About: I have been caring for dogs since 2016. I have experience with high maintenance dogs that require special medications and help going potty outside. I have time to play, snuggle, and take dogs for hikes. I have experience potty training animals and have been successful potty training several seniors. I prefer small to medium sized dogs, but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. They must be okay with small dogs, as I have two Chihuahuas of my own. I allow my dogs on the bed, but if you prefer your dog not be on the bed, that can be arranged. I currently don't work and therefore can spend most of my time with the animals, aside from my regular chores, like cleaning house and shopping. My home doesn't have a fence so your dog will be on a leash when outside at all times, including when we hike. Length of hikes will be based on your dog's endurance level. I always carry plenty of water. I am very attentive to animal language and watch for behaviors like heavy breathing, excessive panting, lip licking, excessive yawning, or other obvious signs of distress such as limping or lethargy. I watch for these behaviors during all activities, even if we are simply relaxing. When we set up an appointment, I will want to know what to do during an emergency, beyond calling you. I will want their vaccine status, as I will only accept vaccinated dogs unless they are too young. I will also want to know how often they hike and for what distance. If they are crate trained, I will need their crate. We can work out the details, depending on your dog's needs. I am very flexible and I want to do what is right for you and your dog.

“Tanya was AMAZING with regards to our pup. She went above and beyond to make our 3mo old pup feel at home. She was able to adapt to our pups needs and ensured that all of her needs were met. We even got sweet updates and photos on how she was doing :) thank you Tanya!!!”

“Olga took great care of my puppy for 3 days. They go on walks and keep the puppy entertained. Very grateful for the service and picture/video updates. Would book again.”

“Chelsey is amazing with my pup, Daisy :) her two senior dogs are a great match - Daisy is a younger dog, but she has some physical issues and I prefer a calm environment for her. They get along really well, too! Daisy loves her - she cuddled up with her to say "goodbye" when I picked her up, and I'd never seen that before! I am so thankful for Chelsey, and we love doggy daycare twice a week with her!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats, and I have a cat of my own! I have always loved taking dogs out on walks and snuggling with cats. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, and the odd reptile or bird, and I love getting the opportunity to gain more experience! I am available weekdays and weekends currently, and when school starts in late September, I will be available only on weekends and weekdays after 4pm. I live in an apartment complex that has a fence around the entire property. There’s a courtyard for dog walking/relief, and my apartment is pet friendly since I own a cat of my own. I walk dogs often, and feed my pets on every morning and night. I have a harness for my cat since he likes going outside, and I know not all cats like that. I give plenty of attention to my pets, and I might spoil them once in a while!

About: I've helped care for several types of animals, from horses to chickens to dogs, and I always love the time spent with all pets (especially doggos)! I'm very outdoorsy and so I love taking pets on runs or hikes, however can also be happy spending a relaxing time with indoor animals as well! I recently moved up to Bellingham from Salt Lake City, UT, where I previously worked at the University of Utah Emergency Department, and will now be doing Wildland Fire EMS in Washington as my primary job. I'm hoping that my background in EMS helps speak to the responsibility and communication skills that I've developed, making me a reliable and safe pet sitter. Because I work in Emergency med, my schedule can be variable, but I do my best to keep it accurately updated 4-6 weeks out. When requesting care I will confirm scheduling prior to booking, I always communicate it with clients in advance. I can accommodate most client routines and requests for their pets, is asked of my in a client's home, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, and if a little extra time or attention is needed I'm always happy to do that as well. I love taking dogs on runs or hikes with me, too!

“Rianna took great care of Freddy during his stay! She was super accommodating and sent awesome updates. Freddy is already scheduled for his next stay with her! Would definitely recommend!”

Britne G.
“I'm a 75-year-old retired veterinarian. Britne was working at the local non-profit, and I called to ask if there were any social programs in our small town to help care for animals when people were in the hospital, as I was unfortunately. She told me there were none, but she offered to help sit my dog and also do some chores. My dog has a complicated med schedule and can be very unfriendly to strangers. Britne took amazing care of my best friend and constant companion, and I wish more young people had as much empathy, compassion, and responsibility as this wonderful young woman. Hire her!”

“Allie has responsibly cared for dogs and cats. She ensures dogs get exercise and outside time. She is often seen taking the dogs on hikes and camping trips She also loves cats and cats love her too. She has cared for two cats in the past until one passed. Then Jesse made the road trip with her to his new home with her in the PNW. He is getting socialized really well with other people and some other pets. Allie is a responsible young adult that I completely trust to care for my pets”
