“As many reviewers mentioned, Jessica & Matt are very dependable, flexible, caring, patient, and professional dog sitters that I would recommend to anyone who looks for dog sitting. Our hi-energetic two years old lab Pluto stayed with them for 3 long weeks, and during his stay, Jessica & Matt kept me in the loop with lots of photos & communications through text messages. I’m so blessed to have found them for Pluto!! I live an hour away (one-way) from Jessica & Matt, but two hours (round trip) are so worth driving for awesome sitters!! ❤️?”

“Janet is awesome. I felt very comfortable with her watching my yorkie after meeting her and her friends. She even left a surprise in my yorkie’s overnight bag☺️. I look forward to our next visit. She has two adorable small dogs.?”

“Very friendly, Coco enjoyed her stay. Carolina sent updates and pictures to me at least 2 times a day. I recommend her highly. I also suggest to meet beforehand to let her puppy get used to your dog. Het dog is kept separately in the house, but the two dogs got along and hung out together.”

“Ollie loved hanging out with Jennifer! Every picture she sent, he just looks so happy! Ollie enjoyed having other friends a lovely neighborhood to explore. Thank you, Jennifer, Charlie, and Parker!”

“Alexandria was awesome. Easygoing, communicative, flexible and totally capable. We really appreciate her taking care of our sweet pup for the night! He came back happy as a clam.”

“Our experience leaving our one year old mini gilded doodle with Steve was outstanding! It was her first time being left overnight away from home and Steve was wonderful caring for her as well as keeping me in the loop with photos and a detailed report. She learned so much by spending time with his other well managed dogs. We now feel when our baby can’t come with us, she will be happy and well cared for.”

“I would give 100 stars if I could! Kelly is amazing! Kirby had such an amazing time at what we liked to call Camp Kelly. He went hiking, swimming, and exploring everyday! She sent tons of adorable photos of our little guy having a blast. We are so glad we chose Kelly to watch our angel while we were on vacation this summer! The pricing is beyond fair and definitely worth it. The fact that Kelly is so caring and compassionate about animals made us so comfortable about leaving Kirby behind for a week. Thank you so much, Kelly! 10/10 definitely recommend and will most definitely come back in the future! ?”
“Alex is a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and I got multiple pictures every day of my pup. Alex is very comfortable with the dogs and is comfortable with Jet. This is Jets’s third visit!”

“Shelby was great! We had a relatively last minute booking and she was flexible and accommodating. She’s very on top of different needs and sent us pictures updates. Thank you so much, Shelby!”

“Mary is outstanding! She is completely into loving and caring for the dogs she keeps. I received pictures and videos that made me laugh and feel more at ease leaving Sam in her care. I can't say enough good things about Mary and Sam loved her.”

“Dana took great care of Loki on our long trip away! He got a little stomach upset (typical for him with routine/environment changes) and she was very attentive, communicative, and helped get him back on track. Everything was really smooth, and Loki always comes back happy & calm :)”

“Rose was great and very easy to deal with. She took great care of our Griff and he loved playing ball and was tired out. I would definetely reccommend her. Very friendly and appreciative and loves animals.”

“Spencer was perfect! He was very attentive and caring. My dog is a 15 year old senior with medical issues and he was super open to giving pet sitting with him a try and cared for him just as well (if not better) than we would've. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely hope to get Spencer again next time we need a trusted sitter.”

“First time using Rover.com and Elisheba made for a great first impression! My dog was very happy and well cared for. She sent me several pictures to keep me in the loop on their activities. I definitely recommend Elisheba for your pet walking/boarding needs! ?”

“We were extremely pleased with the care and attention that Michelle gave to our dog Dixie. She took great care of our dog and when we came to pick her up, I think Dixie would have been happy to stay longer. The house, the accommodations and the caretaker were perfect for our dog and she was very relaxed when we came to pick her up. Michelle was a very good "fit" for us and Dixie. We definitely would use Michelle again.”

“These three are educated and thoughtful enough to make pet owners who are nervous, apprehensive, and even sad about leaving their fur babies feel comfortable. This dynamic is really special for pups, more like a social outing. We received pictures of our pup enjoying light training, playing with new puppy friends, and relaxing in complete comfort. My husband and I were sad dropping her off for the weekend and ended up being able to complete enjoy our weekend getaway because of Aaron, Kaylee, and Valerie.”

“Luann was such a perfect fit to watch our Mabel. She is great with dogs, has a beautiful home, and huge fenced yard for outdoor activity. She graciously provided us with pics and videos while we were away which we appreciated. So thoughtful. We will definitely be booking again in the future!”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I'm here in my house and I'm happy to offer lots of love, comfort, cuddles, and address any special dietary or medical needs when your pet stays with me! My older large dog is very sweet and sleeps most of the day, but he enjoys playing with other dogs and otherwise is great with cats and any other animals he encounters! I have a large fenced yard on just over an acre outside of Ithaca. Dogs can run and are very happy here when visiting! I am happy to supervise any bathroom breaks or keep your pet on a leash if you prefer them not running the large yard-- whatever feels most comfortable! I will follow your care instructions precisely to ensure your pet gets the love and attention needed.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
