“Great communication! Our dogs loved her! Very respectful of our property! She even loved on our cats when they came to say hello as well! Would recommend over and over again! 10/10!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover that is patient and nurturing to pets. I grew up with both dogs and cats. For years I have been a reliable and trustworthy person among family, friends, and neighbors. I have extensive experience checking in on pets and playing with them throughout the day, dog walking, and overnight pet/house sitting for a variety of cat and dog breeds. I also have experience administering medication to pets if needed. For example, one dog I’ve watched many times had a case of kennel cough/pneumonia and/or ear infection that required daily antibiotics and ear drops. I am extremely passionate about pets and giving them the best care possible to ensure they remain healthy, active, and happy. I take pride in providing excellent care and peace of mind for pet owners. I also like to take photos of the pets each day or so to send to their owners to keep them updated and ensure their well-being. I am able to check on pets before and after work, as well as during lunch breaks. If/when working from home, I can stay at the house with the pets throughout the day. In the evenings and weekends while pet sitting, I take the dog(s) for a walk and then spend time playing and hanging out with them in the backyard and/or around the house. When pet sitting at client’s homes, I make sure the pets are always nearby or at least in view. I routinely let dogs out into the backyard for exercise and potty breaks as needed, and ensure all gates are closed/locked to keep them safe. I also regularly check their bowls so that they always have access to fresh water and are fed on their usual schedule.
“Bailey took such great care of my two cats! Not only did she feed them, she also let them get to know her and gave lots of attention and love. I will be using Bailey in the future for my pet sitting needs!”

“Karyn was excellent - took great care of our dog and made her happy while we were away. Karyn helped us out on short notice and really saved the day. We didn’t worry about Sammy at all!”

I have ton of free time to check up and play with your furry companions! I pick up what I can when I’m not working! :) I work hard to make sure your pets comfort and care comes first. Prioritizing their safety while having fun! And always treating pets like family!

“Allison was a great sitter and friend for Smitty for the three weeks we were out of town. There were many visits involved over this time period and Allison did a good job communicating with us about Smitty's various walks and play-times, what kind of mood he was in, whether he drank some water after play-time, and other info. She really cares about Smitty and enjoys the work. We highly recommend Allison!”

About: I have always had dogs, raising them from puppies. I have had old dogs, sick dogs, active dogs, pure breeds, and mixed breeds. They always become part of the family. I work from home and am usually only away for a couple of hours at a time. If I know ahead of time that a specific pet needs more attention, I can schedule accordingly. I have a fenced yard with a doggie door. I keep the doggie door shut unless an owner asks for me to use it. I do not have any children or pets of my own in my home at this time. I live in a quiet neighborhood. A very calm environment.
About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs and cats has always been a part of my life—not just a job. I’ve grown up around pets and truly see them as family members, so I understand how important it is that they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals. I also have hands-on experience from working at a dog kennel during high school, where I learned the importance of routine, cleanliness, and recognizing different pet personalities and needs. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy cat, or a senior pet who needs extra care and gentleness, I’m committed to making every pet’s time with me happy and stress-free. Pet care fits very well into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently working at a doggie daycare, I mostly work in the afternoon. My schedule can be flexible but for the most part I have work from 12-6:30 in the afternoon. I enjoy structuring my days around feeding times, walks, play, and companionship so pets receive consistent attention. Ideally, I’m looking to do pet care part-time, which means I can be reliable, present, and attentive when pets need me rather than rushing through visits. I care for pets by closely following the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and comfort. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets receive plenty of love, patience, and compassionate attention. I focus on meeting each pet’s individual needs—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and quiet time—while making them feel safe and cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always aim to create a calm, positive environment.
“Frances was wonderful! I have a scaredy cat who hides and Frances went and found her to make sure she was okay. It gave me peace of mind. I would happily ask Frances to care for my sweet cat again!”

About: I engage in their personalities and strive to develop a bond with both dogs and cats. I was with my senior cat to the end-of-life. I am a volunteer at Harbor Humane Society. My work hours are Monday thru Friday, 6am - 2pm. I would be available for dog walks/ cat care, and drop- in visits after 3 pm. I have a 2.5 yr old cat a 7 year old cat who are getting along fine. After my 18+ yr old cat passed in May of 2021, I felt it right to get the 7 yr old cat a playmate. They produce a nice sense of harmony in the house.

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! Send me a message and lets talk about your furry friend today! I am currently working, but that can be worked around your schedule and your pets needs. I am always willing to find the best scenario and schedule! For those going on walks and runs, we will work with what you use and what works best for your dog. All dogs are different. Also, what you want from your dog is different as well. If they need some leash training we can do that as well. My car is dog friendly, so if ball at the park is what they need, or a swim, I am down for that as well! Variety is the spice of life! For stays, I do have a dog of my own who is completely pet friendly, so of course our home is too! Any questions, Ask away :)

About: I currently work from home and am approaching retirement age. I am seeking part-time opportunities while actively building a client base to support my transition into retirement. I love walking and with my dogs getting to senior age I have to limit them to short walks. Looking to walk more and why not with your pet at my side I work from home and am approaching retirement age. I am seeking part time opportunities while actively building a client base to support my transition into retirement I have a fenced in yard with 2 small dogs and a cat. They love walks and getting spoiled and would love your fur baby to be included.

“Sarah was a delight to work with! She was excellent with communication, professional, friendly, and reliable. Overall she just put my mind at ease knowing my cat was being well taken care of while I was out of town. We had Sarah do several drop in visits for our high energy/very spoiled cat over Christmas and he had all of needs met. This was the first time he wasn't crabby when we returned from a trip, so I definitely hope to utilize Sarah's services again. She treated my cat like one of her own!”

“Emily is able to check in on my pet on both Christmas eve and the day of Christmas, and was very flexible on time. She takes instructions very responsibly and was great with my skittish cat.”

About: My first job at 12 was dog walking/sitting but I have been a lifelong animal lover! I grew up with dogs and adopted my cat about 8 years ago. I have cared for both young and elderly dogs/cats as well as those with special needs and medical conditions. I am currently a stay at home mom with my five year old son. My availability is very open especially going into the summer months. Although I may not be able to do overnight stays at this time, I can do later evenings and earlier mornings. I do have a fenced in backyard that I can accommodate your pup with! I also have a dog in my home who is very friendly and would love play if you allow it. If not I will keep them separate. I can take your dog out to a local trail or walk them in your neighborhood. With cats I would be vigilant in keeping them away from open doors unless allowed. I know they love to explore small spaces and I take extra precautions to keep my girl safe! I love getting to know all the unique personalities of different cats, I love a good cuddle as well as some fun playtime. I have a special place in my heart for senior kitties.
