Well, by the time we went to pick Winnie up we were worried she wouldn't want to come home with us. Mary worked with Winnie on basic commands, slowing down eating, had great suggestions for how to keep her occupied and even got her hooked on her homemade Pup Pops! We got photos, texts and videos every day which made it possible to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our baby was having a GREAT time at her new Auntie's house. Winnie got some really great socialization under the watchful eye of Mary and her husband. You can tell that they adore dogs and they know each dog's personality and quirks. It was obvious when I arrived at their home that they love dogs! Steve explained the process of his boarding at the 'meet and greet', then told me what I needed to bring when I returned to drop my pup off. The entire process went smoothly. I received updates with pictures of my pet while I was on vacation. By the looks of the pictures I think my dog had a better vacation with Steve and Patty than I did on my trip!! She seemed happy to see me on pick-up day but also wanted to go back to play with her new friends. I am extremely happy with Steve and Patty's service.”

About: Aside from my own pets over the years, I’ve also provided care and comfort to pets of family and friends. Whether in my home or yours, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴
