About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments for over four years, including senior dogs and energetic puppies. I’m trusted by friends, family, and neighbors to walk, feed, bathe, and provide lots of love and attention. I’m comfortable administering medications, following specific routines, and reading dog body language to keep pets safe and happy. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or structured care, I treat every dog like my own. I’m currently don’t work, so I have plenty of time to give your pup the attention they deserve! I’m available for boarding all day every day. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and extended stays with ease. I have a secure one acre fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new friends! Your pup will be safe, socialized, and cared for in a loving home environment. I can also crate your dog if needed and always follow the owner’s instructions for safety and comfort.

“Our dog Bria loves being with Jennifer! When we pull up to her driveway, Bria’s tail is already wagging- she can’t wait to see Jennifer and start a fun day! She loves running around with the other dogs and getting lots of attention from Jennifer and her son. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that Bria is well taken care of and loved while away from home. I highly, highly recommend Jennifer!”

“Oliver enjoyed his time at Doug and Marisol’s home doggie daycare this week! I felt relieved knowing my little guy was being well-cared for while I was at work. They provided Oliver with a cozy environment and his prescription food & treats.”

About: My household has 4 kids and we have so much love to give to pets. While Im not ready for a full 10-15 years commitment and have my own pet, I would love to take care of your pet. I will always walk your dog, feed your dog, play with your dog, snuggle with your dog and make sure your pet is safe. I'm self-employed, so most of the time I'm working from home. This will guarantee the pet is fed and has had a bathroom break. Kids absolutely love playing with pets after school and between classes. Husband is totally on board with helping take care of pets when needed. Our property is located in a tucked away corner, there is no traffic around so pet can safely play in the front yard and backyard. At home we have plenty of space for the pet to run around or have a quiet moment.

About: Greetings, Pet Parents April and Ivan are our names! We have a long history with a variety of fur breeds. Having worked as a K9 handler for seven years, Ivan is aware of the value of service animals, their nutritional needs, training requirements, and care demands. On the other hand, April is the person you will discover calling for help by the side of the road. She makes homemade frozen cocktail treats in the summer and keeps them chilled on hot days and toasty at night. Winston (Frenchie), Cheech (Malinois), Braham (Malinois), and our rescued tortoise Taco, make up our five furry family members. Our family is friendly and affectionate. We think it's important to speak up for animals' mental health. As you can see we only book 3 fur babies at a time due to attention and providing best care. We are all about providing the best individual care. We feel like overbooking an animal is over looking its needs and personality. It’s important we provide the same care and attention as any owner would. Time is everything I pretty much have. I’m always home and outside working on the yard or playing outside with my child. I will constantly have eyes on every pet that will be in my care and making sure they are fully comfortable and taken care of. CPR Certified and professionally trained in medical care and training. Always checking fences, surroundings and entry of the yard. Self-aware of signs of dehydration, sickness, and unbalanced moods.

“Cecilia took very good care of my dogs while I was in San Diego. She sent me pictures and videos several times during the day and I could see they we’re having fun with her two dogs. I would definitely rebook with Cecilia in the future.”

“David and Jeanette have a wonderful environment for dogs with a big backyard and even their own dog park within it. Our dogs came home happy and relaxed. I definitely recommend them and will be scheduling again soon”

“Larky and Pizza had a great time at Baileys house! She was very accommodating, flexible and responded quickly to make their stay so easy! She sent us pictures and updates of how they were doing, took them on walks and made sure they had plenty of snuggles and playtime. We look forward to using Bailey for future dogsitting needs!”

About: Hi there! My name is Analise, and I’ve been caring for pets since I was a kid—it’s always been a part of who I am. Animals bring such a special kind of joy and light into our lives, and it’s a privilege to be someone they can trust and feel safe with. I currently have a sweet and loving pup of my own, so I know just how important it is to find someone who treats your pet like family. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or a walk around the block, I’m here to give your furry friend the attention and care they deserve. I currently work an hybrid schedule and am in the office two days a week. I am typically open on weekends which makes for long days and afternoons out at a park walking so your pet will always be out enjoying the fresh air! I have a fenced yard right on a golf course! Later in the evening the grass is a great area to go out for a walk or some play time!

“I highly recommend Catalina if you need someone to take care of your pet. She is dedicated, compassionate, and understanding towards animals. If you want someone who will treat your pet with love, then Catalina on Rover.com is the right person for you. I recently booked Catalina for doggy day care on Rover.com when I was in town. Even though I arranged it at the last minute, Catalina was a lifesaver for my 12-year-old Miniature American Eskimo, Nimbus, who has slight separation anxiety. Catalina was very friendly and welcoming from the beginning, which helped me and Nimbus feel at ease. Even though I forgot to bring Nimbus's toys, Catalina took care of her well during the seven hours she was with her. Catalina went above and beyond to make sure Nimbus was comfortable. Nimbus was given specific treats that I provided, brushed, and walked. It was clear that Catalina cared for Nimbus and was aware of her anxiety. Catalina was also mindful of Nimbus's behavior. Nimbus is not good with other dogs and has a tendency to chase cats. Catalina kept Nimbus in a safe and comfortable environment and made sure she was away from anything that could distress her. This shows how much Catalina tailors her care to each pet's specific needs. Catalina's ability to adapt to Nimbus's specific needs proves why I highly recommend her services on Rover.com.”

“So glad to have found Leigh for Bailey. She is such a nice & loving person. You can tell she really cares. We have used her services several times & each time Bailey was well taken care of & happy. Highly recommended.”

“What a great family we had watching our pups today! Jack and Scout had a fabulous time getting all kinds of love and attention, the enclosed backyard was fantasticly huge, and our dogs were instantly comfortable with the people and the space. Darylee and I had great communication from start to finish. This was a great experience for our first time using a Rover!”

About: I’ve taken care of my dogs since I was old enough to. Over the course of my life I have had many cats and dogs and have always been the one responsible for them. My work schedule has changed, but I’m still available after noon on Sundays. I’m also free in the mornings of Monday and Friday. Additionally, I’m available all day Tuesdays and Saturdays, and I can also help you out from 2-3:30 on Wednesday and until 5 on Thursday. Let me know what works best for you! My big dogs have a huge backyard where they can run and chill while my little dog stays inside most of the time. I feed them based on their needs - the big dogs get more than the small dog, and the small dog only eats once a day. I also play fetch with one of my big dogs while the other tries to attack him when he comes back to me. For clients, I’d bring toys to play with them, go on long walks, and feed them when needed.

About: Hi! I'm Heather and I look forward to caring for your family pet(s). I always wanted to work with animals and began pet sitting in college where I went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Zoology. I am a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College and worked as an Elephant Keeper/Trainer for 6 years at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Prior to having human children and being a stay-at-home mom, my career goals always involved working in the animal field. I have volunteered and interned with San Diego Zoo Global helping out with research projects such as the Indian Rhinoceros Project & Elephant Baby Watch. I spent a summer out on San Clemente Island as a Research Fellow where I helped out with the Loggerhead Shrike Recovery Program. I have worked for Project Wildlife in their triage center and have helped SoCal Parrot with special needs parrots. My family now has 2 dogs, a Chihuahua mix named Tanner and a Terrier mix named Baxter. Our house cat named Socks and 2 barn cats named Mr. Dinkles and Aura. We also have a mini pigs (Brad, Petunia & Mei Mei), chickens, and 3 sheep (Charlotte, Gretl & Percy). Taking care of animals is a true passion of mine. Your pet(s) will be in loving arms while you are not home. I'm happy to spend time just playing, going for a walk, cuddle time or spending some time training. I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my children part-time. Our schedule is flexible during the day. Our afternoons are busy with activities, however making time to take care of furred and feathered friends before or after activities is always welcomed. I have a fenced in area where our dogs are free to go in and out for potty breaks and to lay on the deck in the sunshine. Our pups would be happy to show your pup(s) the ropes around here. I am also happy to come to your home to take care of your pets.

“Samella was great to work with. She took great care of our dog. She was inquisitive as to our preferences for the dogs care and followed them as we requested. We would definitely book with her again if we were in the area again.”

Angela B.
“Angela took wonderful care of our dog twice now. She had a big backyard to play in, she was well cared for and the kids played with our dog daily - she came home very tired! They went above and beyond and even got her special bones and gave my son a snack when we dropped the dog off. Overall a very warm environment to be dropping our beloved pet off to when we left town. I’d rather my dog go to a family that welcomes her and enjoys her for a week than a boarding situation. Angela is a wonderful person and even better dog sitter. 10/10 recommend.”

Analise D.
“I recently hired Analise to take care of my beloved lab while I was away on a trip, and I couldn't be happier with her service. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of excellent. First and foremost, she was incredibly attentive to Zoey’s needs. She asked detailed questions about my dog's habits and took notes to ensure that she provided personalized care. Throughout the stay, she sent regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my trip without worrying about Zoey. In addition to being attentive, Analise was also very professional and reliable. She showed up on time for the initial visit and for the actual dog-sitting appointment. She followed my instructions and went above and beyond by taking my dog on long walks and playing with her extensively! Overall, I highly recommend Analise to anyone who needs a reliable, attentive, and caring dog sitter. She truly went above and beyond to take care of Zoey, and I'm so grateful!”

Heather R.
“Heather took care of our menagerie several times while we were away. We have 11 pets and she was coming to our house twice a day to take care of 9 of them. That's 4 rabbits, a guinea pig and 4 birds. Not only did she feed them and change their litter and water but she played with them. And I know that because she sent pics. But also, she recognized that one of the rabbits was in stasis and though she contacted me and let me know, I knew she would manage it because she knows rabbits. Having Heather take care of your pets is like having Mary Poppins be your children's governess!”

San Diego Country Estates dog parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn't be happier with the care David & Jeanette provided for my dog, Ed. From the moment we met, it was clear that they have a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of dog behavior. Ed felt immediately at ease, which gave me great peace of mind. During Ed’s stay, David & Jeanette went above and beyond, providing regular updates with photos and detailed reports on how Ed was doing. They followed all of my instructions to the letter, ensuring that Ed’s routine remained consistent. The home environment was warm and welcoming, with plenty of space for Ed to play and relax. It was evident that they took the time to engage Ed in activities that he enjoys, which was wonderful to see. I highly recommend David and Jeanette to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. Ed returned home happy and well-adjusted, which is the best testament to the quality of care he received. Thank you guys! Ill make sure to book again :) -Rafael
