About: Hi, I’m Matt! Throughout middle school and high school, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, providing care to various dogs. I’ve dog sat for a few people I know personally, providing drop in visits, overnight care and walks. Additionally, I've grown up with dogs, and we currently have three of our own who I’m with every day and love very much. I’m a college student (currently on break from classes) who works part time, so my availability is built around this. This means my week to week availability may not always look the same, but I will leave my schedule open for Rover whenever I can, ensuring I provide your dog with proper care. When caring for your dog in your home, they will always be safe and sound. For drop in visits, I will make sure to follow your dog’s normal routine to ensure their comfort. For walks, I will follow your dog’s pace, while always keeping my hand through the loop of the leash and wrapped around my wrist to keep them secure.

I love to take dogs on walks, hikes, and even up to 3 mile runs depending on what you'd like for your dog! I have worked with all types of dogs including those with behavioral issues as well. I currently own two cats and a dog, so reliable pet care and dog walking are always apart of my daily routine! I bring my own small training treats, but normally would expect pet owners to provide leashes/harnesses so their pet is comfortable and used to these accessories.
