“Chantilly was the perfect sitter for our fur baby Koa. She kept me updated with photos and made our vacation more enjoyable knowing that Koa was being well taken care of. We will definitely use Chantilly again.”

“I got updates on how my boys were doing throughout the week and they came back to me happy and healthy. Kristie asked me about their schedules and how we do things at home so they would be comfortable in their new environment. I would definitely book again for the next time I need to board.”

“Absolutely AMAZING! This was our first time leaving our pup for more than just a few hours and she made her feel very at home! I got picture and text updates daily. All-in-all if you need a puppy sitter Shalin is the way to go.❤️”

“I’m very pleased with Bridget’s care of our Beagle, Macie. I could tell at our meet & greet that she pays attention to detail, is knowledgeable, and truly kind and attentive to the pets left in her care. Bridget is a very warm & affectionate person that I liked immediately. It felt comfortable to leave our 7 month old Beagle with her. I will definitely be using her again for our next mini trip in September.”

“We love Lilly!! Oscar is always more calm and happy after spending time with her. Thank you always for your tender loving care with our baby and your boyfriend Oscar!😄😂”

About: I have 5 years of experience caring for animals. I have 2 dogs if my own as well as having grown up around my childhood dog. I love to take them on walks and taking them outside to play! I have a high energy dog myself, so I have experience. I do work a full-time job, but I am home every day around 4 and I would be able to come home on lunch breaks and let them potty. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but I can and will take them out on a leash if you would like me to.
“Cassidy was so amazing with our dog!! She sent us pictures, updated us along the way, made our girl feel at home and special. Cassidy was on-time, caring and very professional. I can not recommend her enough and will be booking again. As a dog mom, having someone you trust to watch your dog is extremely relieving. Cassidy is your person!!!”

About: Dogs are the most awesome pets to have. I love spending every free moment I have with mine Toby and Lance. They bring me happiness whenever I see them. They put me in check with what is important. I would have 20 of these little guys of my own if that would be possible. So instead I decided to become a pet-sitter and enjoy other people's pets. This also gives my dogs play time and social interaction with others. The greatest and most memorable times are the times spent with dogs. These guys deserve the best care and happiness we can provide them. So now Rover.com has provided me the opportunity to share my love for animals. You will not have any worries or doubts your will be in great hands of a responsible and attention to detail pet sitter.. Thanks for checking out my profile. I hope you book me soon for your pets! Mike J.
“Savannah was fantastic- she took great care of my dog and cat and she was so sweet and sent great pictures. It was good to know my boys were safe and in good hands with her. Will definitely use her again!”

“Callie was amazing with my little dog Emma. I was so worried about leaving her with anyone. She sent me pictures and always responded when I checked in to see how Emma was doing. Emma was happy to see me but not out of control happy like she usually is which tells me she didn’t miss me too much and was in good hands lol ?”

I also rescued my own dog 5 years ago and he gets the full VIP treatment like his morning walks, night walks, plenty of potty breaks, well timed meals, and lots of playtime and attention throughout the day. I truly enjoy spending quality time with dogs, keeping them active, happy, and feeling loved. Dogs are honestly my happy place and my daily serotonin, they’re family to me. I treat every pet like my own, and my goal is to make sure both pets and their humans feel happy, relaxed, and confident while they’re in my care. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. Since I’m home most of the time, I can easily accommodate different routines and time needs, including last minute requests when possible. I’m always happy to work around your dog’s schedule and will do my best to be as reliable and accommodating as possible. I take great pride in caring for my own dog and making sure he’s always clean, comfortable, and well looked after. I keep a clean, cozy home, make sure potty breaks are consistent, and ensure my dog is always warm, safe, and happy indoors. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Longville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Longville.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Longville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
