“We are so thankful to have had Sarah to drop in and take care of our cat while we were away. Our cat is very skittish and afraid around strangers. But Sarah was so patient with her, respected her boundaries, but was consistent with trying to earn her trust. By the end of the week she was petting and playing with her. Sarah stuck to our schedule, did everything we requested, and provided us great updates and pictures. I highly recommend!”

“So glad Tiffany was able to take care of our kitty while we were on vacation! Definitely loved all the pictures and updates. She got along with our cat great. Even though our cat tends to give strangers the never-ending glare, she opened up and enjoyed Tiffany’s visits. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing someone was able to entertain our kitty and keep her happy and healthy! Will definitely book again in the future.”

“Colleen did such a great job with our pets! Not only was she consistent and reliable, but she went above and beyond to make sure all our animals had great care while we were on vacation. I will definitely hire her again!”

About: 🩷 AVAILABLE FULL TIME 🩷 meet & greets with all new clients 🩷detailed photos and updates 🩷 extra cuddles, kisses, & treats !! Hi, my name is Sydney, your pet’s new bestie! I’m a huge huge animal lover with over five years of experience caring and connecting with animals of all types. I prioritize just that- connecting with your fur babies! All animals have their own distinct, unique personality. I take the time to learn and understand your pet(s) so that they still feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away! I currently have two lovely cats of my own (Rocky and Mocha). I also have two dogs (Lucy and Mufasa) and dozens of chickens! I am extremely passionate and dedicated to giving quality care to my favorite fur babies! I have been regularly volunteering at a local cat rescue and doggy daycare since I was 14 years old. I am comfortable administering oral medication. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry loved with someone you hardly know- I try my best to make this experience as easy and smooth as possible for everyone! We’ll schedule a meeting (unless it’s a last minute booking!) and discuss routines, medication, diet specifications, and anything else we may need to go over! I will keep your pet’s everyday routines in place to the best of my ability. I take lots of pictures and give frequent, detailed updates throughout the day. Your fur babies are in very good hands!! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry fam! 🐾 I am a substitute teacher and currently enrolled in college, so I’m in a period of down time (June-Aug)!! I am available anytime, any day needed! Requested pet info : 🐾 your pet’s everyday routine 🐾 any food specifications / schedule 🐾 any medications/medical info 🐾 their favorite things to do! I want to make sure your pet has a great time with me! I ask for these things to keep their daily routine in place and to make sure they are safe and having fun! We can talk about these things and more at a scheduled meet n’ greet! Thank you so much 😽🐶🩷 I’m a substitute teacher and college student, so I currently have a lot of down time! I’m available anytime you need, don’t hesitate to contact! I will keep up the regular routines that you have in place for your fur babies to the best of my ability! I want to ensure that they feel safe and comfortable around me. For cats, I will clean out the litter box(es) at least once daily. For dogs, I will make sure to let them out every 2-3 hours or more frequently if requested/noted!
“Kimberly was great!! Willow absolutely loved her. She communicated so well and took the absolute best care of Willow while checking in on her. I appreciate her flexibility. I was in a pinch and she really came through for us! Thank you soo much Kimberly.”

About: I’m a pre‑vet student with two years of hands‑on experience working in dog kennels and boarding facilities. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, and pets who need special care. I also have experience with timid, reactive, or nervous animals and always move at their pace. Whether it’s a big dog who loves long walks or a small pup who needs gentle handling, I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust in every visit. This summer, I’ll be in classes from 10–5, but I’m fully available for morning and evening care. For pet‑sitting, I stop by in the morning for a shorter visit, then spend extended time with your pets after class for enrichment, walks, and companionship. For dog‑walking, I’m available after 5:30 PM and in the mornings between 7:30-9 AM. I’m comfortable supporting pets with special requirements, including training, potty training, and medications. I can crate at night if preferred or allow free‑roam based on your pet’s routine. If your dog isn’t comfortable on walks, I’m happy to provide yard play or indoor enrichment instead. During sits, I typically give at least one 30‑minute walk a day, often longer when appropriate. For cats, I offer enrichment tailored to their personality — playtime, affection, or quiet companionship if they prefer space. When owners are comfortable, I also enjoy taking dogs on hikes and using a secure harness buckle in the car. While I can’t guarantee a hike every stay, I always aim to include at least one long enrichment walk or adventure during my time with your pet.

“Khalil did an outstanding job of taking care of my dog keeping me informed of everything that was going on and he was always prompt and on time. He also provided pictures and videos and ensure that my house was locked up and secured when he left. I would recommend him to anyone outstanding job.”

About: I’ve had all animals, big and small. Mostly labs, doodles, and retrievers, but also bully’s, Great Danes, and yorkies. We have a huge fenced in backyard and 2 doodles with the middle name “zoomies”. Our family is looking forward to connecting with you, and an opportunity to love on your pups. Someone is usually always home so crate time is very minimal unless that’s the preference. Plenty of time and space to run and play if weather permits. Huge fenced in back yard for running and playing as well as 2 doodles and 2 children who adore dogs to keep them company while they are hanging with us.
About: Aside from experience taking care of Cats, and Dogs, I also am experienced in Lizard Care, and I am willing to watch over exotic pets! I am relatively always free. I do plan to start college hopefully soon. However if something comes up, I am always very communitive with clients. I unfortunately do not have the space at my own house to board pets, however as someone staying overnight, or just popping in to take care of things, I am always respective of rules and boundaries. Tell me what I can or can't do, and I will follow that to a T. Pet wise, ill feed, water, and even clean up after them if any accidents occur. and I will ensure to give them lots of love and care as if they were my own. My services also extend to exotic pets. I am more experienced in care of reptiles, specifically lizards, (I am a very avid reptile lover), however if I have any questions I am able to communicate and look to my employer for answers and instruction. Pricing for exotic pets will follow the same listing for dogs!
“Carrie is absolutely amazing! We are 100% repeat customers from here on. She was great with the dogs, and even worked with them on their training while we were gone. She is very punctual and professional, and communicates very well to let you know everything is going okay. She takes amazing pictures and clearly loves working with animals. Thanks Carrie, you will be hearing back from us again!!!”

“This is the second time I've used Aneliese's service (drop-in visits) and feel very comfortable doing so. She's always on time and stays with my dog for a good while during the visits. I highly recommend Aneliese's service to anyone looking for dog/animal care!”

About: I’m a huge animal lover 🥰 and have about 14 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, but mostly smaller breeds. I’ve been around dogs and helping take care of them since I was 11, and I enjoy giving the love, attention, and care they need. I also volunteered at an animals shelter for about 6 months, giving me the chance to work with dogs in need. We have about 4 dogs total in my family, so sometimes I will have 1, or 2, or none at home with me I am new to the city so as of right now, I am not employed. I have open availability to care for all of your pets needs. My weekly routine is pretty simple. I do computer work, play the game, call my family (literally almost every day) and work out from time to time. Animals tend to be pretty comfortable with me. I would love to hang out and spend some time with your pet, maybe watch a series together or go for a walk if the weather is right. I’m a Starbucks type of a girl, so pup cups are always an option
“Rey was great to work with . She communicated well and was very thorough in taking care of my dog. She went over and beyond to make sure my pup was okay while I was out of town.”

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Saint Pauls stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
