“Allison was a great sitter and friend for Smitty for the three weeks we were out of town. There were many visits involved over this time period and Allison did a good job communicating with us about Smitty's various walks and play-times, what kind of mood he was in, whether he drank some water after play-time, and other info. She really cares about Smitty and enjoys the work. We highly recommend Allison!”

“I could keep tabs on my little girl with at least one photo every visit (though Amanda more often sent two!). She looked like quite the contented kitty in all the photos, and Amanda also usually provided me with a little summary of her visit. Count me as one satisfied furbaby parent!”

“Amanda watched my two cats for the weekend and she was extremely attentive and communicative. She was great at sending updates and pictures and kept the house tidy. I'd highly recommend her services!”

“Nicole was fabulous! I cannot speak highly enough of the care she gave our three cats while we were away and how well she communicated with us to let us know how our girls were doing! The pictures she sent made it abundantly clear that our cats were being well taken care of and also being well loved! She will be my go to pet sitter for sure!”

About: I've loved animals all my life, since a tiny girl. Cats, Dogs, Birds, Wildlife, Guinea Pigs and more--each animal is an individual with his or her own life. I understand animals. I GET them. Rescuing birds for nearly 40 years has taught me how to allow an animal to come to you at their own pace. When a bird trusts you, it's a big thing in their life. Birds are especially tender and require more skills, patience and pacing and that has taught me everything about getting to know a new animal. I have vast experience in caring for animals that most people don't have. Even my wildlife like my 60 year old snapping turtle in my natural KOI pond love me and are friendly. Even Woodpeckers land on my hand as you can see from my photos. I am in-tune to animals on a deep level. Most of all, I treat them with respect, love and attention they need and it feeds my soul. I will do the same for your beautiful pet. I am a youthful, energetic 60-something, mostly retired and can focus on my love of animals at this stage of my life. I love giving people security when leaving their pet for vacations or other trips. I love to care for your pet in their own environment. For overnight stays, I'll conform to their habits and needs, including playtime and snuggling. Playing with toys; playing hide and seek games with a blanket; or other games your pet loves. If they enjoy lounging around, being petted, or just hanging out in the same room without touch, that's okay, too.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I had a "mutt" and a shepherd growing up and had a yellow lab, Toby and a mastiff named Adi as an adult. Adi passed away from Lymphoma when she was 7 years old, and we cared for her through that process for about 6 months. Toby, my lab, is 13 years old but does not live with me full time. Simply put, I love dogs and have always treated them as members of the family and because I currently don't have any dogs at home, and miss them terribly, I thought Rover might be a nice way for me to still interact with dogs. I am available most evenings/nights Monday-Friday and am available days/nights on the weekends.

“We are new to Rover and so to find someone like Max so close to home has been a blessing. Max was very communicative with stories and pictures and made our time away stress free. Our dogs were in good hands with Max! We will call on him again and definitely recommend his services.”

About: I’ve recently moved to Michigan from Denver and would love to start up pet sitting again! I have years of experience, I’ve been a sitter since freshman year of college. I look forward to meeting you in person first for a meet and greet! I work full-time but mostly remote. I work for Denver County Department of Human Services. My typical day is working on my laptop doing documentation and occasionally going out into a field once to three times a week. I have the friendliest dog, Duke, he can come with me to the home if that is something a client is interested in or stay with my boyfriend at our house.

About: Hi! I’m Caroline — I’m 25, and animals have always held a huge place in my heart. I grew up with pets and started caring for animals for friends, neighbors, and families when I was younger. Whether it’s a goofy pup who loves long walks or a snuggly cat who just wants company, I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I see animals as family, and that’s exactly how I treat them. When your pet is with me, you can count on them getting plenty of love, attention, and care — the same way I’d treat my own. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s hands, and I take that trust seriously. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am pretty flexible with days and times. I’m able to provide lots of potty breaks! Just having graduated, I have lots of free time. I love being outdoors, so your furry friend will most likely be out enjoying a nature walk or playing at the park with me! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll stay cozy inside with some playtime or relaxing together. I also love taking photos, so you can expect cute updates throughout the day to see what we’re up to!

Kate W.
“My friend, Kate, has been around my Cat, Bogo, for a long time. She has taken care of him for days and a few week-long vacations too. She had spent the night and snuggled. I love the fact that she cares enough to show photos / video clips while she is with my animal. My pet is like family and so I need the best of care, as though I'm taking care of my own daughter or son. I highly recommend Kate to every pet owner who needs attentive care - no matter the type of pet because she has cared for Parrots, cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. If you hire her, she is worth every penny of peace-of-mind for yourself, and your animal.”

Micah F.

“Our kitties enjoyed their visitor during our recent vacation and were well taken care of. Thanks for checking in on them Micah!”

Michelle O.
“Michelle has been a great friend to me for almost seven years. I have watched her love on and spoil her sweet dog kids, Toby and Adi, that whole time. We never had a shopping trip that didn't include a stop to spoil her dogs. Adi has since passed away, but she still spoils Toby every chance she gets. If there is a chance to get a squeaky toy for Toby, she will make sure to get one-even if he destroys it the same day. Michelle also loves spoiling dogs with carrots and belly rubs. There is no one I would trust more to care for my dog than her.”
