“I could not have asked for a better babysitter for my large dog with a couple special needs. I got tons of pictures of my baby having so much fun playing with other dogs and having a blast. Elizabeth is AWESOME. She was professional, understanding, personable, and answered my endless text messages very quickly. I couldn't recommend her enough!!! She played with my dog, gave her cuddles, and let me know that she sat by the door around the time I usually get home. My only disappointment was that my dog didn't seem to want to come home with me, she loved Elizabeth so much. I moved here from out of state and am so relieved to have a babysitter that I can trust to take better care of my dog than me.”

“Beyond the best experience I could have ever asked for. Kate has been a true blessing to me and my family as she opened her doors to my puppies. We absolutely loved all the pictures and videos. I felt completely safe booking with Kate. My family will definitely be returning. When booking Kate have no worries, she is truly the best!!! You will have zero regrets ! We absolutely love our “aunt” Kate and are so very thankful for her. ♥️”

“Nikol took great care of our fur babies and was super helpful with taking our dog to the vet when she had complications from a previous insect sting pop up while we were out of town. Nikol was a an absolute lifesaver and I'd highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was 8 and I started volunteering at our local veterinary clinic. I have cared for 3 litters of puppies and always owned 3 or more dogs. Ive had senior rescues that need constant medical attention and full bred spoiled ones so I’ve experienced it all. I like to keep my dogs on a good feeding schedule and love giving baths and taking on frequent walks. Ever since I was little I’ve been petsitting every dog I got the chance to and loved every minute of it. I don’t work weekends and only have morning class during the week. I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs and love taking them out places when the weather is nice. My schedule is pretty flexible. I have 4 dogs but only keep one in my apartment at a time so I have room for yours!! I rotate mine weekly. When they are not at my apartment they stay at my parents house. Here at my apartment I have a large kennel but the dogs just stay out in my bedroom even while I’m gone. They love napping on the bed and play in the living room all day long. We love going out to the dog park and getting pup cups. I take my dogs almost all places they are welcome.
“Alex and Sherissa are a very nice couple. They helped us out with accepting a last minute request for boarding and daycare. They asked us about there feeding times, sleeping habits and what they like to do for fun. We were very comfortable trusting them with our 2 dogs. I highly recommend them for your family needs. 10 STARS”

About: I’ve been taking care of my parents dog ever since we got them, including my sister’s pet remi, she’s a sweetheart, I’ve fed and watered them and taken them outside, I’d play with them and occasionally take them out on a walk, my brother took out his dog and while I don’t have a dog, remi feels like my dog, so I took her out walks if we have time, I just love dogs and would take care of them if I have the chance too. I am currently working at stripes but need to find a better job soon, the job pays well, but the people are….uh nice? But sometimes they don’t really care about stuff sometimes, my trainer didn’t really train me so the manager had to, and plus, i can stay up all night, and wake up in the noon. Or go to sleep early and wake up early, so my schedule is okayish I have a apartment now instead of a home since my parents are getting divorced, so I’m staying with my mom, and our home is nice and safe and simple, we have a dog place where poeple can walk there dogs to, so they can poop and pee, plus, I take my dog there too, and I think remi needs a play date ever since my brothers dog died, so this will be nice for her too.

About: I was raised on a farm and a lifelong pet owner myself. I’ve watched pets for friends. And have given them my full attention and devotion! I have plenty of free time! I do not work at the moment now that school is out. My availability is extremely flexible! ☺️ ❤️ I have a dachshund named Josey and we go for walks daily, we also leash her and walk around the yard. I’d be happy to do the same for any pup coming our way.

About: I have taken care of dogs for family and friends frequently and I just love to take care of them. I am well experienced with big and little dogs and have a big yard and nice neighborhood for them to play around in. I am a full time online college student so my day is pretty much open most of the time! I may have an appointment here or there. I love on them, play with them in the backyard and take them out for walks! I will take them out on walks through the neighborhood and just run around with them.
“Tina was wonderful! Maggie took right to her and was perfectly comfortable around her. Tina took great care of Maggie and sent plenty of updates with pictures. She even watered my plants for me. :) We will use her again as the need arises.”

“Michael was an excellent sitter! His pup, Daphne Doo, and my Daisy Mae had a wonderful time playing with each other non stop!! We are feeling very lucky to have a new friend to play with!”

About: I’ve had all kinds of animals my whole life they are my passion keeping them happy and safe if my number 1 priority I do have 4 dogs already they are cage trained and dog and cat friendly I work night shift so I’m available all day to attend to your pups I’m only working 8-4 am it leaves me with plenty of time to attend to your furr baby’s!! I have 4 dogs that are very friendly with dogs and cats of all sizes i also have a cat so they will all have friends to keep them company the males are fixed!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - San Angelo
Cheyenne was great! My vet called last minute about an opening for a much needed dental, which had some complications, and she took it all in stride was able to get my baby to the dental! She also was able to also take her back the next day for a follow up and give the prescriptions the vet sent home. Cheyenne was the best!!!

Our Panini stayed with Justin and his family for 2 nights (3 days) and seemed to have a blast. When Panini has stayed with family or friends in the past she’s had trouble eating consistently, but that was not an issue at all this time around. She settled right in and had her own mini vacation while we had ours. Additionally, we decided the day before our trip (on Christmas day nonetheless!) that Panini shouldn’t come with us, and Justin was able to help us out majorly by taking her in. We also left pretty early in the morning and he was able to accommodate us. We had planned to be back later in the evening which was also not a problem, though we got back early anyway. We didn’t have much service where we were so we weren’t very active in responding to updates, but he kept sending them anyway, and we loved to see the photos of her when we did get service again. His home was also very clean. He had a yard, she was allowed to roam around the house, and he mentioned she would sit on the couch or in bed with them. All of this I’m sure made her feel right at home. This was our first Rover experience, absolutely would book again!

Sabine was very thoughtful and communicative to our needs! Daisy was well cared for and had a great time making new friends with Sabine’s dogs! They got to run and play together a ton, which is great because my girl is high energy!! I also got the most amazing Christmas picture of Daisy that I will treasure forever! Thank you for loving my girl like she was your own!

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
