About: Hi, my name’s Lindsey! I’m 25 years old and I absolutely love all sorts of animals. At home I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, Goats, Ducks, chickens, a gecko, a turtle and fish. My house has always been full of pets growing up, as I participated in my local 4-H club for 9 years. I have had lots of animals, including lizards, fish, a hedgehog, a ferret, cats, dogs, lambs, goats, pigs, and cattle. I have also had lots of experience over the years taking good care of my neighbors’ and friends’ pets whenever they are out of town. You have my word that I will be reliable and closely follow all your instructions for your little ones, and I will be sure to treat and love your pets like my own! I am home most of the day since I work from home. You have my word that your pets will be treated lovingly in my hands. I have a tendency to spoil all animals. I have a fenced in yard, perfect for running around and playing. I always make sure that I have fresh cold water outside during play time.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my teen to adult years. I volunteered at a rescue taking care of mostly the cats. I’ve previously helped rescue kittens and dogs. I’ve always had animals around me. I’m a very big animal lover. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs and cat sit a kitten from time to time. I give the cats baths maybe once a month and the dogs weekly and I routinely walk the dogs. I watch the dogs while they’re outside while also giving them extra love. I love taking dogs on walks. I play with cats and even bring along toys that I know my cats love.

About: For me, pet care has never been just a job—it's been a lifelong passion. I was raised in a family of professional trainers and boarders, where I learned from an early age how to properly care for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. We also spent countless hours working alongside local shelters, helping dogs build confidence and prepare for their forever homes. Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience working in boarding, training assistance, behavioral rehabilitation, and pet care. In 2012, I began my career as a professional dog groomer and later became certified to groom both dogs and cats. In 2020, I became certified to train new groomers as they worked toward their professional certifications. What Your Pet Can Expect I strive to make every stay feel like a vacation with family rather than simply boarding. Your pet may enjoy: • Daily walks (typically 2-4 per day, while following your normal routine whenever possible) • Plenty of one-on-one attention and affection • Playtime, enrichment, and exercise • Trips to the dog park (with your permission and only if appropriate for your pet) • Picture, video, and message updates throughout their stay • A calm, loving home environment where they are treated like family One unique tradition many pets come to love is bedtime story time. It may sound unusual, but quietly reading aloud has helped many anxious dogs relax before bed. I've even seen it help dogs experiencing storm anxiety or fear of loud noises settle more comfortably. Routine is incredibly important to me. If your pet has a specific schedule, feeding routine, medication plan, or bedtime ritual, I'll do everything possible to maintain it while they're in my care. Because of my experience working with behavioral and medical cases, I also pay close attention to subtle changes in your pet's behavior, mobility, appetite, and overall well-being. If I notice anything concerning, I'll communicate with you immediately and act quickly in your pet's best interest. Communication & Grooming I believe communication is one of the most important parts of pet care. The more I know about your pet's personality, routines, preferences, and medical history, the better experience I can provide. In return, you'll receive detailed updates about how they're doing, including behavior, activities, and anything I notice that may be helpful for you to know. During boarding or daycare stays, I'm also happy to reinforce basic training and offer guidance on grooming maintenance, body language, and behavioral changes that may strengthen your bond with your pet at home. Professional grooming services are available for pets staying in my care. Grooming recommendations, pricing, and service completion depend on your pet's size, coat condition, medical needs, and stress level. My philosophy is simple: I will never force a pet through a service. Their comfort, trust, and emotional well-being always come first. Booking Information To help protect my home while still providing every pet with the highest level of care, the estimated price for boarding and daycare includes a refundable cleaning/security fee. This fee is fully refunded after your pet's stay provided there is no excessive damage or extraordinary cleaning required beyond normal pet messes. I believe this allows me to continue offering a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for every guest while being fair to both pet parents and my home. My goal is simple: every pet should leave my care feeling safe, loved, understood, and excited to come back. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

About: I have worked and shadowed at three veterinary clinics over the past three years, where I have cared for many dogs and cats, along with their numerous needs. I also have a dog and two cats at home that I take on walks, feed daily, and play with. I am currently shadowing two veterinary practices part-time, where I have improved my animal caregiving skills. I am available the majority of the week to provide pet care for others, as can be seen on my calendar. I have very good time management skills and I will always put your pet’s care as my first priority. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a baby. When I got to middle school my friend asked to watch her dogs while her family was out of town and I agreed. While Covid was still around I would do virtual school and take care of our dogs while my parents worked. I am hoping to do this part time while I am home from college (Between Middle of May and Early August). I am available any time during the day. I can feed the dogs or medicine if needed, fill the water bowls, take them outside (a fenced yard is preferred please or trained), I am willing to walk dogs to get any energy out.

Your pups day will be full of fun and activities to keep them happy while you relax. I am able to work on a schedule if requested and will follow every care request you provide. I am a law student so I am unavailable Mon-Thurs 8am to 6pm. I have 1 friendly and playful pup that can be your dogs playmates or can safely be kept in separate. I have a large trail close by so walks will always be interesting!

About: I will love and take care of your pets as if they were my own. I love to go out and play with pets I care for. I would dog sit when I was in high school for different families. Those families loved how attentive I was, and as a result they would refer me to their friends. I’m always available for you buddies! You and me both know that your pets are more than pets, theyre family. You don’t want just anyone taking care of family. I do currently work full time, however I have a job that is extremely flexible. I set my own hours, including when I am in my office. This pairs perfectly with animal care and house care because I can come and go as frequently as needed. Due to my open schedule I can be available for any needs your pets may have. I prefer to let the client tell me exactly what they want for their pet. I like to keep your life as simple as possible while giving you peace of mind by following any requests you have. I work at most 6 hour shifts per day and 4 days per week so I have plenty of free time for play, walking and cuddles. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets while they’re away. I now have a black Yorkie of my own, and I treat every animal I care for like part of the family—whether they bark or purr! I currently work part time- and have lots of free time! I will send out a daily schedule of what I’ll be doing with the pets! I will take your dog out on walks on our neighborhood trail outside! About: Hi, I've been around pets for the last 15ish years with that I've learned that not all dogs are the same and will react the same way towards everyone. I have worked with dogs who were previously in shelters, nervous dogs, fearful dogs, and anxious dogs. I have experience dog sitting small and big dogs. I have potty trained my own dogs and have helped friends potty train as well. I'm comfortable with bathing, brushing, feeding, walking, and interacting with dogs. I have worked with special needs dogs and am comfortable changing their diapers, applying creams and ointments, and applying wraps or bandages if needed. I'm comfortable feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and brushing cats. I've also taken care of small reptiles like bearded dragons and geckos, as well as birds like cockatiels and parakeets. I just moved to the area and have flexible availability. I am available for drop ins and walks throughout the day. No time is too early or too late. I'm open to last minute drop ins or walks as long as it is communicated. I'm great at sticking to your pets eating schedule as well as establishing routines if needed. I'm able to clean up after your pet, feed them, interact with them, and stimulate their brain as well.

About: Before joining Rover I mainly provided my services through word of mouth. I have experience with providing basic medical care for dogs and cats, and training experience including potty training and easing separation anxiety. I have vast experience and knowledge on various breeds and their specific needs, and really just love being able to have the time and availability to be able to provide these services. They say a dog is a man’s best friend, but in my case, a dog has always been a woman’s best friend! I offer dog sitting, walking, training and boarding at my home as well. About: Hi! I split my time between Greensboro and Rehoboth! Weekends in Rehoboth and during the week in Greensboro, with some flexibility! I have lifelong experience and deep love for animals. I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, including my own three dogs – one of whom is a senior and two other high energy dogs, including a Whippet and a Jack Russell blend – along with two indoor/outdoor rescue barn cats. With a large property for exercise and play, I understand the unique needs of different breeds and personalities. My experience extends beyond my own pets, as I’ve been trusted to care for others beloved animals for years. I’m passionate about providing attentive and reliable care, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I am a teacher and will be gone from my home 8 hours of the day. I can be available to come let pets out for a potty break in the middle of the day some days. I am free on weekends all day. If your pet is crate trained they will be on the same schedule as my own! I have cared for many animals, boarding, walking/running, and general care. My pets are allowed on furniture for snuggles and free roam of the house, to explore and move! I have two high energy dogs that need to go on runs daily. I am fit and we are on a dirt road and a large property so getting exercise is easy! My dogs have their own bedroom and actual bed, but are also crate trained for during the day. They are very friendly, love other animals and our cats!
