About: Hello! I’m Rebecca, and with 15 years of personal pet care and about 10 years of professional experience, I’ve developed a serious soft spot for all creatures—whether they’re big, small, feathery, scaly, or furry! I’ve completed both online and in-person courses in dog training and behavior, and I even know CPR and how to spot medical issues to ensure your fur baby has a fabulous and safe stay. I live in a spacious rambler with a large fully fenced backyard perfect for potty breaks and playtime. There’s also a fantastic park with a trail right next door, ideal for burning off that extra energy! I take dogs out every hour while I’m home and come back every 2 to 3 hours while I’m away. Plus, I offer two walks per day, weather and schedule permitting. If your dog is staying with me over the weekend, they’ll likely get a trip to the dog park or some easy, dog-friendly hiking trails. My extremely playful and friendly Mastiff/Chow mix loves to socialize and is great for added playtime and exercise, as well as two energetic kids, ages 7 and 11, who adore animals and are always up for a game! Your dog will have no shortage of cuddles and fun! I’m also more than happy to care for other pets, including reptiles and small mammals. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable companions soon! I hold a full-time position with a high degree of flexibility, allowing me to work remotely or periodically return home to attend to matters as needed, as I only work 5 mins away. I offer a securely fenced yard where your dogs can frolic and play to their heart’s content. Additionally, I have cameras both inside and outside the home, ensuring that even when I need to step away, I can keep a watchful eye on your furry friends.

“Shayley did a great job caring for our dog. She stopped by to meet her first and I could tell immediately that she genuinely loves dogs. She fed and walked out dog for a long weekend. She sent some pictures that put our minds at ease. I was hoping our dog would feel more comfortable in her usual surroundings rather than boarding her like we've done before. This was our first experience with Rover and Shayley made it go so smoothly!”

“Makayla was amazing with my two cats, I could tell they really enjoyed having her stop by! I appreciated all of the updates she gave us, both about our girls and about the house in general.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid but I have watched other’s dogs on and off for the past 20 yrs. I love all dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’ve worked in a Veterinarian Clinic as a kennel tech/bather and in a dog daycare/boarding facility that at times could have an upwards of 100 dogs. I have some knowledge of dog health care, administering medications and tending to wounds. I am very good at reading dog body language as well. I do require some things. Your dog must be up to date on all vaccinations and I do suggest doing a meet and greet before hand. I also live in a fourplex so I can’t have dogs that bark excessively unless you have a vibrating collar of some sort that can manage it. That being said, caring for dogs is not a job to me but something I love more than anything and just an absolute privilege! I’m currently working part time so I still have plenty of time to play with your pups! I also live very close to my work so I can come and let the dogs out. I live in a cozy 3 bedroom apartment fourplex. There’s a ton of green grassy yard to play on. I do have to keep dogs on a leash since it’s not fenced in. I also have a couple very long cable lead outs. Inside they’re more than welcome to come cuddle on the couch.

About: It’s so nice to meet you! My name is Maddison and I’m excited to share a little about me. I have experience with a wide variety of animals. Growing up my family had dogs, cats, turtles, hedgehogs, chinchillas, lizards, fish, rabbits, goats, horses, pigs and chickens. When I was in high school I worked at Wheeler Historic Farm down in Murray as a farmhand on the weekends. I worked with cows, pigs, sheep, horses and all manner of farm animals. I loved every second of it! To this day I still work with animals. For the last few years I’ve been working with dogs as a poop scooper when my daughter is in school. An odd job, I know, but it makes me so happy to help every pet have a clean yard to play in and I truly love what I do! I want to give every animal I can some extra love while their owners are away and that’s why I’m here at Rover. I’m excited to give your pets the same love and care that you do every chance I can! Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me and I look forward to speaking soon. I am usually available for pet care outside of the hours of 10am to 3:30pm Sunday through Wednesday. I am currently working part time during the day at that time and due to caring for family Thursday-Saturday I am unavailable those days. I have plenty of flexibility for early morning, late afternoon and evening care on the days I’m available. I have no doubt we can work out a routine that meets the needs of you and your fur family! I know how important having a routine is for all pets. Everything from meal times, to potty breaks, to taking medication, to hearing familiar words and phrases for different activities. My dog Willow, seen in my profile picture, knows exactly when her breakfast and dinner is supposed to be and happily curls up in her kennel for sleepy time if I tell her “Go night night!.” Some nights she goes to bed before I even tell her too because she knows it’s about that time. So I know that our pets get used to those things and need that stability just as much as we do. I look forward to learning what your routine is with your sweet pets and making sure they have that familiarity and comfort with me as well ❤️
