. 💙 I have already asked Lynnea about day care for Piper to play and socialize with other dogs. We will definitely ask Lynnea to watch Piper again!”
