About: I have grown up having dogs my entire life. I have two family dogs named Comet who is 15 years old and Lucy who is 8 years old. I love my dogs and have taken great care of them. I also regularly walked a dog named Lucy (different from my family’s dog Lucy) twice a week for a year while in college along with many other walks, drop-in visits, or sitting opportunities over the past six years. I enjoy walking, sitting, and doing drop-in visits for dogs. They bring me great joy, have such fun personalities, and get me outside for some exercise and fresh air. I am a social worker who is currently working on transferring licenses from states. With that said, I am currently very flexible with my schedule. I will always prioritize your pet’s needs. I usually like to see what the dog is doing in their own space or in a new space like my house so I can learn their preferences. I am always in the same room as the dog and never leave them on their own. My house is very clean and organized. There is plenty of living room and bedrooms space for them to roam around.
About: I grew up in an animal shelter. Sounds crazy right? Well, it's true. My mom has always worked around animals(and still does) so I was always right by her side. Whether it be at animal shelters, helping with adoptions, walking, feeding, giving medications. Anything to be involved ! Then she became a Veterinarian. So of course, when I got old enough, I worked at her clinic. I've truely worked with animals my whole life and have always had animals of my own. I am currently working as an Animal Rescue Coordinator each day but would love to further my pet care business . My fur babies are my children and I treat them as so. You will always be able to find comfort knowing that I will treat your fur babies with the same love and care as my own! My favorite thing to do is spend time with my 3 dogs. A few things we love doing are going to the dog park, playing fetch, frisbee, going to the lake to swim, agility, hiking, and of course getting frozen yogurt! I would be more than happy to spend time with your pup doing these things. I'm sure they deserve it! I currently work part time in VetMed so my schedule is fairly flexible. I have a small hobby farm of my own with several different types of pets that I love caring for. However, I love working with other pets and providing an established routine and relationship, as well. I will be available most weekdays and some weekends. I care for pets in my home/client’s home as if they were my own. They are allowed on furniture/beds if the owner is okay with this. I have doggy gates for separation of other animals if needed. Pets are never left unattended in my home. If I must leave for any reason, your pet must be kenneled in my home. In your home, I will adhere to your routine and guidelines of course.

About: I have taken care of many dogs for family and friends in the Austin area for overnight trips, emergency trips, and day to day care. I follow instructions well and love to spend time with all animals, especially dogs. I take care of my two cats at home daily and occasionally take care of other pets for friends and family. The house is quiet and calm, which works well for dogs who prefer a low-key environment. My home is a safe, pet-friendly space where your dog is treated like family. We have a large fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, play, and sniff around safely. I have a mini blue heeler of my own who’s great company for social dogs, and I’m happy to keep visiting pets separated if yours does better solo (only have her occasionally). I stick closely to the feeding, medication, and walking routine you provide, keep dogs leashed on every outing, and send photo and video updates so you always know how your best friend is doing. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m comfortable using one for rest or bedtime.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
