“Alexa and Alex were amazing! Great communicators and were very accommodating. They were flexible with pickup/drop off times, they helped a bit with crate training and separation training. They even offered to meet in person first to make sure Mabel was comfortable with them and Shay. But most importantly, Alexa and Alex were so sweet to Mabel and I could see by photos that Mabel was very happy being with them, in their home. Mabel and Shay were such best friends and were always so excited to see each other! I will always go to Alexa and Alex (and Shay) first for any babysitter needs in the future! 10/10!!!”

We can’t wait to welcome your dog into our home and provide them with a fun, caring, and comfortable stay! Nothing makes us happier than seeing one of our guests excited to come for another visit. My husband and I work from home. I am an accountant and my husband is in the creative arts. We love having an excuse to step away from our desks, go outside and spend some time with our canine guests. We have a friendly old King Charles Spaniel that Can keep your dog company and we live on a beautiful secluded circle with almost no traffic for long safe walks.

About: I've loved and cared for 11 family dogs and countless friends' dogs and cats since I was 12. I have a deep respect for animals and am very attentive to their signals and communication. I will absolutely adhere to your routines and ensure your pet is comfortable in my home and with me first and foremost. For me, pets are family, and I treat your babies as I would my own! My day always starts with coffee and my dogs. Your dog will receive 3 walks per day, minimum, and will be free to roam the lower level of my home, where I work from my home office. My dogs have their space upstairs in our main house, and my guests downstairs with me. This ensures I can attend to my boarders' needs immediately and help them get acclimated to a new environment with new smells. I have direct access to my backyard from my downstairs space and will keep your dog safely leashed when outside.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had a deep love for animals. From playful puppies to older, more laid-back companions, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m passionate about providing them with the attention, care, and exercise they need to stay happy and healthy. Whether it's taking them on long walks or simply hanging out with them, I’m here to give your pet the best care possible I do work full time, but definitely have the time to take care of your dog or cat. I work from home 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday) and would be available on weekends with a few days notice. There is plenty of space to play inside and outside. I live in a private home with a fenced yard and one friendly dog at home. I’m fully committed to giving your pet the attention they deserve!

About: Hello I have been watching dogs for several years now. I truly love the companionship of dogs. I have watched many breeds of dogs including Labradors, Pit Bulls, Yorkies, you name it. I have many dog toys at home and a sizeable yard for the dog to go potty in. I also have a large home so your pet will have plenty of space to roam around. I will send pictures daily and let you know how your dog is doing. If your dog has any special needs or requires any sort of medical attention I will be there to provide the required assistance. I also have a small dog at home and she loves the company of other dogs. I hope to hear from you soon!

About: We have been offline from Rover, taking repeat customers, and personal referrals, which was keeping us very busy! Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab Lulu, is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover will be a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.
