“Brianna was so good with our 2 fur babies. I can tell they were well loved and cared for while we were out of town. She did a great job of making sure they had their meds daily and fed their special diet. I definitely recommend Brianna!”

“Cheyenne was super communicative, kind, conscientious, and helpful. Our shy girl Rosie never hid from her and even let Cheyenne pet her on the second day they met, which is unheard of. We could not be happier and are so grateful that Cheyenne was available on short notice and took wonderful care of our girls.”

About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was 8 and I started volunteering at our local veterinary clinic. I have cared for 3 litters of puppies and always owned 3 or more dogs. Ive had senior rescues that need constant medical attention and full bred spoiled ones so I’ve experienced it all. I like to keep my dogs on a good feeding schedule and love giving baths and taking on frequent walks. Ever since I was little I’ve been petsitting every dog I got the chance to and loved every minute of it. I don’t work weekends and only have morning class during the week. I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs and love taking them out places when the weather is nice. My schedule is pretty flexible. I have 4 dogs but only keep one in my apartment at a time so I have room for yours!! I rotate mine weekly. When they are not at my apartment they stay at my parents house. Here at my apartment I have a large kennel but the dogs just stay out in my bedroom even while I’m gone. They love napping on the bed and play in the living room all day long. We love going out to the dog park and getting pup cups. I take my dogs almost all places they are welcome.

About: I’ve been a pet sitter since graduating college in 2019 and even took care of my roommates dog when needed. I am I full time vet tech so I have knowledge on administrating medication and how to care for senior dogs/cats. Bully breeds have a special place in my heart and the few I’ve taken care of are on the anxious side so if you need more than one meet and greet place let me know. It’s best that your fur baby can trust me while I care for them in your place. I’m a full time vet tech, so my schedule can be long. If you have taken your fur baby to the doctor before then that’s just a small glimpse on what I do almost everyday of the week. Please feel free to reach out to get a better understanding of my work schedule. If there are certain things that your fur baby prefers please let me know. I try my best to keep everything the same for them while they are in my care.
“Kacie was amazing. She genuinely cared about Barron. She helped us out short notice and was flexible with our changing vacation travel plans. She gave Barron his medication and sent regular pictures. We could tell Barron was thoroughly enjoying himself and was being loved on while his family was away. We were never worried about him and were able to enjoy our trip. We will request Kacie over and over.”

About: I grew up having dog’s. So, I’m very familiar with taking care of them and knowing that dogs are more than just pets they are part of the family! I’m the designated dog sitter with my family and friends. Now that I moved away from my home state I’m looking to continue taking care of dogs to fulfill my free time! I’m a stay at home fiancé and a college student. So, I have plenty of free time to take care of your dog! This is something I really enjoy doing! When I take care of your pets in your home I will make sure I clean up after them. Also I want to make sure you feel comfortable with me being in your home when I visit. I will follow exactly what you need me to do for the visit. There will be a good communication between us so there is trust!

About: I’m a dog mom to a 7 year old Goldendoodle rescue and she is my world. I have had cats and dogs in my house since I was little and have lots of experience with animals of all ages. I’m currently in Nursing School at Angelo State and played soccer there for 2 1/2 years. I’m also a nanny, I take care of two and 3 year old girls. I’ve trained puppies to go potty outside, sit, lay down, roll over and spin. I’m currently free during the day due to school being out for the summer. That being said I have plenty of time to walk, potty, and love on your babies! I usually take care of animals like they are my own. Lots of love, snuggles, and outside time if that’s what the animal needs. When it comes to specific I tend to just follow what information the families give me and fill in the gaps with how I take care of my dog!
“Bre was so exceptional to my fur babies. She is definitely a great person to care for your animals while you are away. Bre I’ll be requesting your help in the near future☺️”

About: Twenty years ago I became a foster mom to a cat and my love for animals began. Since then I became the mother to fifteen stray cats, numerous chickens and even a tortoise decided to call me mom. But I never thought my heart could be so full until I became mom to three beautiful Australian Shepherds. They are my life! I speak fluent woof and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my dogs and yours. I was in education for sixteen years when I decided my life needed a little furry entertainment so I started a new chapter and turned my five year part time pet gig into a professional business called Tina’s Paw Prints. I started with drop in visits and expanded to boarding and doggy daycare in my home! So I will always be available for your pets! All dogs are free to roam my house and large backyard. If your pet sleeps in a crate then they’ll be in a crate at night, otherwise they’ll be free to sleep wherever they choose.
“Caitlyn arrived punctually and listened attentively to pertinent information about our 7 pets. She was friendly and pleasant and interacted well with our pets. We enjoy meeting her.”

“Dallas is awesome. I trust her 100%. My dog is iffy with strangers and she was able to come to meet us before their walk! Six months and one more dog later she’s still the dog walker I turn to!”

Keep in touch with owners, ask preemptive questions, and use my many years of experience to help create and calm and safe environment while your pet and/or home is in my care.

About: Hey there! I’m Shay—a lifelong pet lover with tons of experience caring for all kinds of animals. I grew up with medium to large dogs and have always had a knack for understanding what pets need. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of taking care of a fun kitten named Moss, an awesome American Bulldog named Blanche, a spirited Australian Shepherd named Rocko, and a friendly Hound Dog mix named Mogli, among others. My journey with these pets has not only deepened my love for animals but also equipped me with a solid understanding of how to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, stress-free environment where every pet can thrive, whether they need a little extra playtime or some quiet cuddles. I’m pretty flexible overall, but here’s a quick heads-up on my regular commitments: • Wednesdays: Church from 6–8 PM • Sundays: Church from 9:30–12:30 AM and 7–9 PM Other than those times, my schedule is wide open—even Saturdays! Whether your furry friend follows a strict schedule or just loves some extra cuddle time, we can chat during our meet and greet about what works best for them, and I’ll make sure to stick to—or adapt—their routine.

“This was the first time we had anyone other than family watch our dogs, and I'm so glad we chose Cody. He kept our normal routine and was happy to do things just the way we like! Our pups were happy and relaxed when we got home. Thanks Cody!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - San Angelo
Cheyenne was so attentive and caring to my kitty while I was on leave for 2 weeks. She checked in once a day as directed and always provided detailed updates. She took the time to give plenty of lovings and play time. As my kitty has a sensitive stomach and can be prone to sick moments from time to time, she went above and beyond to clean up and notify me of the sick spots each time they occurred. She was always very responsive and it was easy to see that she treats all the pets she looks after as if they were her own. She’s especially understanding to military personnel who have to go on leave. I can’t recommend her enough.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
