“Deedra took excellent care of our 3 rescue cats, Dora, Peavey, and Chico. She kept their food and water refreshed and their litter boxes clean. She was only able to get glimpses of Peavey and Chico, who are each very cautious and shy but we appreciated that she tried to find them each day to make sure they were ok. Dora received daily pets and brushings plus treats and hairball medicine (which is her favorite treat!) Deedra maintained excellent communication with us throughout our 2 week vacation through texts, a couple of phone calls, and multiple pictures each day. On the first day our alarm system went off because we had forgotten to disarm it during the time of her visit. She called us right away, remained calm, and handled it very well, even able to joke about it as "testing our alarm" for us. (This was an in-home system, alerting us but not calling the police.) If you want a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter, Deedra is the one to call. She gave us very reasonable rates, too!”

About: Hi! My name is Emily and I’m getting ready to go to graduate school and have some free time right now! I grew up with cats and dogs, regularly watch my friends Bernadoodle, and would love to be a sitter for your pet! I’m currently not working, as I am starting Graduate school in a few weeks and have plenty of free time! I am very flexible for drop ins and walks! About: I have been around / taken care of animals since I first opened my eyes it seems.. no but I did grow up on a farm actually. When I was 8 my dad got me a pony named peanut. My parents have never gone without having 2-3 dogs at all times. Not only that, I babysat, dog sat, and house sat all throughout high school and college. Still at it and I love it. Working with animals comes easy for me. I’ve done and seen it all. I also have years of experience working with special needs of all ages, even traveled to different states as their guide along trips. Ive gone on deep sea fishing trips with disabled veterans and their pets. Anyway, enough about me! Can’t wait to meet you all! ————- Let me know if you have any questions. I typically do 15-20 min meet and greets which are scheduled upon request before booking. Making space for your fur babe to feel comfortable safe and connected is important, so don’t worry I will make plenty of time in order to do so while checking in with you once or twice a day. Sharing photos and videos in between. I usually play calming music on the tv throughout the day and assure they can relax and trust that they are in safe hands. I know it takes a few days. They have plenty of space in the yard as well to interact with wildlife, play, relax, etc.
