“Extremely friendly. Very responsive. I always feel safe when my best friend stays with her. My boy accidentally had gotten a small cut on his nose during his stay & she made sure that I was informed immediately. She applied ointment and sent me constant updates. Very grateful for my boy being in great hands while I was away.”

“Kristie was absolutely amazing. She cared for my dog as if she was her own furry family member. She was VERY flexible when it came to pick up and drop off times. During our meet and greet we discussed my dogs needs, along with my personal preferences for receiving photos and information. I must say Kristie and her family are genuinely really nice people. They even assisted me mounting my neq vehicle license plate! I hands down will 100 % reach out to Kristie for future care. I'm even positive that my dog will be excited to meet with Kristie again ❤️”

“Melanie was awesome and took great care of our dog Whodat! She was responsive and very accommodating with my change in plans. She gave me photo and video updates and took great care of our fur-baby! I highly recommend and will book her again!!”

“Iris was a great babysitter for our dog! This was our first time using Rover and our family was nervous. We know our pup well and wanted the best. Iris communicated everything with great detail from beginning to end. She calmed our nerves with a meet and greet prior to our booking and continued to communicate and send photos the whole time we were out of town. We very much appreciated the level of care for our dog!”

Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
