About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, big and small, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m the go-to sitter for friends because I genuinely love being around animals and put a lot of care into making sure they feel safe, understood, and comfortable. During my psychology degree, I spent a year and a half studying Animal-Assisted Interventions, focusing on animal behavior, emotional attunement, human-animal connection, and therapeutic support work. My own dog is a huge part of my life — she travels around the country with me and goes almost everywhere by my side. I personally trained her with therapy/service dog foundations, which taught me a lot about patience, consistency, structure, and reading a dog’s needs and body language I'm fortunate that my days are centered around my dog, Bennie. I get up, let her out right away, then prepare her breakfast, and she eats while we start the morning together outside. I’m home most of the time and spend my days in the yard gardening, doing yard work, or working on projects around the property, so she’s with me and supervised throughout the day. I also always make sure there’s some form of engagement or mental stimulation so dogs are never bored or over-energized, whether that’s training, enrichment activities, or interactive play. If I need to run errands, Bennie usually comes with me and stays in the car if the weather is safe. If it’s too warm, she stays home in her calm, familiar environment instead. I’m typically only gone for short errands and make a point of never leaving her alone for long. When we’re not at home, we’re usually outside doing something active- swimming at the lake, going on hikes, going for runs, or taking long walks. Our lifestyle is very outdoors-oriented, and she’s included in almost everything I do Bennie is always at the top of my mind, and safety is my number one priority. I have a fully fenced, dog-proof yard with a secure gate that is always kept closed. I also have cameras on the property to monitor for wildlife or anything unsafe outside. Inside the home, I use non-toxic, pet-safe cleaning products and avoid harsh chemicals. I’m very mindful of anything dogs could be sensitive to, including what they’re exposed to, what they play with, and what they’re given. I only use safe toys and bones that are appropriate and supervised. Overall, I focus on creating a calm, secure environment where dogs can relax, explore, and feel completely safe while still having structure and supervision

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs of all sizes for as long as I can remember. I grew up with large breeds like Bullmastiffs, Neapolitan Mastiffs, and Cane Corsos, so I’m very comfortable handling bigger dogs. My family has also taken in dogs with reactivity issues, which has given me patience and experience working with dogs that need a little extra understanding and structure. I currently have a senior mastiff mix with three legs, so I’m confident caring for dogs with different abilities and special needs. While I specialize in dogs, I absolutely love cats as well and have experience caring for them. I understand they often need a gentler, more patient approach and I’m happy to provide that. I currently have full availability everyday while I wait for my new job to begin. This includes housesitting and overnights on weekdays and weekends! Also, I am available for quick check-in’s or walks through the week. I care for all pets as if they are my own. I will go at their pace whether that means they want to play all day, or do their own thing! Whatever I am instructed to do by you, the owner, is how I will proceed.

About: Hi there! I'm Kim, a 44 year-old Physical Therapist. I am active and love to hike, bike, skin the mountain & cross country ski - and would enjoy taking your dog on any adventure, big or small. I love dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and ages; and will care for your pet like it is my own. I grew up with Annie-Belle, an orange Tabby cat who hopped our fence and was never claimed by her previous owners. In my adult life I adopted Kayla, a Siberian Husky mix who adventured with me for 18 lucky years. I have not yet found a new pet of my own, but greatly enjoy the time I get to spend with client’s furry friends. Recently, I have also been housesitting and caring for the gardens for patients of mine while they are on vacation, with or without pets. Over my years in the Flathead Valley I have developed repeat customers that I enjoy interacting with, and look forward to caring for their pets and homes whenever requested as well as meeting new clients. I am available for long-term gigs as well. I can provide as many updates as pictures as you desire while your pets are in my care. I am currently in between Physical Therapy jobs thus have wide availability for the immediate future. I rent at my home and landlords do not allow dogs, so I come to you for doggy day care, overnights, long stays, etc. I am very cautious while petsitting. Even if owners say their dog is ok off leash I at least leash them in the parking lot to load/unload and wait until a quarter mile away from the parking lot to unleash. Not worth the risk of the unknown, especially before you’re certain a dog trusts you and will respond to your commands. I will treat and care for your pets and home like they are my own.

About: I’ve always loved caring for animals since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at my local SPCA in Richmond, VA. I’ve helped pet sit for neighbors, friends, and family over the years. I’m currently am working part-time! I am available on Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues I can be flexible on weekends just let me know dates as well as times in advance! Growing up in Virginia I lived in my family home with a fenced in yard. My parents currently have two labs in Virginia. Finn and Sadie. I work seasonally, so whenever I’m home I typically am in charge of caring for the dogs. In the off-season (November & April) I usually take care of my brother’s dog Ringo in Colorado. Always making sure they have plenty of water, they are fed twice a day at the same time, and taken on walks. Always love throwing ball in the backyard and giving them treats.

About: I have always grown up having pets around and am currently the pet mom to my beautiful boy Sulley (a 4 year old Australian shepherd) and Toulouse (an 3 year old) . We are always out and about, going on hikes and walks around Whitefish and would love to be able to add a few doggie (or kitty) friends to our daily routine. We also don’t mind sitting on the couch and being a bum. I know how important it is for you to feel safe leaving your animal with someone and I hope to be that person for you and your pets. I work PRN at Logan Health Behavioral Health so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to give lots of attention and time with each pet I watch. Leaving your pet can be scary so knowing someone is attentive to their needs is important. I want to make sure I keep your animals routine as normal as possible so I always love to hear the basics of what makes your animal happy/their need to the tiny details that only a pet parent knows.

About: Hi pet owners! My name is Martina. My Rover goal is to get some extra time with dogs around town while making some extra income. I currently have two cuddly perfect kitties but I did grow up with dogs and miss having them in my home. I love all pups and am looking forward to helping you with yours! I have years of experience living with animals and caring for them. I’m also very active and like long walks in the woods which is always more fun with a furry companion. I work evenings but I am available most days and have a flexible schedule. I work nights and minimal days so I’ve very flexible! I would love a regular walking schedule with a local dog in my neighborhood. It’s important to me to get movement in every day and a walk around the block is just so much better with a pup! I have two cats that are not the biggest fan of their canine counterparts… so I would prefer to come to your home! I spend a lot of time playing with my two cats and making sure that they are loved on and pet multiple minutes a day. That one on one time is important to me. I extend that same care to dogs I watch!

Availability & Flexibility While I work full-time, I’m committed to being as flexible as possible. I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off, but I’m more than willing to work around my schedule to make sure your pet gets the care, attention, and check-ins they need. I’d be honored to care for your fur baby and treat them with the same love I gave my own. I can care for your fur babies overnight in your/their home and most evenings. About: I'm 18 years old but I've taken care of all sorts of animals my entire life, cats, dogs, lizards, you name it! I've also had 6 dogs and 1 cat myself, which have all grown up and old in a happy and fun environment! I do not live in a neighborhood, so i have a large fenced yard along with about 4 acres of field to play in, along with a lake near me for hot summer days. Given all of the pets i've taken care of, I have great experience in dogs and cats of all ages, puppies, senior dogs, etc. I am currently a senior in high school at Glacier, however I only have one class that is completely online, so i am home all day everyday! Along with school i work a part-time nanny job in the AM Mondays and Thursdays, but it is super flexible so i can meet your needs. As you can see i have a very open schedule that is easy to work with, and i am home most of my days which is perfect to watch your animals. I'm using my love for animals as a little source of extra income! I have a large fenced and protected yard with an easily accessible dog door on both the top and bottom floor of my home. I do have two of my own fur babies, but they are trained and are used to being around all different types of dogs. However, if your dog/ cat is not good with other dogs and cats I am able to keep them separated by the floors in my house, so that would be no problem.
