“Just finished our first three days and Suzie is doing a great job with our two dogs. They warmed up to her right away and are so excited to see her. Suzie is handling our nervous mix wonderfully. I’m confident and comfortable with Suzie’s ability to handle both dogs in a neighborhood with lots of other dog walkers. Knowing the pups are in capable hands brings or family great comfort ❤️👍🐕🐶👏”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, although as back to school season starts, my last day in Bakersfield will be September 15th. With no current academic commitments, I am able to build my daily routine around the pets I care for! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always do my best to keep their routines as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m not afraid to ask clarifying questions about your pets to ensure I am giving them the best care. :)

About: I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.

About: While I haven’t had formal pet care experience, I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always taken care of my own pets. I understand how important it is to give them love, attention, and consistent care. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and giving lots of affection. I may not have professional training, but I’m reliable, gentle, and genuinely care about the well-being of animals. I treat every pet like family! I currently work part-time at Chipotle, which gives me plenty of free time to care for your little ones. I’m available in the mornings, early afternoons, and on weekends! When visiting a client’s home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions to keep their pet safe and comfortable. I always double-check that doors and gates are secure, and I pay close attention to the pet’s behavior and surroundings during walks and playtime. I believe in building trust through patience, gentle handling, and creating a calm, fun environment where your pet feels safe and cared for

About: I've had dogs of all shapes in my house growing up: german shepherds, Yorkies, pit bulls and loooots of stray cats. I currently have 2 fur babies but I wish had more. I was the go-to kid in the neighborhood to check in on pets, play with them for energy, bathe and walk them and much more. I did it for fun, but looking back I probably should have charged $5 haha. I work from home and would love to help you out by watching, bathing, or walking your fur baby. I work from home and am very flexible in my hours. I am very familiar with dogs, cats and some rodent pets. I usually watch my friends' and family's dogs and cat while they are away and have no trouble fitting in plenty of walks and play time for them I make sure to respect the home and the owners while giving all my attention and time to the pets I'm watching. I also like to ask for particular tidbits that the animal's characters benefit from. (this goes from medications and feeding habits as well as things and behaviors to stay away from) For example, my pitbull needs a lot of attention but honestly, she just likes to be in the same room as everyone and likes to be talked to in funny voices whereas my Yorkie will just walk off and find a corner to crap in if she doesn't get enough attention and you will never know. I want pet parents to feel like they can forget about their pets while they are gone, it can be more trouble than it's worth to constantly worry and fret over your fur babies with a stranger.

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats and dogs. When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dogs hair and clip his nails. I have open availability so I can fit morning, afternoon, and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

“Wendi is great! My dog loved her right away. Being such a big dog, some people are timid and wary, but Wendi had no trouble walking him. His walks with her are the highlight of his days.”

About: I have had a dog of my own for 6 years now. Some more in past years. I have taken care of my friends and families pets for years now. Pets can be scared and intimidating but I know that with my love and patience with pets they do become comfortable with me. I work with kids, but my schedule is really flexible and I have breaks in between each client which gives me the opportunity to check up on pets. I have a fenced yard with two dogs. One of them is Charlie, a poodle/shih tzu, who is super sweet and the other dog is my sisters, who is a Rottweiler named Blue. Blue and Charlie are both sweet dogs. Blue is very energetic and playful and has never been aggressive as well as Charlie. Charlie mainly stays in my room in his kennel and Blue stays separated from the backyard and stays in the side area or in his kennel in the garage. All pets have always been separated but do give them opportunities to play with each other often and supervised.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: Pretty much all of my life I’ve had a pet or two within my household. My first pet I remember clearly have a lot of responsibilities for was a cat I had when I was around 7. I would feed her, clean her litter box, and overall assist my family with caring for her. A couple years later I got a Golden Retriever and it was this dog that showed me how much I love animals. Once again I was always willing to help with her care, taking her for walks, giving her baths, and brushing her hair whenever needed. Now I have two dogs that I take extension care of and that I love to death. I bathe them, feed them, play with and take for walks. I’m currently employed and work a part time job, with a majority of my focus being towards school. I attend classes Monday-Thursday. At the moment I am currently on winter break so when I’m not working I spend most days with my dogs. I take them for walks regularly, feed them everyday, and give them attention all throughout the days. I grew up being taught to treat animals and other living things with respect and kindness. When I dog sit animals I abide by the rules given to me by owners and will care completely for the animals. I will feed whatever pets exactly how I am instructed, let them go outside to use the restroom regularly, and play with them extensively. I love animals a lot and I will probably spoil the animals with lots of love and attention if allowed. When walking my own dogs I allow my dogs to go potty and will pick up after them, I would let the dogs walk wherever they choose to go. I know that the dogs walks are for them to go out and get some fresh air and go potty.

About: I have always taken care of my neighbors pets and I’m ready to take care of all your pets with their different personalities and sizes. So they will have 100% of my attention while I’m home. I have a one bedroom apartment and I have a little backyard for them to use the bathroom and stuff but I will take them on walks and keep them entertained so they have a good time

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I do live in a one bedroom apartment but I have a front yard I can take your dogs out for fresh air and to use the bathroom.

About: I might not have much pet sitting experience, but occasionally, I take care of my friends dog at his apartment. It’s very relaxing and rewarding. I think it would be very satisfying to take care of other people’s pets to get more experience with responsibility and life. I am available between Monday to Friday around late afternoon or evening. Nighttime as well. Just let me know ahead of time if you have any questions. Thank you. I’ll keep a good eye on your pet. I’ll hangout with them so they won’t get lonely. Or play with them. About: I have taken care of many animals, including some that most would consider incredibly difficult, so if your pets need more care or attention that won’t be a problem. I have handled dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs so I know what to do in situations like that. I have also taken care of days old kittens and I understand how to care and provide for young animals. I am self employed and my schooling is online so I have no scheduling conflicts. I am available at any time of any day really. I am able to take care of your pet however you need me to. I have taken care of pets who needed a lot of supervision and pets that needed very little. I love going on walks with them and I will take them to parks or things like that if that’s something you would like! I am currently self employed so I can work around any schedule. When I do house sitting, I usually do my work during the day and take as many breaks as needed to stop by the house and take care of the pets, and then I spend the night time spending more time with them. I have taken care of all different types of pets ranging from low to high maintenance. I have experience with escape artists and I am very aware and take special attention to ensure no one gets out. I also have experience with aggressive pets and I know how to handle myself in difficult situations. I feel like this is especially important for dogs that require walks because I am extra aware of other dogs in the area and I am more attentive to make sure there aren’t any quarrels.

“Jaden went above and beyond to walk our dog, Sirius. She took him to the park and got him pup cup! He absolutely adores her. Thank you so much!”

Suzie H.

Grace O.
“🐾 Grace O. is a gem! Grace looked after my two corgis and two cats while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a more attentive and loving caretaker. She made it clear that my pets were not only safe, but genuinely cared for. Grace even noticed the quirky habits of each of my cats—one is shy and prefers quiet corners, while the other is a curious troublemaker. She handled their differences with ease and affection. Coming home to happy pets and a tidy space was the cherry on top. It’s rare to find someone so responsible and warm-hearted. Grace truly has a gift, and I’d trust her again in a heartbeat.”

Lindsay L.

“Lindsay was very prompt with communication and my pup and kitty looked very happy after her visit! I will be using Lindsay’s services in the future!”

Shamya B.
“Sha'mya has helped both with my cat and other family members dogs for almost 4 years now. She helped give eye-infection medicine to my roommate's cat after he adopted him with one eye. She has been very helpful in watching for mine and my family's animals and has always been available when we have asked her. She has kept our litter box clean, and food/water in the bowl. She did great when my sister went out of town and helped watch her dogs.”

Clarrissa L.
“Clarrissa is very loving and caring towards pets. I’ve seen her interact with her pets and i’ve seen how cared for they are. She’s also taken care of my dog Luna, and she took the best care of her! I think she would be a perfect fit to take care of others’ pets.”

Tatum O.
“Tatum is one of the most compassionate, loving and attentive pet owners I have ever known. She has an instant connection with any animal but especially dogs. She's a dog whisperer and I would recommend her to anyone to take of their pets.”

Stephanie V.

“Stephanie is awesome! My Shiba Inu loves her, and she doesn’t take to most people! She’s always in a good mood, smiling, very reliable and professional!”

Tatiana P.
“Tatiana is an amazing person who I would full entrust my pets with! She is such a sweet soul who is an amazing pet owner as well, Seeing her interact with animals is truly a sight to see because she is extremely good with animals. I can say you can trust her to be the best pet caregiver!”

Wendi R.

“Wendi is great! My dog loved her right away. Being such a big dog, some people are timid and wary, but Wendi had no trouble walking him. His walks with her are the highlight of his days.”

Vanessa M.
“During our 21 year old, senior cat’s last days, Vanessa ensured our cat was comforted and cared for. Our loving senior was fed, loved, and watched after with the utmost attention and care. We know it is harder for people to want to care for senior animals as they have become fragile, sedentary, and overall have lost their young cuteness. Vanessa instead let our sweet angel take her time, playing with and petting her gently. She also made sure our tiny senior was fed around the clock, making sure to prepare her special diet thoroughly (she had oral surgery twice with teeth removed both time). I would recommend Vanessa for all animal needs. She is intuitive, attentive, and meets all demands you might have for your fur baby.”

Breanna L.
“I have used Breanna to watch my two German Shepherd’s at my house as well as taken them for socialization at the local dog park and does a remarkable job. Breanna has taken them to go hiking and get exercise and they respond to her really well. When she shows up they are eager to go. I would recommend Breanna to anyone who is needing to get their fur baby some exercise or if you need to get away and not worry about your loved ones care.”

Kaleb S.
“Kaleb is the most endearing and caring animal lover! He has always showed great compassion and love for his own pets and well as others. He has grown up with pets all his life and always been an amazing pet “parent” or caretaker. You can put your full trust in him when it comes to your fur babies.”
