About: I was a pet sitter for a local company in town for 2 years, and I have also watched various relatives’ pets over the years. I’ve had cats my entire life, but a few summers ago my aunt asked me to pet-sit her elderly jack Russell while she was on vacation & I’ve been doing it ever since! In addition to my aunt with the Jack Russell, I’ve also watched another relative’s 3 dogs while she was out of town. One of the dogs had to take medicine every day, so I have experience putting medicine into treats & giving them to a dog. In addition, I also have experience watching my cousin’s cat while he was out of town. I adopted my cat Wilma in January & it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I am admittedly a “cat person” but love all animals, and will gladly watch both dogs and cats. My schedule is fairly flexible at the current moment. I am available Monday through Friday from 7am to 10pm for both drop-in visits and walks. I will do whatever is required to ensure your pet’s routine is not interrupted while you are away. Treats, walks, cuddles, you name it-I can do it all!
About: Long-time dog mom & lover of animals. I have lots of experience with senior dogs and dogs with "special needs" behaviorally (reactive, wary of strangers, etc). About: I'm a very active person and go on walks frequently. I've grown up with a dog and cat for as long as I can remember so that means taking our dog on a daily walk (3x/day actually), and all pets I've encountered take a liking to me. I don’t have pets here in Chicago (Nikki is out family dog) so I will treat your fur-baby like family. I have experience in dog+cat sitting for others, and in babysitting so your pet is in great hands! I love being active and going on walks whether it's to clear my mind, take a work call, go to the store, chat with friends, etc. I am fortunate to have a flexible work schedule but am in the office Tues-Fri so if your pet can be alone for up to 8 hours then I can accommodate! I make sure to read all of the instructions thoroughly and any pertinent information prior to arrival. I give them the same love & affection as if they were my own pet (which is a lot!) because I think animals deserve the same respect and care as we do.
