“I was definitely a nervous new mom dropping Rosie off with someone I just met but Jordan was kind, patient, and thorough. She is also extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Rosie had the best day on her farm!”

“Marcy is beyond wonderful! She’s so caring and I can tell Porter has a good time while he stays with her and her dog Charlie. He comes home completely I can’t seem to keep him awake which is amazing because he’s just a 3 month old puppy and is typically a wild child in the afternoons! Marcy was so kind to take him on at a late request and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my little man. She made me feel so comfortable immediately! If I could give her more than five stars I would! She is so kind and I can guarantee she’d treat anyone’s pup like the special little fur ball they are :)”

“Carol has been very responsive and has taken in our girl Georgie. Georgie is a little timid and backwards at first, but Carol made her feel right at home. Georgie took to her welcoming, home environment and settled right in. She gets along great with the other babies being baby/dog sat, and Carol is very good with her. We will be using Carol in 2025!”

About: I'm from PR, and I've been a dog rescuer since 2011. I have tons of experience caring for animals and giving them the love and treatment that they deserve. I love what I do. I retire and moved to Pittsburgh on February, 2023. It makes me a perfect match for your doggy. I will treat them as if they were mine. NO cages. I have a fenced runner connected to the pets' room that allows them to safely go in and out whenever they want. You can bring their bed or any special toys. I foster rescued dogs from PR that came to Pittsburgh looking for a second chance of life, and the money earn through Rover is used to cover their health and traveling expenses. I work from home, and my office is in the room where they will spend their stay, so they will be with me most of the day, and they will be able to play with my own dogs under supervision. If they are potty trained and well behaved, they will have permission to access all the house. To be able to satisfy you pup's needs, I will ask you to write down your special instructions and promise I will follow them as written. You will receive a lot of daily pictures of your furry friends.

“Beatriz was amazing! She sent me lots of photos throughout the day and was so quick to respond whenever I asked for an update or more photos. I’m a first-time puppy owner and she was extremely helpful with giving me tips and advice on how to train my pup. She was very accommodating regarding pickup and drop-off times and my pup had a great time with her. Would definitely book with her again! Very reliable and trustworthy.”

If your request is longer, feel free to ask about boarding or drop-ins as alternatives. 📍Rover’s distance estimates aren’t always accurate, so I kindly ask for your address before scheduling a meet-and-greet to confirm whether you’re within my service area. Bookings outside of this radius may include a small travel fee. 🚨 Meet & Greet Required: I require a meet-and-greet for all new clients—regardless of the service—so I can get to know your pet(s), answer questions, and make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. Thanks so much for understanding! 🐕 🐈 🐰 As a former teacher and lifelong animal lover, I bring reliability, warmth, and over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals. I’m especially comfortable with seniors, puppies, and shy pets—and I’ve even fostered rabbits through rescue groups. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, medication, nail trims, or just some company, I’ll provide attentive care and detailed updates to keep you informed and reassured. I’m fully insured for added peace of mind. 🪴 For small animal rates (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.), please message me directly. ⏰ Schedule & Availability I'm currently home full-time in Murrysville, which allows me to offer a flexible schedule and consistent, attentive care throughout the week. I’m available for house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking most weekdays and weekends—including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. About: Growing up surrounded by a variety of animals—from reptiles and birds to cats, and dogs—I’ve developed a deep understanding of pet care. Over the years, family and friends have relied on me to look after their pets, trusting my attentive and compassionate nature. With my own dog, I’ve completed puppy and advanced obedience classes, explored agility training, and even participated in AKC FastCAT trials. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s part of who I am. My schedule is highly flexible, so I’m available when you and your pet need care most. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a midday walk, or a cozy stay while you’re away, I’m here to make pet parenting easier and stress-free. I have two children (ages 7 and 1½) who are gentle, curious, and adore spending time with pets. Alongside them is our friendly 4-year-old Dalmatian, who is crate-trained and well-socialized. We live on a spacious property with an invisible fence, but I understand not all pets are familiar with that setup—so your dog will always be walked on a leash for safety and comfort. I also have room for an additional crate to provide a secure space for your pet if I need to step out, ensuring their well-being at all times. Your furry family member will be treated with the same care and attentiveness I give my own.

About: Hi I’m Alex! I am 25 years old. I recently graduated from college in North Dakota. Throughout college, I would care for various dogs, puppies, cats, fish, and even horses. I grew up raising a black lab from kindergarten all the way until I graduated high school. I didn’t have a dog in college, but when I dog sat, I treated them as if they were my own. Fast forward to today: I achievers my dreams of becoming a pilot. It seems like a lot but I have a pretty flexible schedule and I work 7 days on 7 days off. During my off week, I would like to continue dog sitting and caring for others. Not only does it bring me joy to care for pets, but I love reliving pet owners of their stress of finding care. Petcare should not be another stressor when booking with me! I can provide references if needed. For BOARDING: I have 2 huskies: Jack (6yr, male neutered) and Daniel (6mon, male not neutered). My house is big enough to separate dogs if needed. The dogs have their own room which they are comfortable in. I am a pilot so my schedule is very flexible. My rotation is 7 days on and 7 days off. I am looking to share my services on my 7 days off. At my home: I have a pretty big house with a descent sized yard. Please bring a collar/harness so we can go outside and on walks. I have 2 huskies but they have their own room for separation. They are dog friendly and gentile/nonvocal. At your home: I stay for most of the day and will send texts messages if I have to leave. I will also send a text when I return. I’m never away for more than 3 hours. I keep most of my belongings to myself and I am very clean. You wouldn’t notice I was there, but your pets will!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was born and have cared for them myself since I was 10 years old. My dog of 14 years recently passed away and I've decided to sign up for Rover to get my puppy fix keeping other dogs company while their owners are at work, traveling etc. I work from home full time, have a large fenced in yard and can give your dog(s) the love and attention they deserve! I currently work from home full time so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am available from any time in the morning until whenever needed in the evening. I can take breaks as needed to walk your pups in addition to letting them run around in our fenced-in yard as much as they please! I have a large fenced-in yard where I can play with them and be fully-attentive or let them relax on their own outside if preferred and acceptable to you. Our home is air conditioned/heated and comfortable to your pets while you are working/away.

About: I’m that lady you invited to the barbecue but will find her socializing in the corner with your pet! I have farm, kennel, pet store, dog training, as well as over 35 years of personal pet care experience. I am dog and cat First Aid/CPR certified, can give medications with ease, administer shots, and have disabled and geriatric pet care experience. Pawsitively Faithful Pet Sitting is my in-home business, but my primary job is also a work from home career with UPMC. That being said, I am always here for your furry friend's around the clock care 😊! Currently I have a Boston Terrier named Brixy, and he is my joy. He’s very well behaved but because he is special needs (medically speaking), he remains in my office when we have any pet visitors stay with us. There’s never a shortage on love or playtime in this house! I keep plenty of extra supplies on hand (bowls, toys, treats, etc) and have an "air-tight" fenced in yard along with tie out cables of all different sizes to accommodate your pet if you have extra concern and wish me to use one. I can not even begin to imagine how nerve wracking it must feel to leave your pet in the care of a complete stranger and for that I can empathize! Words can never express the level of my reassurance to you that your little one will be looked after as if they were my very own in every protective and motherly manner possible. ***Please understand, this is a legitimate and legally run pet sitting business for me. In the state of PA, (even if you're only watching one dog), you must have a kennel license and pass a very detailed inspection with the local dog warden. I have passed this inspection but it is a 100% PA State requirement that if your pet stays in my home, you must provide me with a copy of proof of their rabies vaccination or exemption. Without this, I could receive a massive fine if they drop in for a surprise inspection of my home. With a work from home career, I have plenty of time to devote to your pets care in my house. Keeping a perfectly executed schedule for them to go out, exercise, eat meals, snuggle, etc. is very important to me. I have my pet sitting routine down to a science! Generally, when they wake up, I take them out to the fully enclosed, fenced yard and either let them run, or I will use a tie out cable (I have all sizes) if the pet parent likes me to use one for extra safety purposes. Then we eat breakfast and settle in so I can start my work from home job. Throughout the rest of the day I will take breaks to let them outside every couple of hours, and spend time giving them love, attention, and playtime. My shifts end at 2:30pm, and depending on the weather, we usually go outside to play fetch or just enjoy some sunshine. Around 5 or 6pm, they get dinner and we start to wind down for the evening with some relaxation time watching Turners Classic movies 😄. There is another potty break before bed around 8 or 9pm at which point we usually call it day.

Having 2 dogs of her own, I have seen how she interacts lovingly with her little buddies and knew I could trust her to provide the utmost care to mine. Scott G.
“Scott would be a perfect candidate for Rover. He has owned dogs his whole life and has been actively caring for dogs for the last 18 years. Scott works from home so he has extra time to take dogs for walks, play fetch in his fenced in yard, and care for them in any extra way like giving the dog medicine or caring for their health. Scott has a comfortable house and the dog will have ample room to play and lay around. Scott is the perfect candidate for Rover.”
