As a medical student, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pet while you're away. I have an AKC Canine Good Citizen certified dog who is truly part of my family, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. While I'm not an AKC-certified trainer, I have experience with obedience training and recently fostered and trained a dog from the ground up, helping them build confidence and good manners before finding their forever home. Although I'm not a veterinarian, my medical training has made me comfortable following medication schedules, recognizing when something seems off, and paying close attention to details. I know how important it is to notice changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or mobility, and I'll always communicate any concerns promptly. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone to cuddle with, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away. I am currently on clinical rotations so my schedule changes every 4 weeks. This is something I want to fit in when I have time because pets deserve the world. I will say I’m available unless I can provide your pet my full attention. I have a friendly dog at home who is comfortable with large and small dogs. He is very social. Although I don’t currently have my own yard my appartment had a beautiful dog park! My dog and I go on two walks a day rain or shine. If it’s summer and we go later than 8am I have him wear boots to protect him from hot pavement. I like to practice training with him and taking him to the dog park.

She was very kind. Once we departed for our vacation I was informed throughout each day of the status of my Leo and his interactions with the other dogs. I received pictures and video of him daily. I was able to add her comments, videos and pictures to our family group chat. This was major since Leo is our first dog, we only had him 7 months and this was our first time leaving him. Although I'm not a veterinarian, my medical training has made me comfortable following medication schedules, recognizing when something seems off, and paying close attention to details. I know how important it is to notice changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or mobility, and I'll always communicate any concerns promptly. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone to cuddle with, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away. I am currently on clinical rotations so my schedule changes every 4 weeks. This is something I want to fit in when I have time because pets deserve the world. I will say I’m available unless I can provide your pet my full attention. I have a friendly dog at home who is comfortable with large and small dogs. He is very social. Although I don’t currently have my own yard my appartment had a beautiful dog park! My dog and I go on two walks a day rain or shine. If it’s summer and we go later than 8am I have him wear boots to protect him from hot pavement. I like to practice training with him and taking him to the dog park.

“Iris was extremely professional took her time explaining her process. She introduced my dog to each of her dogs and the dog under her care individually. She shared training techniques. She was very kind. Once we departed for our vacation I was informed throughout each day of the status of my Leo and his interactions with the other dogs. I received pictures and video of him daily. I was able to add her comments, videos and pictures to our family group chat. This was major since Leo is our first dog, we only had him 7 months and this was our first time leaving him. The updated calmed the anxiety my wife and children had about leaving our dog behind. For my first experience to be a 10 of 10 was amazing. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs almost my whole life. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’m great when it comes to routines. I also can bath and brush the dog if asked, I’m great with puppies as well as senior dogs. I work from home full-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I’m available most weekends and holidays as well. Whether your pet needs overnight care or just drop-in visits, I’m happy to accommodate both. I make sure they are comfortable and feel safe, I make sure they get plenty of love, I make sure I send pics of the kitty or doggy to there owners as I know how it feels going somewhere and having to worry about how there pets doing

About: All animals are some of my favorite things about life. I have been raised around all sorts of cats and dogs since I was born. I have learned the ins and out of all ages with these animals, and having a passion for making sure they are taken care of and always loved. For now, I pretty much have an open schedule! I do make time for my online schooling throughout the week, but other than that, I can easily make time to come take care of your animals. I have one dog, a puppy less than a year old who loves to play with other dogs, so if your pet stays at my home, they will for sure be taken care of.
