About: I have taken care of animals for the majority of my life whether that be nursing stray kittens back to health, assembling special meals for my dogs specific health requirements, or pet and house sitting for friends and family members so they could take a well needed vacation. I have always held a deep love for animals and a career where I can be around them all day sounds more like a dream than a job. While not a certified dog trainer I do have experience with training puppies for small tricks such as sit, place, stay, down, etc. and would be happy to teach your fur baby as I take care of them. As a full time student I have a very open schedule with asynchronous classes that allow me to be there when your fur baby requires. I make sure to keep my pets on a regular schedule with grooming, food, vet visits and play sessions so they may have the best experiences as they grow and develope.

About: I’m an active, outdoorsy animal lover with years of firsthand experience caring for dogs, including six years with two large dogs of my own. I’ve also lived with and helped care for my parents’ dogs and, more recently, two large dogs in a previous household. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including large and giant breeds, as well as puppies. I’m also insured and bonded. To me, pet care is about much more than feeding and walking. I want your pet to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Having had dogs of my own, I understand how much trust it takes to leave an animal you love in someone else’s hands. I enjoy following each pet’s normal routine closely and giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they’re used to. I’ll care for your pet with the same thoughtfulness and love I would want for my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday, so weekday pet care fits around my work schedule. I usually need to be at work by 8:00 AM and am off by 5-5:15 PM. My ability to get away during lunch varies and is not guaranteed. My overnight shows as unavailable Tuesdays — however, Tuesday may be possible depending on my work schedule. Please message me if you’re interested and I’ll be happy to see if I can make it work. For drop-in visits and dog walks, my profile lists availability for up to two visits per day. On weekends, I can often accommodate more than two visits or walks per day. On weekdays, visits and walks are available after work, with evening appointments beginning by 6:00 PM. My schedule can vary, so if the timing you need doesn’t appear to match my listed availability, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to check my schedule and see what’s possible. My weekends are especially flexible, giving me more availability for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays without the weekday workday constraints. I’m also happy to consider last-minute bookings when my schedule allows. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and your instructions closely so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I enjoy spending time with pets and making sure their needs are fully met, whether that means walks, meals, playtime, crate time, or letting your dog out in the yard as needed. I’ll spend time outside with them rather than simply opening the door and leaving them alone. If your pet is allowed on furniture or sleeps in a certain spot, I’m happy to follow the same household rules you use. My goal is to keep things familiar, safe, and low-stress while giving your pet plenty of attention and companionship. In addition to following your pet’s routine and safety instructions closely, I carry independent pet-care liability insurance and bonding for added peace of mind.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have been apart of the Rover community for around 5 years now. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you’re away! I am currently home full time and am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! My attention is on my love for animals so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets. I’m available on weekdays anytime and most weekends I will make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. I’m happy to follow your instructions and keep their routine consistent!

About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!

About: By day, I work as a consultant, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of free time during regular hours. I’ve always loved animals, so I decided to turn that into something fun: dog walking and drop-in visits. I’d love to help keep your pup happy, active, and well cared for while you’re away! My day job gives me a lot of flexibility, so fitting in walks or drop-ins throughout the day is easy for me. It always brightens my day to spend time with animals. I love playing with them, getting outside, and just being around dogs in general. Here's a version for that: Safety is a top priority for me, whether we're out on a walk or spending time in your home. I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and is having a good time. I pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings, and if anything concerning comes up, I'll reach out to you right away so we can figure out the best next step together.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5, growing up my street had so many chihuahuas. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own. Right now I’m in college so I’m doing this for a little extra money and for something to do. I would love this extra time to care and love your pets as if they are my own plus it would give me something to do. (I promise I have so much free time on my hands this would really help lol) I would keep your dog inside. We would do activities such as walking your dog at a park or around my house. You must bring your own dog/cat food.

About: I've been around well trained and untrained dogs alike for most of my life. I am capable with strong dogs, aggressive dogs, and dogs who just have tons of energy! I am currently doing gig work in the film industry, so in between gigs I have plenty of time to care for our furry friends. I care for other people's pets same as I care for mine at home. Simple basics are essential, but the magic happens when you build a bond and enrich each other's time together.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life and have always love taking care of them. I am familiar taking care of dogs of many different breeds and ages. And have been dog sitting for neighbors and friend for many years. I am currently in school taking classes at UNCW so but my schedule is flexible. Very open on Friday to Monday but still have availability Tuesday thur Thursday to care for, watch, and walk your pups! I cannot take pets into my home but I am available to take care of them at a clients home and the service that’s come with that.

About: I did an Internship at an Animal Hospital for about a year and a half. I have personally been taking care of animals since I was about 14. I had a husky for almost 12 years, I had to give her baths, take her on walks, and feed her. I now have a Shih Tzu and for her, I have to take her to her hair cut appointments, her vet appointments, give her baths twice a week, walk her and feed her. I also took care of my Grandma’s cat and I had to take her to hair cut appointments, feed her, and clean her litter box. I am hardworking and also put 110% into everything I do. I am very reliable, trustworthy and I make sure everything I do is done correctly. I have also watched way more pets than what rover says I have, and about 95% of the people I dog sit for do reach back out to me to see if I can watch their pet again! I am a full time student! I currently have a part-time job because I wanted to take a break from pet sitting since I had been doing it continuously for so long. I still pet sit for my old clients, but am now ready to take on some new ones! I’ve realized I want to work my way back into pet sitting so I can quit my part-time job! I would prioritize the visits needed over my current job for your animal! :) I really do miss pet sitting and hope to be able to get back into it! The pets I have watched, if it’s at the owners house, or mine, they always seem very happy, and the owners are always pleased when they arrive back home! I am very observant when it comes to watching animals, so I try to provide the best care I can while they are with me!
