About: I have been taking care of my own dog since 2016 and have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have several dogs in my family and have regularly dog-sat for friends and relatives since I was a kid. While I don’t currently have time to commit to a full-time dog of my own due to school, I truly enjoy being able to care for and spend time with pets through sitting and walking. “My two dogs had a wonderful time staying at Hanah and Dabin’s beautiful apartment. They were very accommodating and kind, especially since one of my dogs recently had surgery. Also, both of my dogs are needy and suffer from separation anxiety, so they can be a lot to handle. I also appreciated that Shelby clearly had put in some time to learn about dogs and their behavior. I’ve done that myself so I noticed in the things she said that she had spent some time on learning about them. That always makes me feel more comfortable with daycare because it makes people more likely to see signs of potential problems in dog interactions. I spend a good amount of time with them outside in the yard, they are never let out without supervision.

About: I grew up with dogs and currently have 2 cats. One of my cats is a senior (almost 20 years old) so I do have experience caring for a senior pet. I love animals and will treat yours as my own! I would prefer dogs who are kid friendly. About this sitter: My name is Tessa and I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3. I love animals and have 2 cats myself! I would love to make your dog a part of our family for the day or longer! Regarding my cats: I am able to keep my cats separate from your dog, if you are concerned about that. I think it’s best to keep them separate to avoid any issues. I put my cats in my primary bedroom upstairs along with all their stuff and they are perfectly fine! But if your dog is cat friendly, I don’t mind letting them interact a bit. My senior cat is just a little freaked out by high energy dogs but she calms down after a bit. My younger cat is probably more open to dogs, she’s very friendly and mellow. Either way, I’m happy to accommodate! I drop my 3 kids off at school Monday-Friday and I am done with that around 8:30am. I pick up my youngest at 1:40 and my middle child at 3pm. So I will have about 4 hours each day until pick up my youngest. I am also available most weekends. Just message me and will do my best to accommodate your schedule. We live in a 4 bedroom condo and I have a fenced in patio and plenty of walking space throughout my neighborhood. Your dogs will feel safe and right at home! I will also make sure that your dogs are safe and cared your dog is in my home!

“Patricia is absolutely fantastic! She was a true life saver when we got our puppy, not realizing how young the puppy was and that it couldn't be created yet while we were at work. She understood that the puppy would take more attention and care than some of her other clients and Patricia was very committed to giving our pup what she needed. She also gave us some great tips for first time puppy owners. Another great thing is her scheduling for drop off and pick up is very flexible. We continue to use her although our girl is spending more time at home. We appreciate her very much.”

I have helped my extended family with watching their elderly dog, who has had a lot of problems with most people but she really likes me. For my extended family’s elderly dog, I make sure to watch her closely, give her easy to eat snacks, and take her into the backyard to get some exercise. I never rush her and make sure to wait for however long she need.

“Zoey is a very anxious dog and gets very nervous when going to new places. We met Rebecca at her home and we first took Zoey and her dog hunter for a walk. I was in shock because Zoey will only walk a small area that she's familiar with, once she gets to a certain point, she's headed for home. I stopped Rebecca and told her this never happens. This was my first indication of it being a good fit. We than went to her backyard yard. Zoey sat in my lap for a bit, I put her down and she sniffed around the yard, went in the house to check things out. Again, no signs if being anxious. R3becca is very calm and her well behaved dog was an indication that she has spent time teaching good behavior. I think I could learn a few things from her.”
