“I would not hesitate to book Paula again (which I intend on doing). Both my dogs (Cleo, 5 y/o; and Tigger, 1.5 y/o)(both are Lab/Pit mix - so neither is a small dog). Both dogs can get an attitude when their "Mom & Dad" disappear for a day or longer and shred the mail, magazines and Puffs (which they did this time). Paula was a trooper to clean up these messes and to also handle a request to help with the water level in the swimming pool. Again, I highly recommend Paula”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've personally cared for a wide variety of pets, including three wonderful dogs, a gecko, a cat, and now two beloved cats who keep me on my toes every day. I was raised in a home with nine cats, giving me a deep understanding of feline behavior and care from an early age. Beyond cats and dogs, I have experience raising ducks, caring for horses, fish, crabs, and frogs — so I’m comfortable with pets of all shapes and sizes! What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and passion for animal well-being. I have two years of volunteer experience with Concho Valley PAWS and the San Angelo Animal Shelter, where I worked closely with animals of all temperaments, learning valuable skills in basic behavioral training, grooming, and even teaching fun tricks. I bring patience, attentiveness, and genuine love to every pet I meet, and I'm committed to providing not just care, but enrichment, fun, and trust for every animal in my care. I work part-time from 8 AM to 12 PM on weekdays, which means I'm available for morning potty breaks before work and afternoon visits after I finish. I’m also available for house sitting and extended pet care after 4 PM during the week. On weekends, I have full availability for walks, visits, overnight care, and house sitting — giving you flexibility and peace of mind whenever you need it! “Melissa has had and trained pets her whole life! She does really well with energetic pups, willing to run & play with them if they need that. She’s also very attentive on walks, knows how to gauge her pet’s body language and redirect if a dog is showing any signs of discomfort. Which is a huge help for leash-reactive dogs! In the home, I know that she happily welcomes dog cuddles & loves to spoil pups with attention and treats! She also understands shy dogs that take a little more time and just need space. She does great with medical care of dogs, as well, as she has personal experience with that. My dogs are very needy and picky, and they absolutely love Melissa, and I would fully entrust her with their care!”

About: I’m not as familiar with cats as i am dogs but i’m willing to give it a try and look after your baby’s. I did work with cats at the vet office. I’m not as experienced with cats as i am dogs but i would love to help anyone any way i can that needs it. I know it’s hard just leaving your animals at home but i will try my best to make sure they’re taken care of. I have never owned a cat myself but i will make sure they’re safe and taken care of! I do know cats love to escape and are very timid. I will make sure they’re safe comfortable and safe.

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my home. I love dogs and as a child always wanted to help my mom feed the dogs and take them for walks. Your fur baby is my fur baby too! I am currently working part time, and have a flexible schedule that can fit most people’s needs. I am willing to work with any kind of schedule! Depending on your home, I will adapt to the environment. Any time your fur baby is outside, so will I! It is important that they are monitored to ensure their safety!
