About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds from a young age, including dogs, cats, birds, and rodents, and more. I worked professionally for a doggy daycare for three years, during that time I worked with 30+ dogs in a yard at a time, and I was promoted to a shift lead and given medication administration permission. I have cared for dogs of all needs and sizes. I have had a passion for training dogs since I was a teenager and would be happy to (with your full permission) help you teach your pup some basics or give them a refresher course on previous training. I would also be more than happy to give extensive updates, videos, and photos, of me and pet’s time with me; as a pet parent myself I understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your fur baby with a stranger and I am more than happy to do whatever may be needed to alleviate some of that stress or worry. I am currently taking an online course for video editing but otherwise, I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available all weekdays and most weekends. Mid to late day would be preferred for walks but for drop-ins and in-your-home pet-sitting, I am very flexible for scheduling. I am very attentive and detail-oriented in my pet care. Any medication, dietary restrictions, or any other rules for your pet(s) and or my time in your home, as I care for your pet(s), will be strictly followed. I also love to learn about your pets likes and dislikes and all of their silly quirks. So feel free to talk my ear off about your fur baby, as every detail will help me to better care for them.

About: I am a Certified Vet Tech as of 2023. I have many essential skills from school that allow me to excel in pet care! Prior to school, I worked full-time as a Kennel Technician from 2018 to 2021. My job was to ensure a nice & clean environment for the animals at our shelter. Although my main focus is dogs and cats, I have cared for many animals. When it comes to my preference, it is definitely domesticated dogs & cats. However, I am a speedy learner, and with some directions and the right equipment, I can still ensure the best care possible for other species! At the moment I am just doing some part-time work. Contacting me is the best way to discuss my availability, my schedule is pretty open currently but will be changing by the end of the year. I am unable to provide boarding, but I have reliable transportation. I follow instructions exactly as the owner provides and would only give advice if asked!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, mice, and a bird. I’ve also owned a frog, snails, and horses. I currently have 2 horses, 3 cats, and a snail. I’ve bottle-fed baby squirrels, rescued baby rabbits and birds, and I genuinely care for all animals. I’m always the person that stops if I see an injured, abandoned , or loose animal. I have been asked a few times if I’m a Disney Princess, since I love animals so much! As for professional experience, I puppy sat a German shepherd while his owner was away. I’ve also dropped in for two larger dogs while their owners were away. I look forward to loving on many more fur babies! Pet care is basically my life! I live for my kids and my pets, so my schedule revolves around them and their needs. I’m excited to add more pets to my care routine. I have a nice backyard that is not fenced but has privacy trees on both sides. We have a two-story deck I can attach a long leash to if needed. We do live on the river, but the yard is raised up from the water. We can take your dog swimming when the weather is nice if you’d like! My kids enjoy the river (youngest is 6!), so it is definitely dog friendly too! If not, that’s okay too. We have 3 cats that can keep your pet company as well. Our two younger kitties will be 1 in November. Our third kitty turned 1 in June. They have not been around other cats besides their siblings but have gone through the introduction stage when we got the youngest two babies. They’ve been around a large German shepherd and interacted well with him. We’ve also had pet mice and a snail they were familiar with. My kids understand how to respect animals while still being a loving, tiny human. We do have small pet carriers for transportation and can purchase a crate if needed. We also have extra pet bowls and a lot of pet toys! We have a large home to provide plenty of space for your babies!

About: Hello Animal lovers! My name is Cassidy! Animal care and rescue is something I have been passionate about since I was a little girl and I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! I worked at the local animal shelter for 5+ years, and continue to volunteer on a regular basis. I am on the Board of Directors for the Kankakee County Humane Foundation that focuses directly on animal rehabilitation and adoption. I have many years of experience in animal rescue and shelter management that includes experience with all types of breeds, behaviors, and special medical care needs as well as a vast knowledge of animal medicine and behavior. Being an at home dog walker/sitter helped get me through college and I continued my boarding services even after and has put me on the path of currently running a dog treat bakery and opening my own boarding facility here soon! I currently work early mornings, leaving my home a quiet safe place for your babies to relax and sleep in. My mid mornings into evenings are free to give your pets and mine the quality play time and love they need and deserve! There will always be either myself or my spouse at the house overnight to monitor or provide any overnight care or attention necessary. I live in a quiet home with two acres in the country! I have three friendly pups of my own who thrive on our daily trips to their favorite trails! Our basement is a designed open play area for our pups and visitors to play and relax during the day/during rainy days and a huge back yard for long walks when weather permits! We currently do not have a fenced in backyard but we live 3 miles away from a fenced in field which we love to take our visitors to! (as long as owner allows it)
