About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I have experience with dogs who have special needs, specifically, neurological disorders requiring medication administration. I’ve spent the last two years training my dog, Bubba, through separation anxiety and reactive aggression. He went from chasing cats to occasionally taking naps with them. My first dog, Lilly, was reactive to dogs and when I brought home Bubba as a puppy, my family called him “snack” because they didn’t think it was possible, but she immediately took him in and they were inseparable for 7 years! I’ve always been gifted at reading animals - humans, not so much. I will always advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves :) I’m available every day, whenever you need! I recently quit my job and needed a fun way to get a little extra cash before moving to the PNW! Unfortunately, my dog is an anti-social introvert and doesn’t like visitors. His house, his rules… However, I’m more than happy to care for your pet inside of your home!
About: I’ve grown up with many cats and different types of dog's. I had a dog that was 19 years old and have been self training my current dog since I got him. Im currently a student at Chico State so I have plenty of time after classes and school. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets after 2pm on most weekdays. I make sure there’s no way to escape or places that can hurt your pet if it gets in those places. I would make sure to be attentive and make sure I know what they’re up to.
About: What sets me apart is my genuine care and attention to every pet in my care. I understand that leaving your furry family member with someone else can be stressful, so I make it my priority to provide the same level of love, patience, and comfort they receive at home. I am dependable and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality, and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and respect. ’m a stay-at-home grandmother who genuinely enjoys caring for animals. During the week, I care for my grandchildren until 5:00 p.m., but I’m available for daytime drop-in visits and walks around my schedule. I have much more flexibility on weekends and am available anytime, including overnight stays when needed. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to providing your pet with the same love, care, and attention they receive at home. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, happy, and loved. know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care. I’ll treat both with the same respect and care I would want for my own. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, keep them safe and comfortable, and send you updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away. ❤️🐾

I’ve had the same Beautiful Most Awesome cat named Gizmo for 15 years until October of last year when cancer took him from me! I’m deeply saddened still. And please believe me when I say. “It was the hardest thing I ever had to do or went thru”. He was my best bud and I loved saying hello when I got home but when he was gone it has been my hardest goodbye! I have dog/New baby puppy sit for a good family friend. And learned anlot anbout new puppies and the special care they need! And I love every minuet of it! I also clean and make sure the home is presentable and reasonably ready for their mom and/or Dad to get home so they do not have to worry about cleaning their mess. Or her own. If client is comfortable with that. Then I would do anything that was asked of me! I’m very punctual and respectful and take into account what the client needs not what I think they need. It’s your family member. It’s your house, all you got to do is talk to me and let me know what you need and I will do my best at providing that service. I also have 1 dog named Bella and 2 cats named Abel and Mozart in our family. Update: Bella past from cancer a few weeks ago, and Mozart passed 2 weeks ago due to kidney disease ! Please check my pets profile to see pics of them. And let me tell you. This is their house. We just live in it! LOL. Abel is new. I adopted him shortly after some grieving time over Gizmo. And he is just like gizmo. Big personality and very much a pain in my rear. But he’s our child. And he’s so beautiful! Thank you so much for your time in reading this. And don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I am a partially disabled person. I have a disease that affects my hips and lower spine, and then a disease that we believe. I contracted through my father‘s service in Vietnam, but don’t worry nothing that’s contagious. LOL. Nothing that is Gunna take me out anytime soon but getting out of the house to go take care of fur babies is the best thing for me. It gives me exercise. It gives me purpose and it gives me the ability to give the love that I have to give away to other members of peoples families. I’m truly honest and respectful, and need more purpose in my life to help other’s, my hips and my Parkinson’s disease will not slow me down. I’m young still at 41 and I will continue to do anything and everything I can to help anyone in everyone that I can. I would like to continue helping by doing this service for you and your family.. And NOTHING WILL keep me from doing anything and everything needed in any case of taking care of your home or your furbaby. unfortunately, I can only take care of people’s homes & their fur babies in their own home, because of my furbabies. Thank you for understanding. I will keep your home in pristine condition. Cat boxes will be cleaned 2 to 3 times a day unless instructed otherwise. I’m very particular about that so your fur babies and your home will be treated with respect and love and cared for by me, which means I will put my all into anything that you need taken care of.

“I came home shortly after Jasmine came to check up a final time and dropped Willow off. Both Naomi and Willow are so incredibly tired but absolutely happy! I am so glad all my girls got tons of exercise with Jasmine and her companion, Kiwi. As a first time user of this website, and of hiring a pet sitter in general, I was absolutely happy to get regular check in's/ updates on all my girls while I was away. I was admittedly very nervous to have a sitter come over but Jasmine made it such a smooth and easy process. She definitely gained my trust for future needs and I will absolutely be recommending her to friends and colleagues.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
