About: I've had family dogs as long as I can remember and enjoy their company. From puppy to senior I have experience with pet needs and would love to treat your furry friend as our own! About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. About: My husband and I are very unique. We would have a farm if we could. We live in a smaller home, but have so much love between our pets and kids. I hope we can raise our 3 kids to love animals as much as we do. I have been a pet sitter for about 15 years, but grew up in a house of animals. My family's huge animal lovers. About: I will treat your fur baby like my own, they will be spoiled! I adore all animals and look forward to meeting yours. My day job is taking care of other peoples horses and training them. I understand the importance of trusting the person who takes care of your four legged family members! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, dog walked and done cat visits since I was young. Boarders must get along with cats (I have one, he’s friendly to everyone) I understand the value of giving animals exercise, consistency, love and attention. I will absolutely follow your guidelines with your pet, after all, you know them best! I’ve had extensive experience giving medications, administering SQ fluids, treating wounds, etc. I’ve taken care of puppies during potty training, as well as senior animals.
